Something to be aware: it's a little farther off the freeway than some other options, and the outside pumps weren't allowing payment (not sure if that's temporary or what) so you have to walk inside. I even noticed on the receipt that he did it for all the items. I politely asked him if he can do a price check and he wouldn't want to. I understand if they were having a bad day or whatever was happening, but for them to pretty much scam us, was not okay. I just got gas on Friday and it was $5.14 and now it's $5.25. I couldn't belive it and that was the cheapest gas according to google maps. We did op for the 2nd truck stop on the route as it had cheaper gas even though we really wanted to take a break sooner. As for buying gas they new have a kiosk to pay for your gas if you are using cash. It must be super efficient during busy times a day, especially since paying with cash is cheaper then paying with car. On the other hand I have a feeling from looking at the pumps that cash and card are the same price. Anyway we used cash this time to ensure we got the best price. The kiosk experience was seamless and I was able to fill up the take before he even left the store as it popped up that $35 was prepaid on the pump. Thankfully we were at half a tank so that filled it up without hitting our pockets too hard. Before you walk into their minimart you can see they sell Cinnabon as they advertise on the door. Then as soon as you walk in you are totally overcome with the sweet smell of cinnamon rolls. Yummy!!! I love cinnamon rolls. I browsed their offerings. They had 2 pans of their standard cinnamon rolls and then they had some exotic creations. Not my thing, but if you are into jazzing everything up then these are for you. They also sell a new product, cinnamon roll centers. I'm not sure how those vary from their regular cinnamon rolls. In the end I didn't get any as I was full from lunch. One thing that caught my eye were the extra long charging cables. They were like 3 or 4 feet long. Who doesn't need one of those?! I love most truck stops. For the most part their gas is cheaper than standard alone gas stations. In addition they are the perfect snack, browse, and bathroom stop. They always have clean restrooms with plenty of stalls. The one truck stop that has gas 20 cents over the stand alone gas stations is the truck stop near my house. I filled up once and as I was driving home I passed by 3 other gas stations and was dismayed that I was charged 20 cents more the the independent gas stations. Never again will I buy gas there.
