If you buy anything from this store, make sure they actually schedule the delivery. We ordered furniture, where given a delivery date, and then the store never scheduled the delivery. I called the day before the delivery to confirm - thinking it strange that they hadn't already done that - and they had no clue. The manager said she'd talk with the sales representative who neglected to schedule the delivery, but, really, they're a furniture store - how do they not schedule delivery correctly? So, now - since I just got rid of the old furniture - I have no furniture in my living room for two weeks since there was "nothing they could do." I won't buy from Arhaus again. If you do, be extra careful to make sure your delivery is scheduled correctly. read more

I love this store. The only reason they don't have five stars is because of the price. Delivery rates are flat charges. So, if you buy $1000 worth of furniture/accessories or $10,000 worth, it's a $99 delivery charge. They also have one-of-a-kind items that are wonderful. You can find things in the store to fit practically any style. if I were to furnish my house in only one store, this would be it. I have had very positive experiences with the sales and design staff. I will say that they aren't always around which I like. I'm not one who likes to have sales people asking if they can help every five minutes. read more

Arhaus has exemplary customer service - simply the best. I bought 2 large dining tables worth $3000 from them a couple of years ago. I had some minor issues with both of them, and called the store. They immediately agreed to ship a new replacement table free of cost (based on my word alone), and credited me some money for the other one. They are not cheap - but definitely worth it read more

I agree with some of the other reviews that the price of the furniture and the delivery/customer service are not aligned. I to ordered furniture in the fall and waited 2 months for delivery. The delivery service they use is REALLY bad--scheduling is a nightmare and they have terrible customer service. When my furniture was finally delivered one of the delivery guys stole a pair of earrings I had laying on a table next to where they were working. (Jokes on him though b/c the earrings were broken and I had them out to return to the store lol.) read more

Horrible Customer Service!!! I ordered a dining table, 6 upholstered chairs, and a chandelier on March 7 with Arhaus in Burlington, MA with the understanding that the furniture needed to be delivered by May 29. No problem, I was told, the order would be ready in 5-7 weeks. I live in MA and the new home being furnished is in Delaware. It is May 27 and I still have not heard from the delivery service, even though I was told the order is waiting in the warehouse to be delivered. I have sent 7 emails to the sales manager explaining I will be in Delaware this weekend and only this weekend for the closing and need the furniture to be delivered. I asked them to advocate with the delivery service on my behalf. Although they have been holding a 50% deposit since March 7, the sales manager demanded that the other 50% be paid before the delivery date could be scheduled. Now they have 100% of the balance and I still do not have a delivery date. I should have known better because a friend of mine furnished her house in Newport, RI several years ago with Arhaus furniture and it was a nightmare, broken furniture and delayed delivery. The furniture is beautiful but is not worth the aggravation. I will contrast it to the service I received from Pottery Barn which was excellent. Not only did they zero my credit card balance while my husband was temporarily furloughed from work due to COVID19; they advocated on my behalf to ship a partial furniture order on May 29, so I would at least have a sofa to sit on in my new home, and waived the delivery fee for the balance of the order when it is ready to ship. In the customer service department POTTERY BARN WINS hands down, Arhaus is not in the race. read more

I would never step foot in another Arhaus store . I ordered two tables in October to be delivered in January and just received one of them in March. I had to cancel the other because I was tired of spending hours on the phone talking to people who gave me different stories everytime. They also messed up my credit and not once did anyone seem concerned with my unpleaseant experience. I also forgot to mention that they had my money the whole time. They told me in January I should pay in full to be sure to get a delivery date on schedule. read more

