They live up to their name!…read more I first had them out two years ago to clean my chimney before converting my fireplace to gas and they did a wonderful job. The technician recommended that I get the dryer vent cleaned next, which I delayed on due to other things that were needed. Last week I finally got around to scheduling the dryer vent cleaning, which was today. I was incredibly surprised when Allen showed up and after locating the vent outside, told me I didn't need it cleaned due to the short distance of the vent to the outside. How refreshing to deal with a company with such integrity. That's what I call living up to their name! Regarding the fireplace cleaning they previously did, their workmanship was great. The technician (Troy) cleaned up well when he finished and their prices are the best I found. I highly recommend them!

Our fireplace has an old insert, so our quote was $200. They gave me their cell number in their Yelp response and I texted back and booked my appointment for that same Thursday in a 12-4 window. They do offer Saturday appointments for an extra $25 to cover their technician's overtime who normally work M-F 40 hours per week, which I think is a pretty good option if I couldn't have taken time off during the week. That Thursday, I got a call from the technician saying he was on his way. Fifteen minutes later, he showed up at 2:30 and was very polite and neat. He was also friendly and accommodating to my dog who thought the technician was her new best friend. Around 45 minutes later, our fireplace and chimney were clean and he gave me the 411 on my fireplace, chimney and insert. I owed $200 as quoted and they accept checks, cash or credit cards. No Venmo or paypal. According to the inspection, my chimney was in decent shape but it was missing a few things. He also warned me that our insert was missing some key safety components and could be a fire hazard and why. This was important information we never knew about which gave us good food for thought. Now knowing the concerns, we may never use the insert again or have it removed completely so we can use our fireplace safely. The technician gave us quotes for some of the items he recommended that we need to get our chimney in good shape: 8x17 chimney cap - $95 Crown Repair - $140 Installing a clean out door - $150 Regarding our insert which had bigger problems: repairing door gasket and hinge pin (wouldn't completely solve the safety issues) - $150 Remove and take away insert - $200 This was an easy transaction with good work completed. Quick to schedule, available quickly, showed on time, gave me a report and quotes. Then all done in 45 minutes. Definitely recommended

We had a brand new three-ton AC unit installed along with planned HVAC system updates, with the…read moreexpectation that our airflow and temperature imbalance issues would be resolved in our 972 sq ft home. From the start, the process was confusing and did not inspire confidence. We were initially told the HVAC system would be replaced, but later informed that the space would not accommodate it as planned. The scope of work seemed unclear and ultimately was not completed as originally explained. Since installation, we have continued to experience significant temperature imbalance throughout the home. The living room becomes very cold, while the bedroom remains warm and uncomfortable--especially at night. This has been a consistent issue for the past year. Additionally, the system appears to be oversized for a home of this size. Installing a three-ton unit in a 972 sq ft space raises concerns about improper system sizing, which can lead to short cycling, poor airflow distribution, and uneven temperatures--exactly what we are experiencing. Communication has also been extremely frustrating. We have struggled to get clear answers or meaningful follow-up regarding these ongoing issues, despite raising concerns multiple times. We were recently informed that the project passed inspection, but passing inspection does not reflect real-world performance. A properly installed HVAC system should provide consistent comfort throughout the home, and that is not happening here. After a full year of unresolved issues, incomplete work, and lack of communication, we cannot recommend this company.

The problem is never fixed and they want more money but will discount the money that they already forced out of you. Dishonesty and misdirection is their main service. My home is still under builder warranty and I just needed someone for second opinion. Mark promised me free inspection. I specifically told him not to fix anything but just give me a quote and problem list with my gas fireplace. Sends a technician that has no certification or skills, talks over the phone walking the technician in Arabic. The technician tells me he fixed it, charges me $480, later to realize that the actual charge is $250. Fun part, he will only accept direct transfer via Venmo only for payment! Next time we use the fireplace, same problem. Mark tells me, upon contacting him, that there is another possible problem. But since I am a returning customer, instead of charging me $1200 to fix it, he will charge me only $780, and discount me another $250 that I already paid. Stay away from this company. Edit(03/06/2026) Your comment shows pure shrewdness and proves my suspicion of false promises and lack of professionalism and integrity. I have posted a picture of my conversation with you on yelp. And it's not 19 months old but a month old conversation for the work your incompetent technician did on November 2, 2025. Damaging my fireplace and stating that my review is false is very concerning and misleading. I hope no one else faces this. Let me know if you need more pictures of the work your company did and the damage bill from the builder.

After the 4 estimates we just didn't feel secure enough nor did we vibe with anyone in particular and the pricing was definitely up there after we had already put out money with the first roofer. This scope of work was new to me so I needed some hand holding and Brian was so patient with me. We had some delays on the client's end and Brian was incredibly professional, understanding and flexible. Once we we were able to get underway with the work, Brian and Nick worked tirelessly during the installation. I was impressed they took a lot of photos along the way to show the progress of the system. It only took a couple of days, and I was very impressed with the thorough testing they did after installation was complete. Any minor tweaks or adjustments were handled quickly and efficiently. They walked the client and I through how to use the pool pump and accessing the app with ease. All the neighbors looked on in envy so I'm hoping this is a service that homeowners in LA will look into. It's more affordable than one would think and a worthwhile service that you hope you never have to use, but will be grateful if you have it. There are a small handful of people offering this service in LA, I would encourage you to do your research, ask a lot of questions and compare estimates. I went with Brian largely because he was very direct and straightforward. He didn't try to "sell" me on a lot of bells and whistles like other vendors did. On the contrary, he explained those bells and whistles and gave sound reasoning why he wasn't on board with certain technology. But his biggest draw is he is an active firefighter and not only knows how things go down in a fire in terms of flighting it, but he'll tell you about where the water is coming from within the city and what you can and maybe cannot rely on from city resources, which is very important and sadly something we learned in the January 2025 fires. It's one of the reasons why we also went with the pool pump to help with additional water if need be to utilize our own resources at home. I'm happy to talk in detail about my experience, so don't hesitate to reach out to me.
