Yes, we all know new restaurants have to go through a period of adjustment as being "new" thus being said- I was there last week for a quick bite and I have to admit it did not gave the "new vibe" but rather the "they're crushing it vibe" decor spot on, chic & stylish, drinks DELISH! And food- the octopus was tender and cooked to perfection!!! Very few places actually nail the tenderness on an octopus- but they did! My only complaint was not staying there longer to try a dessert. read more

My husband and I came here on our honeymoon and had a lovely dinner prepared by Chef Kayla. The standouts for us were the carpaccio, the ravioli, and the octopus. Our server was very nice and attentive, she provided thorough details on the menu. Dessert by Chef Nguyen was also fabulous! The deconstructed tiramisu (the special of the night) was out of this world. The chocolate tort had a lot of interesting components but tasted good all together. The owner even comped our desserts for our special nice, which was a very sweet surprise. We look forward to coming back next time we're in town! read more

Save your time and money! After reading mostly good reviews of ARA we decided to give it a try since we live close by. Unfortunately, I have to be one of the few that give a bad rating but felt it was important to put it out there since I read some others were rushed also in their reviews. We had a 6:30 reservation and the place we maybe about half full if that. We ordered some wine while we looked at the menu. We decided on the squid and Turkish dumpling for or appetizer and Octopus and Lamb pizzo for our entrees. Our waitress took our order and shortly the appetizers were served. Both were OK but not spectacular. About halfway through our appetizers the entrees showed up which was only about 10 minutes after the apps came so we asked to give us some time. The server took both entrees back then the second we were done the plates were cleared and the entrees were served again. I again asked for a break between courses. Talk about getting slammed. I told the waitress this was not acceptable and wanted to see the manager and pay my bill. The manager came over and I politely explained what happened and how we were being rushed and all he had to say was that our app plates were cleared but didn't say anything beyond that to try to rectify the issues or want to make me stay and handed us the bill which I paid. There was a group of ladies sitting next to us who saw and heard the whole thing and as soon as the manager left they said he was very rude to us. On the way out I think it could be the owner, and he said let me get the door for you and as soon as we got out he said "Don't ever come back!" Total elapsed time in restaurant was 25 minutes. What a fine dining experience! At least they saved us another $150 -200 by not having our entrees more wine and dessert. A $100 for 2 apps and 2 glasses of wine. There are many other better choices in the area so don't waste your time and money. This restaurant will be another casualty as nothing last in this building read more

Beautiful restaurant with great ambiance and service, I had high hopes but our party of four left very hungry and ended up in another establishment down the road. The boys ordered the lamb chops (accompanied by dollop of a sauce), I had the chick dish which couldn't be more than 3 oz of plain chicken with cold couscous and my friend had the ravioli, the best tasting dish, we shared two appetizers . Went to try the restaurant for the first time for an early dinner on a Tuesday night. The place was EMPTY - and the two hostesses were so rude! Told us they couldn't seat us. Wanted to give us a high top right near to front door. As we decided to sit at the bar, we changed our mind as they were so rude and could care less whether we stayed or not. As we left I told them this was our first time visiting the restaurant and that it would also be our last, they could care less.... Awful service, awful attitude. read more

I can only give rave reviews from the prompt, attending Valet to the welcoming Hostesses, Maitre d', the polite and professional Servers; and the amazing Chef! Our food commenced with the perfectly cooked Wagyu NY Strip, Quinoa Salmon, Grilled Lamb Lollipops, Charred Octopus and Acqua Pazza. Extremely disappointed! Food was mediocre at best, not impressed at all. Started with the lamb dumplings that were hard pressed to give any flavor. The Caesar salad wasn't warm at all and lacked any taste, maybe a hint of anchovy and barely would feed one person. For the entrees which were, at best, looked like army rations that would have trouble sustaining life. The chicken was extremely bland, with no flavor profiles, nothing at all to excite the palate and the quinoa was cold. Also had the Octopus, which was a little over-cooked and again, lacked any flavor whatsoever. We were trying to figure out, as probably as much as they are, what there trying to accomplish, as well as who is their target audience. The food was not even close to being memorable, service was ok, but the restaurant was beautiful. Kudos to whomever designed the place. Hopefully someday, the food can catchup to the design and ambiance. May give it another try in six months, but for now, I would stay away until they can straighten out the kinks. Tried for the first time after hearing about the talent that went into this place. Sad to say we left disappointed. The portions were underwhelming at best for the price. The Bread and Zikki was four pieces of small Naan and a heavy tablespoon of Taziki sauce. The Lollipop Lamb Chops were very a hit with just the right amount of seasonings. We ordered three entrees, Salmon, Aqua Pazza (steamed fish) and the Ribeye. Don't get me wrong all the dishes were flavorful. But the Salmon was small the fish was about three onces. The kicker was the Ribeye. It was 1/2 inch thick about ten ounces and pre-Sliced. It was accompanied by two tiny onion rings, a heavy tablespoon of whipped potatoes and a quarter of a Portabella cap. We finished the entrees and my wife feeling disappointed decided to have desert at another location. Our conclusion was for the price you are much better served at the popular top Palm Beach Island restaurants such as Cafe Boulud,Henry's, or Buccan. Meat Market for steaks. Tonight was our first visit to Ara. We had no expectations but man! We were blown away. The menu is perfection with so many unique and interesting flavors. We had the Octopus and the Sea Bream. Every bite was exceptional. Dessert was another hit. Sweet corn ice cream on a chocolate torte was amazing and so unique. Our server,Charles, described the menu in such detail that everything sounded delicious and his recommendations were spot on. The service was impeccable.