WOW! What a complete nightmare it is to deal with their customer service! First of all, it takes months and months to get your stuff and the process is PAINFUL!! The dates that items are "supposed" to ship are never accurate! You have to keep calling and checking on them or else you get no notifications and its a big guessing game of when you will receive them! When you try and call to talk to someone you have to wait atleast 30-45 min to get through to someone! Once we received some of our items we were not satisfied at all with quality and so then the return process is just a total nightmare! You call to issue the return and then they tell you someone will call you within two days to issue it. I waited a week and NO CALL! When I call back they have no idea what I am talking about and nothing has been issued or documented. Then when they say its processed now, I receive an email days later asking me if I would like to exchange them for something else - NO WAY!? They make it so impossible and hard to return things in hopes that you end up keeping it or getting something else in exchange. Finally I got them to process the return after 2 weeks of back and forth and they are charging me fees and say they will let me know within 2 weeks of when it will be picked up. The customer service is completely terrible and they have ZERO ethics on how to deal with a customer who is spending money with them. I am in interior design and have never been so disappointed with a company like I am with Arhaus. I will never purchase a single item from them again. You are so much better off going to a place like Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, RH etc because they invest so much more into their customer service! Hope this helps anyone wondering about if they should purchase from this company!! read more

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at Arhaus. We ordered a chandelier in October 2020 and still have not received our purchase. We have called the Riverside Square mall store on numerous occasions to inquire about the status of our order and the service we received was very dismissive. We felt it was best to go into the store to speak to a manger and and was told that the delivery date is set for the end of January. When the delivery was not made in January, we checked with the store and was told the end of February. We checked in today to confirm that the delivery was actually going the be made next week and was told that the delivery date has been moved to the end of March. At this point I don't know if they are just making up delivery dates to put a bandage on our inquiry. I asked the manager why customers are not receiving a courtesy call when deliveries are not going to be made on time and his response was that we have over 85 stores and can't give calls to every customer to let them know that deliveries will not be on the date provided. He then said that are more than welcome to cancel the order. He did not took the time to be understanding of our frustration and to try his best as a manager to make us feel at ease that we will definitely receive our order or offer a similar item as an exchange. My husband and I felt that we were not treated as valuable customers and therefore we decided to cancel our order. Why do business we a company who does not value their customer business. I am disappointed that we will not be continuing our business with Arhaus. Shopping at this store comes with the expectation that you will receive excellent customer service and to my disappointment that was not the case. in January. Why give business to a company that does not appreciate your business. read more

We ordered a sectional from Arhus on Aug. 1 of this year. We were told it would take12 weeks. After numerous inquiries and many false dates, we received a phone stating it won't be here until mid-Feb. We've had to purchase additional seating because this was to be the only sofa in our home. Over six months to deliver is absolutely ridiculous. Arhus's lack of concern has been prevalent throughout this process. Like many others, I will never recommend or shop in this store again. read more

I will never buy any type of furniture from Arhaus. There are overpriced for the quality they deliver. My $8,000 sofa/loveseat set looks and feel something you would buy at Value City. I am very disappointed and feel cheated. read more

Purchased a 112" Bauman Media console after being reassured by phone salesman that it would break down into 4 pieces to "easily" make it up the stairs and around the corner. It came in 3 pieces and the middle piece was massive and had no chance of getting in. Floors were ruined by movers with no chance of being fixed by them. (White Glove installation service which was extra) Was told by online customer service that the doors were considered the 4th piece. Then they had nerve to charge a $600 restocking and shipping fee. I think you would be crazy to purchase anything from this company so please learn from my mistake read more

Buyer beware - I ordered a bedroom set (bed, dresser and nightstand) and 2 of the three pieces had issues upon delivery. The bed didn't go together correctly and I was left with a storage bed where the wooden rails and headboard didn't fit together. The dresser had a defective pull. The delivery service said I would hear from Arhaus - never did and I had to call to find out how this would be handled. "Concierge" had my order wrong but eventually told me the bed would be replaced and a new pull would be ordered. I asked what they were going to do to make this "right" given this was my first experience with Arhaus, my entire Saturday morning was blown since it took so long to figure out the bed would never go together and after waiting months for the order, it was basically wrong. She said she would have to talk to her manager and would let me know...never heard back. For the money paid, I wouldn't shop here again. read more

