My husband said the father seemed to be very knowledgeable and honest when he came to quote. We paid the $1000 deposit and the start date was scheduled. Day one seemed to go well. However, from day two until the completion of the pool, their communication sucked. There were multiple days that they just didn't show up with no notification. We didn't hear anything until we reached out to them wondering why the no show. They claimed they had emergency jobs that pulled them away. We can understand that, but we would have liked a courtesy call. We had a scheduled date to get our house painted thinking that the pool work would be done, but due to all the missed days, it wasn't. So we pushed back the house painting a week. Come to find out, Coral Pool said we SHOULD get the house painted first. If we had better communication from them, we would have known not to push the painting back a week. Most communication was through text, which is fine, but this was not the experience we expected since they were so easy to work with in the beginning. Ultimately, the pool looks beautiful and everything seems to be running fine. I am pleased with the final out come. I am not sure if I would recommend.

Louie Mejia was our project manager, and he did an outstanding job from start to finish. He was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the process of selecting finishes and design details, making sure everything came together beautifully. He also recommended essential repairs and updates that needed to be addressed to ensure the final result was not only stunning but built to last. Thanks to his expertise and attention to detail, we now have an amazing new pool that exceeded our expectations. We really appreciated that Coral Pool and Spa is a family-owned company and that they do not subcontract their work. Instead, they have a specialized, in-house team for every aspect of the job. Every employee we interacted with was professional, skilled, and respectful. We also enjoyed working with Louie's dad, the owner, who was always available to answer our questions and make us feel confident in the process. We highly recommend Coral Pool and Spa to anyone looking to remodel their pool or build a new one. Their quality, integrity, and customer care truly set them apart.

He was very patient and answered all of our questions, not to mention offering lots of relevant information that we never would have thought of. We placed our order and the spa was delivered about a week early. The electricians that Jonathan suggested (JMC Electrical) did an amazing job as well. We went back today to buy some additional accessories, and Jonathan was more than happy to take the time to answer all of our noob questions. I highly recommend Paradise Valley Spas, and Sundance-brand hot tubs. We now own a nicer spa than I have ever been in elsewhere!

From initial installation to scheduled care to random maintenance, it's something out of a movie. Tonight put me over the edge. My daughter and her friends wanted to use the hot tub. It's been a 4yr circus with this company. Tonight, I had to disassemble the arm to open it (it was broken at one end and wouldn't open.) Then take the cover off and put it on the ground to let them all fit. Then, ask them to help me put the cover back on, and then reinstall the arm. I travel a lot so my return home and hot tub time is important to me. I also have a very bad lower back, so it is also therapeutic for me. Will post again when I get the timeline, service calls. And everything else listed. This hot tub is relatively new.

Their staff is knowledgeable and takes the time to make sure you understand what needs to be done, what was done, how to maintain your system, etc. This time I had Alan and Jose come out to do the repair. Not only did they diagnose it, but the guys also caught some problems and fix them proactively without an extra charge. While I was out of the country, a technician entered my property without permission - jumping a locked gate - and performed unapproved work (cleaning a pool filter). They then attempted to invoice $125 for that service. Worse, the pump - the original reason for the visit- was improperly sealed, causing the system to draw in air and putting the pump at risk of damage. This involves unauthorized entry, unapproved charges, and negligent workmanship, raising serious concerns under California law (Civil Code §1708, §1770(a)(9)). Avoid.

I recommend exercising caution when considering this company…read more I was retained by the client's insurance carrier to evaluate and repair a residential pool system following recent service performed by this business. Within a short period after their reported service, the system exhibited significant issues, including failed motors and a severe chemical imbalance. According to the client, the company had been servicing the pool for approximately two months. However, the condition in which the system was found required extensive repairs. The estimated cost of equipment damage alone is approximately $12,000, with the potential for additional damage to the solar heating system still under evaluation. I would also like to clarify an inaccuracy in the owner's response to the client's review. The owner stated that payments were made late; however, documentation provided to both myself and the insurance adjuster indicates that payments were made in a timely manner. The only initial delay occurred because the client was hesitant to prepay for services not yet rendered, particularly following prior scheduling changes before the first visit and again around the time payment was requested for what was described as a "green to clean" service. In addition, I reviewed video footage showing the time spent servicing the pool during multiple visits. Based on those observations, the level and duration of service performed did not appear consistent with the services billed. Additionally, there appeared to be a pattern of scheduling changes, same-day payment demands, and repeated service-related issues. During a subsequent visit following installation of replacement equipment, the client shared communications they received from an individual identified as the owner. Based on the nature of those communications, I advised the client to consider contacting appropriate authorities. The client also indicated they felt uncomfortable enough to remove a prior review and has since expressed concerns about their personal security, including considering additional measures such as installing security fencing. Of particular concern, the owner's public response to the client's review included posting the client's address and making remarks about animals on the property. This raised additional concerns for the client and contributed to a heightened sense of alarm. The client maintained detailed records, including text communications, video documentation, and payment history, all of which were reviewed and retained by the insurance carrier as part of its evaluation. I understand that this matter is being pursued through subrogation.
