I don't know where that came from, and I found it very ridiculous that he treated the next woman in line who was quite frankly and litetally... dressed in a cheetah shirt with hair & makeup like a... politely... whereas he treated me, who is dressed in a turtleneck zip-up sweater, a hat, and a mask with such contempt and disrespect. He is South Asian with a beard, the woman in a cheetah shirt is white, and I am a Southeast Asian woman in appearance. I wonder what sort of biases might have influenced that very unpleasant interaction. I felt upset enough to ask him this question as I left the store: "Do you know what the name Christian means and what Christians stand for? Why are you so rude and disrespectful?" as the name for the pick-up order was "Christian" (although, I have no idea if they are true Christians or not). I will avoid this store. I hope he gets some feedback from his manager. Maybe he will take a minute or two to reflect.

They did have small condiment cups but no lids to take on the road. Store was clean and cashier was busy but efficient. Good selection of fountain drinks and coffee flavors. Some places like to close around midnight but it seems they keep their store open late which is a big plus. There's a car wash right next to the gas station and they have free vacuums you can use if you get a car wash. The place looks nice, and I'll definitely come back, but I'm hoping they can sort out the issue where you can pay outside with a debit card and still get the cash/debit price outside instead of having to go inside to get the lowest advertised price. If you end up paying with a debit card at the pump you are going to be charged the credit price not the debit/cash price which is 10 cents more per gallon. That was the only thing that bothered me because I prefer to fuel up and then head out without waiting.

Having recently moved to the area and registered with a new doctor to get prescriptions refilled I requested to have them sent here as they're so easy to get refills. One simple phone call, make a couple of selections on an automated service and voila! All done and ready for you to collect within a couple of hours. So easy even a Monkey could do it. The guy that was serving today was awesome. He noticed that the preventative Asthma pump the Doctor had prescribed was not covered on our insurance (also not the one I was prescribed by my old Doctor) so he immediately suggested him calling them and adjusting it to one that was saving me $200! Now how many places are likely to do that? They also do Vaccinations here and is well worth coming for Flu Vaccinations every year. Appointments recommended but not always necessary.

It seems like these days social media is full of stories about customers and employees clashing, so when you get genuinely great service, it deserves to be recognized. Rhoda, thank you for your wonderful attitude and for taking care of us right up until closing. This is exactly why I keep coming back to this Walgreens specifically instead of others. It's the closest gas station to Mountain House where I live, which is still 7 miles away and I am a fan of 76 so I go here. Getting in and out of this place is easy and getting back on the freeway is a breeze. You won't be blown away by the appearance of the place and yes the restrooms need a remodel or something like that. The convenience store is fine and spacious and will get you whatever you need from your gas station shopping trip quickly and easily and the gas prices tend to be a little better than those in Tracy. Now keep in mind that fact that you see wind farms close by should clue you in that this place is windy and in a windy spot so beware when you open your door, especially in the winter. BTW, the quality of the gasoline is fine and my car will generally easily go 400 miles after I get out of here.

I've been to this location several times when I'm in the area. I've honestly have not had a problem shopping here at least 10 times in the past 5 months. The shelves always seem stocked, the "on sale / promotional" items are usually tagged. There's always a clerk at the register in case you dont want to deal with the self check station. Store seems well organized and it's pretty easy to find what you're looking for. There's also plenty of room between the isles so even when it's busy, it doesnt seem that crowded. Outside of the store, the area and parking lot seem safe. Only problem I see is that they're closed by 10pm. Which sucks if you're planning on going on a last minute alcohol run. Where I'm from, there's a CVS that's open 24 hours that's about 2 miles from where I live & I'm usually hitting it up around midnight or 1am for 1 last beer run.
