Mike is the best! Super professional and does quality work. He installed our mini split system for a competitive price as well.

What do you want in an HVAC guy? Honesty and skill. Mike has both. No attempt to upsell services we didn't need or want. Took care of our HVA issues for a fair price. read more

Thorough. Honest. Immediate response and accommodating for scheduling. We feel that price always matches service. Thanks Mike & Sandy!

I recently required the services of Crays Cooling Company.. I have a floor furnace that's at least 30 years old but still works beautifully.. I had a couple of questions about the size of the flame in the burner and suspicious looking marks on the pipe that exits through my roof. I made an appointment and Mike the owner and his helper Stewart appeared at my house within a day... he came in looked at my burner and said everything looked fine.. the flame... the size of the flame ..he said he saw no worries.... then he said where are these markings that are coming out of your pipe?... so we went outside and I pointed up and I said it's all that ....what's going on with that?.. I had read that if you see any markings on your pipe that it could be a backup that could cause carbon monoxide to enter your home... so I was afraid to use my heater... they both looked up and with straight faces both of them said it's bird shit.. ...we all started laughing ... we found there were no concerns at all. He did find a small section in my garage that connected to the box that was built around the burner did look rusty and falling apart so we made an appointment ...he showed up and started creating from a piece of sheet metal a connector box and piping.. he connected everything and my heater is working wonderfully!. He's very knowledgeable, reasonable rates, and just a really nice guy I will be going back to them if I have any issues.. I thought he was so cool that I actually baked him chocolate chip cookies! read more

I have been very pleased with the service Mike offers. He is always on time, checks all of the heating/ac system and makes necessary changes and/or repairs. In fact, if he finds something that was repaired by someone else, but was done incorrectly, he will fix that also. His services are also reasonably priced. Thanks Mike for a job well done! read more

Here l go reviewing again 2 1/2 years later. Still the best around. Called on a Sunday because furnace stopped working at daughters mobile. Mike Cray was there in less then an hour. Needed a small part which Mike ordered and the day it came in Mike was there to install. Also want to share that my neighbors heating system stopped working. They called a large Heating and air place that quoted 25,000. Said system was shot. I had them call Crays and again Mike was there to fix a loose wire. said system would last another 15 years. This is the kind of person that l want to service my air and heat. Thank you again Crays for a 5 star service read more

We called Cray's Cooling for a leaky unit. Mike diagnosed the issue as a damaged condensation line but his work was haphazard, only repairing part of the line. The next day we noticed there was leak coming from a different area and called to have him come back but we never got a call back after leaving multiple messages. It was disappointing. We found another company who completed the job and then some. read more

Mike's the man! Super knowledgeable, stellar craftsmanship and professionalism. Puts myself and family at ease knowing we have his uber services if and when we should need them again. Thanks again Mike and happy holidays! Frank's Dad! read more

We called Mike for a second opinion after another company came and said we needed our whole unit replaced. Mike was on time, explained what was happening, and that a part could be ordered (at cost) to repair the issue. He is honest, professional, and is more inclined to repair versus replace which is appreciated. Would absolutely recommend. read more

I wish I could give this company a million stars! We highly recommend Mike Cray of Crays Cooling Co for anyone with HVAC problems. We had three companies come out to get quotes to fix our AC and they said we needed to replace both our entire HVAC system. This would have put us out thousands of dollars. Mike Cray came over and took the time to do his own diagnostic rather than just giving a quote. He just fixed our AC!!!!!!! Not only did he fix it, he explained every step of the process to us. He is the most knowledge and honest man in his field! We will never call another air conditioning company. Absolutely blown away by Mike Cray. read more

Very speedy service. Mike was honest and addressed our issues with our AC quickly. I will definitely use him again if I have HVAC issues in the future! Sandy was also a pleasure to work with when scheduling etc. read more

Mike came out on the 4th of July to assess our non functioning A/C. He was professional, knowledgeable and FAIR. Did a great job and would recommend for any AC issues! read more

I called Cray's because I found them listed as a certified Fujitsu service company and I wanted a deep cleaning for my ductless system. I'm had hired a company about a year ago and the way they cleaned them just didn't seem to be as thorough as I had expected. Mike was on time and did a much better job; I could not only see the difference but there are now zero odors in the airflow and both units are running quieter. read more

We called Crays Cooling right before Labor Day weekend since our AC unit wasnt working very well. He mentioned it could be repaired but may only last a year or two so we opted to just go ahead and replace everything including the ducting which had been eaten through by rats. They started on it as soon as the equipment was in and worked through the holiday weekend! They even rat proofed the roof to prevent further infestation and recommend that we cut back any trees with branches touching the house. I would highly recommend Crays Cooling for all your HVAC needs! read more

As we were deciding which way to go with an A/C service, Mike was very helpful, informative, and knowledgeable about the options available. Crays got the job done with honesty, expertise and hard work. read more

Bailed on appointment for new AC and furnace. No call, no show up. Don't waste your time like I did.

