There's a car wash right next to the gas station and they have free vacuums you can use if you get a car wash. The place looks nice, and I'll definitely come back, but I'm hoping they can sort out the issue where you can pay outside with a debit card and still get the cash/debit price outside instead of having to go inside to get the lowest advertised price. If you end up paying with a debit card at the pump you are going to be charged the credit price not the debit/cash price which is 10 cents more per gallon. That was the only thing that bothered me because I prefer to fuel up and then head out without waiting.

Bought an XXL Coke Zero (one of the few convenience stores to have it), a corn dog, and cheeseburgers. Unfortunately, there were no packets of condiments, but they had bottles and trays of add-ons. They did have small condiment cups but no lids to take on the road. Store was clean and cashier was busy but efficient. Good selection of fountain drinks and coffee flavors. Arco is the only gas station with one of my fav coffees, the Cafe de la Hoja.

A month ago, I took a propane tank there to exchange. I left the tank outside, walked inside and told the girl behind the counter that I had a propane tank to exchange. She told me she didn't understand. So I spoke slow and clear and said I had a propane tank I wanted to trade in. Again she didn't understand. So I took her outside, told her this one is mine. I want to give you this one, take one from inside the cabinet and you charge me. She said she didn't understand and she couldn't do that! What do you mean you can't do that. You can't do that or you don't want to do that?? Last night was the final straw with this place! 8:55PM I pull into the station to get gas! I noticed the lights on the inside of the store are almost completely off and a worker is walking around on the inside. I stick my 76 credit card into the pump and go to start pumping and it won't pump gas. Now it asked for my zip code, what gas I wanted, if I wanted a receipt EVERYTHING but wouldn't pump gas. Another gentlemen had the same issue. We walk up to the door, she opens the door a tiny bit and says they are closed! It isn't even 9PM yet. We said we didn't mind the store is closed but it isn't pumping gas. The worker then said she turned the pumps off! You did what??? She sat there watching us at the pumps and doesn't say a single word.... However, my biggest issue is since when does a gas station turn off the pumps at a station?? Especially before 9PM at night? It has a gas station which has rates at about $.10 less per gallon then the other local gas stations. We almost always stop here when heading east. The attendance are polite and friendly. Their fountain Coca-Cola is one of the better mixes. One nice thing about this 7-Eleven is at the other customers are generally friendly.

This isn't my preferred exit - I like the other one with In N Out and Star Casino but that one doesn't have a Chevron. For as long as I can remember we always stopped in Tracy. They used to have this restaurant Orchards - with special home made apricot syrups to put on your French Toast that was to die for. Thats gone now turned into Black Bear diner. Leaves the problem of finding that new perfect routine. One of my routines is to aim for Chevron fuel. German cars can be finicky and if an engine light turns on it can be like diagnosing one of Dr House's patents. I don't need that. Prices were ok and receipt printed at the pump so no need to walk inside. I feel like most gas stations out there are like Black Bear diner. Just bla. Chevron feels more distinguished like Orchards. Call me crazy but maybe I'm just a sucker for the advertisements with all the happy little cars zooming around. If your traveling between Sacramento and the Bay this is a great place to stop. Right off the freeway. No who ha. One light... Wonderful neighbors of interest. Lots of places to eat fast and even a fine gaming institution next door. They have some fine Italian Cypress on either side of the entrance and you'll feel as important as Augustus Caesar when you walk through the front doors. In my lifetime I never thought I'd see gas over $5 a gallon. $5.399 to be precise. The total out the door cost for 3/4 of a full tank? $94.33. This is lunacy. The area outside was clean and free of debris and its location is right at the on and off-ramp for freeway access on Tracy Boulevard; one of the main roads in this town. I did not need to go inside to pay which I appreciated and the receipt machine built into the pump worked & wasn't empty like so many are anymore this I also appreciated.