We ordered a landsbury sectional in January. It was delivered damaged! When I called my sales rep, she immediately sent me to the corporate concierge service, which basically told me they would send someone to fix the pieces, but wouldn't consider replacing. I went back and forth with them without resolve. Finally a contracted furniture repair company contacted me to schedule a repair. He was great, but basically disclosed that this happens ALL OF THE TIME with Arhaus. Terrible! 2 of the issues were large tears in the seams of my cushions, another was a large dent in the back of one of the pieces and another was a corner that was bent. Beware! read more

This review is for the Dune 4 piece sectional. Arhaus does not have customer review option on their web site so I am writing this review on here. The seat and back Cushions (inserts) are terrible, nothing like models in stores. Beware! When I ordered this sectional I was not offered any choices in cushions and thought they would be the same as in the store. I noticed right away that the wedge piece seat cushion was much too flat/soft and got a replacement. The wedge seat is the only cushion that remains solid and comfortable after 5 years of use. I even purchased the extra warranty plan but Arhaus solution was for me to pay to replace seat and back cushion inserts to the tune of well over $1000. This was an expensive piece and I thought we were making an investment in quality. Based on our experience, the Dune Sectional is not worth the investment. read more

The worst! We used Arhaus DFW. The quality isn't that spectacular for the exorbitant price. What is the most awful is the customer service AFTER the purchase. Our furniture finally arrived around 6 months after purchase (ridiculous). My neighbor also ordered and 7 months later canceled because she still had not received her couch, plus she witnessed our experience! One of our chairs was broken. Ok things happened, but we still haven't received a replacement. This is after they sent a wrong replacement base (and expected us to assemble it). Then they sent us the original broken chair now stained from being in a warehouse and still broken... In the meantime the couch cushions where unacceptably poor quality. So they sent replacements, which arrived stained / ran over with tire marks. Instead of sending another set of replacements they sent a guy 2 months later to clean them. He just left saying he can't clean them because they are made of down. You would think Arhaus would have known this, but I think they like going out of their way to make things as difficult and less cost efficient as possible. My neighbor made the right decision to cancel. Wish we had been as discerning as our neighbors! Instead, we here we sit nearly a year later, still waiting for the replacement chair and cushions. Hope this helps someone in the future. :( read more

So far I have only purchased accessories from this Arhaus store, lighting and pillows, but I am in the market for a new chair and sofa and have been in the store several times looking and trying various pieces to make my decision. First, the store is gorgeous and gives you terrific ideas for your home. The displays are like art installations, really beautiful and inspiring. The staff in the store is very friendly and helpful. While you know they are there to sell you furniture, they are not pushy. I look forward to finalizing my decision and ordering my furniture! read more

Buyer beware! I will never buy from Arhaus again! I have never left an online review, but after such a horrible experience, I must warn others to not buy from Arhaus. Their lilfetime gaurantee for when anything ever breaks is not an honest statement. We bought kitchen chairs from them. They were flimsy and required maintenance every few months. Not a huge deal. We never complained to them. but when one broke (along the joint in the chair glued by Arhaus, not us) I contacted them because of their lifetime warrenty. I did not ask for a replacement, nor money back. It just needed some chair glue. Their response: First, they implied that we did the damage, then an associate strongly insinuated in a condescending tone that someone heavy must have sat on the chair. (I mean, really.) Then they said their lifetime warrenty does not apply if it is not within the first few months of use. They are NOT an honest company. I am not buying my sofa or anything else from them now afterall. Buyer beware! I have never written a bad review before in my life, but I had to in this case. read more

Customer service is extremely poor. I customed ordered furniture and have paid for it. It can't seem to get delivery. Please look elsewhere for fine furniture. There are lots of other choices. I am beyond frustrated. read more

Terrible experience dealing with Arhaus. We ordered two Josephine chairs from the Tyson's store. When the chairs arrived they were much less comfortable than we expected. In fact, there was so little seating space, people were falling forward out of the chairs. We decided to measure the chairs and discovered that they were 3 inches smaller than they should be. Arhaus has done nothing to rectify the situation and dealing with their customer service has been awful. read more

