So many gas stations don't have decent bathrooms. I have to give a shout-out to those that do. Flying J had multiple clean, stocked women's rooms. Also plenty of snacks, drinks and the store is bright and clean. I absolutely love it! I'm usually a little wary of self-checkout (possibly it's user error), but here it was quick and easy to scan a few items, add my gas purchase, and get out very quickly. Something to be aware: it's a little farther off the freeway than some other options, and the outside pumps weren't allowing payment (not sure if that's temporary or what) so you have to walk inside. I strongly advise not parking here. My car was nearly towed for no valid reason. I arrived around 10:40 PM and change my tennis to slip-on, When I about get out car to grab food and use the restroom, the security guard approached me and told me I needed to leave or they would tow my vehicle. she claimed I had been parked there since 5/23/2026 8:00 PM the night, which is impossible -- I was at work in Placentia until 9:30 PM. Great prices, tap to pay didn't work. Receipt printed at the pump. Newer facility and store attached. This is a major truck stop not too far from the main highway. Its a good place to stop and I had no major issues. I do prefer Chevron but I suppose from time to time its ok to get the more budget type gas. I didn't go into the store - I had no reason to. Just driving through. I don't remember if there was an extra charge for use of credit card. read more

I think I found the worst Pilot Flying J. As a longtime supporter of this company I was disappointed with my visit to this location. Fountain drinks were all out of syrup, the crushed ice machine was empty, and when I asked for a burger the cashier pointed to a box where prepackaged burgers were being kept warm for who knows how long. I love Pilot Flying J's. I'm a good Sam member & love my loyalty discounts. The only reason for the 3 stars is that the "lot is narrow", so it's a little more difficult to get a pickup & cargo trailer lined up for the gas pumps. My wife and I stopped at the St George flying J. My wife and I had a long trip and both were very aggravated tired and stressed. Upon arriving we met a young lady by the name of Key she was so pleasant so respectful manful and very helpful. She actually reminded us of why we took this trip in the first place which was to see more of the world and meet more people from different cultures backgrounds.. After taking a shower here (showers are huge and clean by the way) I walked out to sit near the restaurant and smelled something good and decided to order after seeing they were actually cooking with pots and pans. Hands down one of the best meals that I've had at any truck stop in the country. After tasting the pot roast, Mac n cheese and Broccoli... especially the broccoli. Truck driver... you have 10 minutes to get into your shower. You miss your shower. There are 5 ppl behind you. You go in the store to say, 'I missed my shower.' Priscilla puts you in the front of the line and pushes the 5 ppl waiting 15-29 minutes behind plus the 10 we already waited... this apparently is protocol.. across the nation, I have never heard of this, I missed my shower once! And was sent to the end of the line... maybe if this is done, we will be taught a lesson to be more responsible and take showers seriously. time is of the essence for truckers who do follow your protocol.... we make money by the mile not by the hour, how is this ok? Why isn't the irresponsible truckers not waiting at the end of the line? Reset their shower and put them to the end of the line... make it make sense ppl... Some might say, well, if you're taking a shower then you have time to wait..... well the line will never go down if you're constantly resetting missed showers making ppl wait longer. Ijs one missed shower can push each person back Atleast 30 minutes plus! Update 1 hour later from the reset. My shower is ready, I go and punch in my information... someone is sitting on the toilet.... wow!!!!! Now I go to the front. No showers are ready, two ppl are behind me waiting even longer now for a shower. So, what a co-winky-dink. You reset the shower, give me a shower an hour later, the shower is taken, you now have 4 ppl waiting in your lobby for a damn shower because you all don't have any form of common sense. Ridiculous! Ive been driving for 4 years and as long as I can remember the showers were always cleaner than Loves for example. However, thats not the case anymore. Just tonight there was someone else's HAIR!! on the shower walls! Every single shower I go to has White Grime on the shower head and handle. Ive taken tissue paper and soap and wiped the grime off myself. The toilet is never fully cleaned, looks like they just do a quick wipe down to get the next truck driver in!! Even though the store itself is clean and staff is friendly I can't seem to recommend this place if you need to fuel due to the fact that some truck drivers always park their vehicles and take over 30 min to 1 hr to fuel their trucks sometimes. They park go to the restroom and do other stuff while taking up the fuel station and making everybody else behind them wait until they decide to finally fuel and they are not considerate of other drivers that just need to fuel and go. Let's be courteous to one another as truck drivers, let's fuel and then pull up for other truckers that need to fuel while we go do other things in the store just like the signs on the fueling stations say. read more

This pilot is the worst when it comes to showers. They have always had 5 or more showers open but they are waiting to always be cleaned. I understand it gets busy. But some of us drivers who don't like to sit and like to get a real paycheck don't want to sit for 2 hours for a shower to be cleaned. I hope many others get the hint and put there comment. This is by far the worst pilot/flying J In the West. Not only is it very small but it has the worst quality food imo. It also is terrible for showers no matter what time u go. I am a trucker and I'm at this location often as well as others but this particular location never ever has showers ready. Instead of maintaining clean showers they just wait until they have a line of 4 or 5 ppl until they decide to get off their asses and start cleaning the dam showers. I've waited over an hour with just 2 ppl waiting for showers. I was the only one another time and waited over a half hour. I realize they are busy but dam. Every other Pilot I'm in the shower within minutes of getting my receipt because they have showers ready. At most Iv waited less than 10 min at other locations even with 4 or 5 ppl in front of me. I have been using Flying J all over the United States for more than a decade. I was excited that there was to be a station near my home in San Joaquin County. I would normally go to Ripon to fill up. The new station in Lathrop can not refill the reciepts at the pump. I need the receipt for reimburcement and taxes. Each time (weekly) I have to go in side to pick up my reciept. Enough is enough - It might seem like a small thing but my time is valuable - it adds a good 5 minutes a trip. read more

I literally come here all the time and I have always had great experiences until today. I live a couple minutes away and when I left my house I had a low tire so I went to flying j like I have many times before to get air. I asked them to turn the air on and waited a few minutes and it wasn't on. I was in a hurry so I thought I guess I'll just pay for it. So I tried to use my card in the machine and it would not work so I went back in and asked them again to turn it on. This time I asked the manager who is usually very nice except this time his response was.. "did you get fuel today? Free air is for fueling customers only." I said.. I'm about to... and he replied, you have to get fuel first. So I just walked out and left to the fast lane down the street where they politely turned the air on for me. I was really bothered because I am a paying customer there all the time and when I needed help I was rudely treated like I was asking to get free products... it's freaking air! read more
