We have used this plumber for multiple properties in the past, which made this experience…read moreespecially disappointing. A water heater failed after approximately four years. We were told it was out of warranty and that nothing was wrong, despite an active leak and recurring gas error codes even after multiple restarts. When we contacted the manufacturer directly, Rheem confirmed the unit was still under warranty. Because of this, we hired a different plumber and replaced the unit. We are now dealing with ongoing issues with the manufacturer regarding reimbursement for an identical replacement water heater. Communication during this process was poor, and we felt blamed for the issue rather than supported. In a text message exchange following the service, we were told we should "hire some other plumber" going forward and were referred to as "clowns." Screenshots of this exchange are available. Given our prior history with the company having done 2 water heaters and multiple plumbing repairs over $5000,, the handling of this situation and the tone of communication felt unprofessional. Overall, we were dissatisfied with how this was handled.