Completely unacceptable customer service. I purchased the Tuscany buffet not even a year ago. One of the doors is broken (because it is so large and the hinges are so small). When I called I had to jump through hoops to get them to send someone to look at it. When the technician showed up he was basically going to glue it back together instead of properly fixing it. I told him no way, and he said someone would call me. No one did. I had to call customer service again today to ask for a new door, and I was told that they discontinued my item and if I do not want it glued that I can get a store credit to buy something else and they would pick this piece up. Obviously if I liked something else I would have selected it. The lady on the phone was getting annoyed with me! I finally settled on having a second technician come to my house. They just called and gave me a five hour window - I am not taking a day off of work to sit around for five hours waiting to have someone come and glue the furniture back together. So disappointed in the quality of this furniture - very expensive and the company does not stand behind their items. Glue is not an acceptable way to fix furniture!! Never again. read more

I am truly astounded that these people remain in business. We spent in excess of $15,000 at Arhaus and had perhaps the worst buying experience and customer service that I can recall. One hand never knows what the other is doing; their customer service department cannot follow up on a promise and I had to contact the CEO office to get them off the snide and actually fulfill the commitment - If they were half the price of the nearest competitor I still would not buy from them again - don't waste your time read more

We have bought some beautiful furniture (expensive) from Arhaus. While the furniture is great, the customer service is horrible at best. The team in house does NOTHING (and i mean NOTHING) to earn your business. After spending $10,000 on office furniture, you would think you would be a valued customer or atleast considered one, especially when you have the whole house to furnish. I look at the furniture online and i am ready to spend another $10,000. But every time i pick up the phone to call or deal with someone I regret my decision. So, today, i decide not to use Arhaus for any of my furniture needs as they really need to take care of their customers first! read more

My opinion is not much different than a lot of reviews I have seen. I like the look of the furniture and the staff at the store was helpful, the customer service is terrible. We had the furniture delivered with 3 incomplete or damaged pieces delivered. I called arhaus with the delivery person to report the damaged furniture and was told a timeline of when parts or replacement pieces would be sent out. I called arhaus back 1 week later and was told they were on their way. 10 days later, I still haven't received any communication. Another 1 hour phone call to Arhaus revealed that nothing was scheduled to be sent out on the original day that we called to report the damaged furniture. The pieces they apparently sent out when i called a second time were lost and they did not have a tracking number. They assured me everything was going to be sent out when I made my 3rd phone call but now a couple pieces were on back order. I am so frustrated with the poor service I am now sending the 10 pieces of furniture back that I ordered over 2 months ago and still are not complete. read more

Horrible delivery and customer service!!!! Never again!!!! Delivery guys literally sliced the fabric on my new sofa when they cut the plastic protective covering on my brand New sofa upon delivery. Arhaus is horrendous when it comes to customer service and delivery. Buyer beware!!!!!! read more

Although Arhaus has high quality furniture, their customer service is a complete disaster! Their warehouse has lost our order, and no one ever calls to let us know when we can expect a delivery. We needed to replace our family room sofa and love seat and my sis-in-law recommended Arhaus-I am glad she did. They have furniture for just about any taste. The fabric choices are overwhelming (400)! They have fabrics in any texture, print or solid you could want. The price of your furniture will vary depending upon what fabric you pick out. I can't deal with a lot of choices, and I am pretty easy to please, so we asked the gentleman helping us to select just a few sand and green solid colors for us to look at. At least we had the colors narrowed down. You can take samples home with a deposit and see how the colors will work for you. You can customize to your heart's content here. I really like their emphasis on not using endangered wood and the uniqueness of some of their pieces. Since our sofa and love seat are custom order-it does take a while, but we were in no hurry. They do have things in stock which take less time. read more

