Bought an XXL Coke Zero (one of the few convenience stores to have it), a corn dog, and cheeseburgers. Unfortunately, there were no packets of condiments, but they had bottles and trays of add-ons. They did have small condiment cups but no lids to take on the road. Store was clean and cashier was busy but efficient. Good selection of fountain drinks and coffee flavors. Arco is the only gas station with one of my fav coffees, the Cafe de la Hoja.

A month ago, I took a propane tank there to exchange. I left the tank outside, walked inside and told the girl behind the counter that I had a propane tank to exchange. She told me she didn't understand. So I spoke slow and clear and said I had a propane tank I wanted to trade in. Again she didn't understand. So I took her outside, told her this one is mine. I want to give you this one, take one from inside the cabinet and you charge me. She said she didn't understand and she couldn't do that! What do you mean you can't do that. You can't do that or you don't want to do that?? Last night was the final straw with this place! 8:55PM I pull into the station to get gas! I noticed the lights on the inside of the store are almost completely off and a worker is walking around on the inside. I stick my 76 credit card into the pump and go to start pumping and it won't pump gas. Now it asked for my zip code, what gas I wanted, if I wanted a receipt EVERYTHING but wouldn't pump gas. Another gentlemen had the same issue. We walk up to the door, she opens the door a tiny bit and says they are closed! It isn't even 9PM yet. We said we didn't mind the store is closed but it isn't pumping gas. The worker then said she turned the pumps off! You did what??? She sat there watching us at the pumps and doesn't say a single word.... However, my biggest issue is since when does a gas station turn off the pumps at a station?? Especially before 9PM at night? Not to mention you leave the lights on at the pump to make it look like you are open....

I waited patiently as there was a family in line ahead of me…read more When it was my turn to talk to the cashier to pick up an order, he was very rude and disrespectful. I don't know where that came from, and I found it very ridiculous that he treated the next woman in line who was quite frankly and litetally... dressed in a cheetah shirt with hair & makeup like a... politely... whereas he treated me, who is dressed in a turtleneck zip-up sweater, a hat, and a mask with such contempt and disrespect. He is South Asian with a beard, the woman in a cheetah shirt is white, and I am a Southeast Asian woman in appearance. I wonder what sort of biases might have influenced that very unpleasant interaction. I felt upset enough to ask him this question as I left the store: "Do you know what the name Christian means and what Christians stand for? Why are you so rude and disrespectful?" as the name for the pick-up order was "Christian" (although, I have no idea if they are true Christians or not). I will avoid this store. I hope he gets some feedback from his manager. Maybe he will take a minute or two to reflect.

I was at Kaiser for an appt, and this is the closest one to the medical offices. Came in since I hadn't had lunch yet and ordered 3 hotdogs. I was a bit surprised that instead of purring the dogs in the buns, he put all 3 hotdogs in 1 box. He started to walk towards the register without the buns. He must have realized it and came back and grabbed the individually wrapped buns and took them to the register I wasn't feeling well , so I just grabbed some condiment packets even though I wanted to add the onions, tomatoes, and pickles that they have available. The employee that served me never said a work except for saying what the total was. Not very friendly.Didmt say hi or welcome when I walked in. There are 3 7elevens here in Tracy, and this seems to have the least welcoming staff.

It's always significantly cleaner than other gas stations at their price point 2. Shopping reward credits (Duh) 3. They have diesel at every pump! Not all stations have that and when you drive something as big as I do it's so nice to have options. 4. I've also never rolled up where it's been so busy that I'm waiting for a pump. I can always drive right in and out. One day when electric trucks are finally an option (should be soon!) I'll likely convert. Until then... places like the Safeway Gas station are my friend!

Anyways, I go here because I know they accept Amex and I use Amex for gas because i get 4x the points. The area here, in my opinion is a bit sketchy. I get afraid to get gas alone. One time I had a stare down with some dude walking near...just being suspicious. I wish the gas convenience shop was located on the other side where the gas stations would be in clear view to passing traffic (as most stations are). Instead the gas stations are a bit hidden behind the shop so it feels a bit less safe.
