Some places like to close around midnight but it seems they keep their store open late which is a big plus. There's a car wash right next to the gas station and they have free vacuums you can use if you get a car wash. The place looks nice, and I'll definitely come back, but I'm hoping they can sort out the issue where you can pay outside with a debit card and still get the cash/debit price outside instead of having to go inside to get the lowest advertised price. If you end up paying with a debit card at the pump you are going to be charged the credit price not the debit/cash price which is 10 cents more per gallon. That was the only thing that bothered me because I prefer to fuel up and then head out without waiting.

In my lifetime I never thought I'd see gas over $5 a gallon. $5.399 to be precise. The total out the door cost for 3/4 of a full tank? $94.33. This is lunacy. The area outside was clean and free of debris and its location is right at the on and off-ramp for freeway access on Tracy Boulevard; one of the main roads in this town. I did not need to go inside to pay which I appreciated and the receipt machine built into the pump worked & wasn't empty like so many are anymore this I also appreciated.

It also has a car wash, where if you purchase one, then you will get some money off the cost of your gas per gallon. The is also a rewards system you can sign up for additional discounts. I was able to save my car wash code which printed out on the receipt at the pump. I didn't have to go in at all. Also, the code is good for a few months so I was able to save it for a future use. I thought the car wash was good too, although it would be nice if it had buckets of soapy water and large brushes before entering the car wash. They have this at another car wash I frequent, and I like to use it to give my rims, front and rear bumpers and windows a pre-scrub.

They did have small condiment cups but no lids to take on the road. Store was clean and cashier was busy but efficient. Good selection of fountain drinks and coffee flavors. Arco is the only gas station with one of my fav coffees, the Cafe de la Hoja.