So far our experience with Arhaus has been less than mediocre. We spent a ridiculous amount of money for what we thought was going to be high quality and amazing customer service. We picked out a stock fabric because we needed the couches quickly. We also asked for no down or down alternative because I am highly allergic to feathers. Our couches got delayed because they over sold the fabric.. but we only found that out by following up myself. They decided to set us up with loaner couches that reflected the couches we had purchased and we were guaranteed they were brand new and never used. Needless to say, they did not reflect what we purchased and all 3 pieces were used- stained and full of crumbs. The lady on the phone was appalled for us and didn't know how we ended up with "retired" pieces. She rushed us out 3 new pieces. I went to the store in person to talk to the associate who had helped us. The manager directed her on how to handle the situation from the back of the store but never once came over to apologize or try to fix the situation. After another miscommunication about the delivery date, they finally came. The pillows on the one couch seemed too small and were causing a huge gap. I guess they didn't think what I was saying was possible so they sent someone to our house to look. She agreed they were indeed too small and multiple casings needed to be remade. She was going to expedite me fabric samples so I could make sure the new gray matched the old. Weeks passed and no samples showed up. I reached out again only for the concierge to be stunned that they never showed up. She was going to expedite me a new set. In the mean time my daughter just happened to have an accident on the couch so I opened up the one pillow to dry it out only to find out that all of my pieces were filled with down feathers (my migraines made sense all of the sudden). They are now remaking all 4 pieces of furniture in our house, which is lovely, but now I'm stuck with 4 feather pieces In my house. They emailed me an ETA for the new couches but said it would probably be sooner so they would update me the next week with an update ETA. After 2.5 weeks passed, I reached out myself and got no answer. After 3 weeks passed, I reached out to someone higher up only to find out the ETA had not been moved up, but delayed yet again. They have done nothing to accommodate us or make up for all of the mistakes and miscommunications. I've gotten nothing but excuses on why I was never updated and why things didn't show up. Excuses as to why my couches all have feathers. I've been in retail/customer service for over 15 years and this is by far the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. You couldn't pay me to recommend Arhaus to someone I know, yet along a stranger. read more

The dining table we received is not well made - don't buy. The warranty - worry free protection is a joke, ask for the underwriting and they will send it to you. There are not enough coats on the finish (Tuscany table, i think) so when my son did his home work the pencil marks went right though the paper into the finish. Either it needs several more coats of finish or it is made with a really soft wood. We also had many problems with delivery of the item when several of the attempted deliveries of this table were unsuccessful because the table was cracked. read more

I'm surprised the read some of the complaints on Yelp about Arhaus at Tysons Corner. Years before my husband and I met he had purchased a sectional sofa from Arhaus for his family room. After we got married we wanted to refresh the house and we moved the 9 year old Arhaus sectional sofa to the basement. The sectional after 9 years still looks great and the sofa is very comfortable. Because we considered the quality and durability of the sectional sofa excellent we had no hesitation purchasing a new sofa from Arhaus for our family room. The new sofa took about 12 weeks to arrive as was explained to us due to a custom fabric. Stacey at Arhaus helped us with the new sofa purchase and has since helped us pick chairs, a coffee table, end table, a lamp and pillows for the family room. She has great taste and is not pushy at all. Some pieces I've picked for the family room have also been from other furniture stores and she is always happy if we find a piece we love regardless of where the item was purchased from. My husband and I also do not always see perfectly eye to eye in furniture pieces and Stacey always finds pieces we can both agree on. She has a true gift for decorating and has been a pleasure to work with. read more

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ARHAUS! THERE ARE OTHER FURNITURE STORES WITH MUCH BETTER SERVICE! Arhaus has lovely home furnishing that are not cheap. However, you may be kept waiting months and months for what you order. I ordered six chairs in September (in plenty of time for the holidays) that had a 6-8 week delivery time (they had to be upholstered and that seems like an excessive amount of time for that since I had my entire living suite reupholstered in two weeks). I also ordered a table that is sitting in my dining room without chairs. Hard to use that way. As of December 24, I still have not received the chairs and no one from Arhaus ever calls me with updates. After calling them in November, I was told they were supposed to be into the warehause last week. Yet no word from Arhaus. I have just called them again and just learned that the chairs are now scheduled to be ready January 11. This is totally ridiculous. Seems like once they get your money, they don't worry about you getting your product. Not a way to run a company if you ask me. read more

