Not often do I get the chance to apply somewhere. I've applied here and was called in for training. At that time i've applied to 2 locations and the other place started the hiring process but CR Fireline was already paying me for training. I figured I was already a part of them therefore I've dropped the other job. Big mistake since CR Fireline hired someone else to replace me during this process. My uncle referred me here mentioning it's a great job I can stay in for long term. I was told the reason was because they found someone that can do the job fulltime whereas i've applied for part time. If I knew I would've done fulltime. In getting our short term rental inspected by the fire department, they wouldn't accept the brand new extinguishers bought at a big box store, so I found CR Fireline! From initial call C R Fireline excelled. Larry answered and got my emergency of corroded, leaking pipe taken care of asap. He was friendly and wanted to take care of my situation! I later spoke with other staff members who were great and had the same attitude. When Martin & Damon came to fix the problem they, too were great. Returned home and found a small drip from one of my sprinkler heads. Contacted the alarm company, then a plumber. I was referred to, C R FIRELINE. Made the call and talked to Matt. He walked me through the water main and sprinkler water lines. He called first thing the next morning and came out to inspect the issue. The drip had stopped and we will schedule a replacement appointment later in the summer if the problem occurs again. Not only was Matt knowledgeable, and professional, the owner, Clarence, came out as well on his way to another matter. Great company and follow-through. read more

I arrived at CR Fireline at 3:50pm, 10 minutes before they were going to close shop. My mission: service/recharge/replace 2 old fire extinguishers. Kelly was on hand and immediately addressed what had to be done in the first minute: The first of the two extinguishers was missing it's pin and thus was 'garbage' (well not really, it was recycled by them for free). The second extinguisher was from 1993 and would end up being more expensive to recharge/service versus buying a new extinguisher - also recycled. Then began a longer conversation about how many I was looking for, whether it was for a home or business, how many floors are in the house (as it was for my home), whether I did work such as oil changes in the garage (ie. generated some fire hazards to deal with) etc.. She provided pro's and con's for all the products offered making clear what sort of protection and performance I would get. For example, getting a model without a hose means that someone may tip the extinguisher slightly onto the side to get into a tight spot (which could lead to you losing pressure within the entire system) rather than using a hose to better direct the apparatus. She explained maintenance clearly (the extinguisher I got is good to go for atleast 12 years but should be checked monthly) and suggested the same extinguisher model however with an aluminum valve since it wouldn't be mounted and knocked about, ultimately saving me $10 Parking was pretty straight forward right in front on the street (though others just pulled straight into the front of the lot). You can't really miss it as you drive by as it looks like a fire house really and has good signage. Finally payment was straightforward - Kelly gave me an invoice, I went upstairs through the double doors, gave the invoice to the person at the main desk with my credit card. I appreciated that she asked to see my ID (something many stores should do as the first line of defense against credit card fraud) and was all set and leaving with a fire extinguisher 10 minutes after my arrival. All in all, the staff at CR Fireline met our families needs, ensuring that we are prepared in the event of a small fire at our residence (our home burned down in the tragic 1991 Oakland Firestorm). Note 1: I am by no means an 'expert' on fire extinguishers. Read up yourself or seek their professional expertise when making your own purchases to protect your home, business and loved ones. Note 2: I was recommended to go here by Larry, the Service Advisor at the new Audi Concord dealership/service centre. They may not have had a phone book to find a place to replace my extinguishers but they knew the area well, and searched the web, finding an exact address to plug into my GPS in less than 2 minutes. This contrasts to Alex in the salesroom who looked at me blankly as I sought a yellow pages/phone book. I could not be more impressed with the customer service (Corrine), expertise (Lanny) and speed in which they addressed my problem. I have a residential sprinkler system required by code during a remodel that was installed by someone else about 11 years ago. The sprinkler heads were sagging way out of the ceiling and one had actually fallen to the ground and split. They came within a day of my call, screwed the heads back up, replaced the broken head, and reassured me all was well with my system. The price was better than fair! read more

as i walked into the shop im met by an old man in a bright white shirt. he claimed to be the owner but he didnt seem to be very intelligent. he kept saying "unamean"??? i was in the market for a sprinkler head. he was able to find the one i needed in his shop and sent me upstairs to pay for it. i was greeted by what had to be his loud mouthed daughter who was just as arrogant as he was. the sprinkler head was $175!!! after leaving i started to second guess myself so i stopped by another fire protection place. i got the same head for $18!!! i went back and saw "clarence the owner" and told him i got it way cheaper. he didnt seem to care but they did give me my money back. i work for a small buisness. its companies like cr fireline and people like clarence that make it hard to keep the doors open! read more
