When I arrived in town five years ago, I remember stopping here to buy sodas for everyone who helped me with my apartment, as it was just down the street from Wienerschnitzel, where we stopped for lunch. The fountain soda was nasty, and the old man behind the counter told my buddy not to sample the drinks. Obviously, if someone sampled the drinks, they'd have found how they were being cheated by poor calibration of the mixture. A couple of months ago, I moved into the area, and this is close enough that I have visited a few times for the ATM, and for drinks. I got a lot of frowns when I entered, and worse when I went to the ATM. Things weren't much better when I bought items, but the truth is--convenience stores in Manteca are often like this, and the whole of Central Valley has plenty more not so different. Quik Stop on N. Main Street is the exception. As usual, check dates when possible because staff isn't doing it for you. Grocery stores are often just as bad. I am having a party today and last minute I depended on the 7/11 near my home. I went to swap my propane. And it felt empty. Sure beats Starbucks nasty coffee and plus I'm not sure of her name but the skinny Mexican lady that works here in the morning is very nice and keeps the place clean and customer appealing compared to the other employees that work here. Went in to grab a soda and some gas, even tho it's more expensive there. It's close so I go, management is usually pretty rude but whatever. So I go, grab my soda and gas, pay and walk out - No gas. Go back in to find out they only have premium. I said I didn't want it, and would like a refund because nothing was mentioned before hand. They refused 3 times, finally a woman came over it was very visible she was annoyed, rolled her eyes and signed after a few more minutes stating I just wanted a refund and would get 87 somewhere else she said she refunded me. No refund on my card, but I walked out because of the poor service. Both were rude but that younger woman should not be working in customer service. Sorry I won't be back. read more

Very Disappointed service by sales person "Happy". I went there to buy coffee and goods but place is looks dirty. Only one person operating whole store. i was waiting on counter for 5 minutes and he was busy making pizza without gloves. I am sure that food is also unhealthy at this place but still hungry people eat daily. Store Manage is also not on duty and when i asked then i knew that she is working at different place and sometime came to visit.I recommend everyone to not go and buy goods and food from there.