After reading previous reviews, I'm afraid I'll have to further downgrade this review after my delivery experience (expected in about a month). For now, just rating the customer service experience. Basically, they have great online chat options and can be very helpful in helping you purchase an item. But that's the end of it. Absolutely no communication at all for four months...making you wonder if you actually did order it in the first place. And when I reach out with questions, no apology or offers of additional information. I have to coax timeframe estimates out of them. This is ridiculous. If the delivery is nearly as bad as the others reviewing, it's Room and Board for me every time. read more

We looked at Arhaus and dreamed about owning a Sofa from there for several years, after finally making the decision here is what we got. The delivery drivers finally arrived with our couch and a dresser we had waited on for several weeks, after them telling us that we could not pick it up ourselves, and of course you have to pay the price for their delivery, they told us that's the only way they work because they like to set everything up the right way. First they ask to use our restroom and it was quite embarrassing actually because they took quite a while, our home smelled like them and their cigarettes. Then they attempted to bring in our dresser after 20 minutes in our restroom, by attempted i am saying they damaged our hardwood floors. These delivery guys were not professional, very hard to talk to and made it clear they were there to get unloaded and off to their next stop. Then they placed our couch on one end in the middle of the blacktop road, staining one end and somehow damaging a cushion. Upon calling and complaining, we just received our 2nd couch to replace the damaged one. The weather is nasty wet, cold etc....They walk in our living room with their nasty, wet shoes, I would say ruining our living room rug and leaving our hardwood a mess. Then they leave and about 10 minutes later come back to my door and tell me they hit my parked car in the driveway, drug it about 6 feet down the road. I will never do business with these people again, what a nightmare they have put us through over 2 pieces of furniture we wish we had never laid eyes on. read more

So, it's been a looooong path to this review. What I will say is I love the designs and the beauty of the things in the store and because of that I may potentially order from them again BUT know this and know it well - their process for delivery on time is nil, delivery for all of the pieces promised nil, and showing up when they agree to nearly nil. I have made several purchases from the store - a customized table which as I write I am awaiting delivery for AGAIN because THIS time the custom made table top (made of zinc) was not wearing correctly and apparently they had a batch with problems so this is an exchange - delivery was 1pm to 5pm, almost 7pm not a word and no answer from the delivery people, when I called the store at 5pm I was told they were behind but still coming but no indication thus far. The 1st trip for the table - the table was smashed, 2nd delivery they only delivered the pedestal!!!! 3rd time still not here!!! When I ordered custom bed it was late, custom table was late, ordered huge candle vases - smashed on arrival, had to go through shipping other one back to get the exchange. Sooo, once again I am disappointed with respect to the customer service and delivery. It is difficult to step away as their products (overall) are lovely and different then many places you can find you just have to sincerely be able t o deal with casualities in shipping and long ass waits and overall unreliability. read more

Nice interesting furniture, BUT too bad I can never shop there again. There delivery service is an absolute nightmare! Against my better judgement, i decided to give Arhaus another chance, even though everything I have ordered from them has been delivered severely damaged requiring an incredible hassle to resolve. Then, there was the time I ordered a large entertainment center from them, and the guys sent to deliver and assemble it had no idea how to do it. I had to have a friend come help them, while the deliverymen complained about being tired and at work. Well, here we go AGAIN. After 12 weeks of waiting for a sofa i received a call from the delivery service that the sofa fabric was slashed when they opened it. He told me he talked to Arhaus and was told they had another one ready to be delivered in a coupe days, which, of course, isn't true because there is a 12 wait. The worst part is I have no confidence that the new sofa will come in good shape, and my other choice is to have their low-level repair people repair what's supposed to be a brand new expensive sofa. I am beyond frustrated and done with this company. They absolutely know that their delivery service is subpar, but they continue to use them. read more
