I popped open my hood, and I think a houseless person offered to help me put oil in my car. I had to buy more oil from inside, the employee working the front helped me get the correct oil. The other man helped me put it in my car.... after I bought the man a beer and a smoke, and he asked me for a hug..... I kindly declined and moments after, the employee came out to check on me and my car. I had my kids with me and it was dark, so I did appreciate the gentleman for his decency. The employee also used a code reader to see what was going on with my lights. I took a picture to show my mechanic. I don't think those small acts of kindness should go unnoticed.

CHECK YOUR GAS AND WHAT YOU PAY!!!! After putting $60 gas in my empty tank and although the pump…read morewas generating an amount I immediately noticed my gas gage did not move. I informed the attendant who right away try to tell me my gas gage was broken. I pulled forward to the next pump and put the same amount to show the attendant that my gage is not broken (as the pump next to it worked properly and it had reflected the correct amount of gas as well as the pump reflected the correct charge) I put the same amt again $60. I showed him I was charged both times by allowing him to view my online statement. I was told by the attendant that I would recieve a call that he would look into it with the manager and to leave my number. I did not get a call so I went in to follow up and I left my number again and was told again I would get a return call. No return correspondence in any form. I went again and the same attendant was there this time and right away, again, try to tell me my gage was broken. He completely disregarded that any there was no attempt made to resolve the matter. Then he attempted to disregard me entirely by trying to address my husband and speak to him. The interesting part is that my husband was not present at any point up until now nor had spoken to him at any point so I asked him why he was speaking to my husband when I am the customer and I am the one inquiring about resolving the over charge. He completely try to ignore me and adress my husband as 'boss'. As if I some how immediately just poof vanished? My husband had to then redirect to address me and he then attempted to claim to have returned a call and leave a voice mail as well as claim my gas gate was broken. Not worth my time... For $60. ... I live in the community and will not contribute my consumer $ or recommend.

I just ended up here just before lunch and there's a ton of Costco members here. Yeah, you have to be a member here and get you card scanned to enter, even just for the food court or doing a return or something. It's way worth it to be an Executive Member to get in earlier at 9am at most Costco locations. I'm not shopping for anything in particular, I just wanted to see what kinds of products this location in Manteca offered, as most Costco vary in the specialty item like food stuff, depending on the location and the customer base. I know the Bay Area East Bay Costco have a lot more Asian food stuff you don't see at more rural Costco, like the one on Redding where I live. The store is organized and sort of laid out like most Costco's with the meat and produce and paper products all the way in the back. This looks like an OK Costco with all the standard stuff and TV's and computers.
