What they did best: Bread delicious, made in house, the calamari fritti, one of the best we have ever had. Perfectly cooked, crispy outside tender inside. My salad, the Limoncello was very good as well as my husbands, Arugula salad. There were large salads that could be shared by two. My Lychee martini was perfect. Not too sweet and the right amount of Vodka. Where they failed. I ordered the Branzino which is a special. At $44. The tomato sauce with Kalamata olives and capers was very salty. The Branzino was very thin and tasted previously frozen. Not fresh. I know what a good Branzino is supposed to taste like. And this was not it. My husband Veal Capra, also a special. Was two small pieces of veal loaded with a lemon sauce of artichokes, olives and tomatoes. He said it was OK, the portion was small for $48. The pasta options made be better. We did not order it.