Michael and Jessica are amazing! I was thoroughly impressed with their level of customer service, integrity, and commitment to quality. We had been misdirected by PG&E as to what the issue was with our heating system, so when we replaced the wrong thing on our furnace, Michael came back to fix it at no extra charge. Michael is extremely hard working and makes sure you know what's going on the whole time. He patiently explained everything to us, showed us the faulty circuit-board, and explained how the gas valve was supposed to work. He even offered discounts on air-filters and gave tips for recommended maintenance. I greatly appreciated his flexibility on hours and was happy to work with Jessica on scheduling and billing. Fixing a furnace is not cheap, but Cray's was definitely far more affordable than anyone else and they did a really great job. Thanks for making my house livable again! read more

Where to start? Lets see we refer you to a few friends for work which pans out for you as yes we though you had our best interests in mind but clearly that's not the case. We tried mulitple times to scheudle a visit as our A/C stopped working. After no call back becuase being busy (totally understand) we had to resort to other measures. Being a BMW master techntian myself I watched the unit to notice that the fan was laboring and popping the fuses. I then recreated the environment for the same fan issue to then find out i could simply give it a nudge it would free up an work that is until it turned off then it would bind. I replaced the fan assembly with the help of a parts house who matched up my dead fan assembly with its replacement. I then install the replacement fan with no issues but still having other issues with the unit. Finally Crays Cooling is able to come out and the "first words out of his mouth were about how we went somewhere else to get the fan assembly" which we kindly responded about how we have tried multiple times to give him the first opportunity to repair it for us but was too busy. He tightened a few things and said it was fixed, handed us a service bill and less than A HALF HOUR LATER THE UNIT STOPPED WORKING AGAIN! AFTER MULTIPLE UN-RETURNED CALLS THAT SAME DAY (5-6) TO CRAYS COOLING ITS WAS VERY CLEAR THAT HE COULD GIVE A RATS ASS ABOUT OUR PROBLEM EVEN AFTER GIVING HIM THE OPPORTUNITY TO FIX WHAT EVER HE FELT WAS NEEDED. YA SURE CASHED OUR CHECK THOUGH DIDN'T YA! BRAVO AND GOODBYE! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CALL ANYONE ELSE! read more

Long story....I blew up my AC trying to remove the PG&E monitor that "saves" electricity during high usage. Well turns out I also fried my furnace. I tried to fix it myself, replaced the transformer, the ignitor, the ignition system, and more parts...Got it going half assed, but the burners only three out of four were lit. Called Crays for an estimate to replace my system as I gave up on my 35 plus year old furnace. He showed up, and I explained what I have done, and he spent a few minutes checking my furnace and adjusted my main fan thermostat and got my system back working! But sadly my furnace core is cracked and dangerous to use. He showed me exactly the issue, warned me not to use it because it is leeching carbon monoxide in the house, thankfully Cray's went above and beyond giving me a quote. Needless to say I have not used my furnace even though he repaired it. read more

Cray's Cooling Company did a great job, fixed our heater, we were very happy. The first company I called, charged me $59 to come out and did not even make a diagnosis, just said my heater was old and needed a new system. So glad someone referred me to Cray's Cooling Company. I will always recommend Cray's. read more

Mike installed a new heating and air system, replacing the 30+year system that I had. He is very knowledgeable, honest, and trustworthy. I would recommend him to all my friends and neighbors. He even cleaned out the coils in my fridge in an attempt to help lower my extremely high electricity bill. He rat proofed the inside and outside of my home, did so much more than one of those big companies would have done. His price was $1000's less than Costco and other large companies. Plus he will come back every year to maintain it. read more

The Summer has hit, so that meant everyone has AC issues, but Mike was the first to respond out of 5 people I called. He said he was swamped, but came out on a Sunday to let us know what was wrong with our unit. He ordered the part and came back to install. He responds quickly by text and phone. So glad that our AC is up and running and I look forward to working with him on a future project. Thanks Mike! read more

Mike is amazing, I hired him to install a wall heater in my rental property and he did an amazing job. Upon first meeting he puts you at ease and can tell he's an honest person. In an industry full of people that have the power to take advantage I felt incredibly lucky to have found him. He did the job within 24 hours of calling and got the new heater back up and running in record time. Highly recommend, one of the last few great ones out there. Thanks for everything! read more

Called up Mike this past Thursday in the evening taking a chance on seeing if he works on water heaters. Come to find out he does and he came through in the clutch, he was just getting home and he did not have to but he did, he came over within 20-25 minutes of talking with him and he switched out and replaced my thermocouple. On top of the service Mike takes the time to give you information on the work he is doing and gives you very helpful knowledge on work and products. Mike also tuned up our AC unit in June and got it in tip top shape to get it running. We have not used it prior to moving into our home which was about 3 years ago. Again a good job on that. I would recommend Crays Cooling Company to anybody who has Heating/AC needs and will continue to use them when the time calls for it. read more

The owner, Michael Crays, has been in the heating and cooling business for over 10 years. I wanted to make sure my AC was installed and working correctly so I asked Michael to come over. He showed up promptly, did an evaluation, and assured me that the AC was going to work as designed. I found him polite, informed and his fees were reasonable. read more

I highly recommend Crays Cooling because they're smart and the price is the best you can find. I had several estimates and Crays Cooling was the only company willing to repair my air conditioner. All the other techs said I needed a new unit, especially since it operates with frion. A new unit have cost me thousands of dollars. Mike was able to locate two leaks, and determine the fan motor was the wrong size and installed upside down by the last repair guy. After a thorough cleaning and a brand new fan motor, my central a/c unit works better than ever! read more

We had Mike put in a new AC unit and furnace in our home over the summer. The AC kept us cool through the hot summer months- and has kept us toasty these first few weeks of the cooler weather. From the first time my husband spoke with Mike through the installation, Mike was professional, thorough and friendly. He is very honest and pays a lot of attention to the details of his work. I would highly recommend this business to anyone needing their current heating cooling system serviced or if you need a new one!!! read more

Mike Crays was referred to me by my trusted electrician Tracy Inouye. Mike gave me a quote sometime ~Nov 2013. He noticed that the extra air filter we had was the wrong size and changed it free of charge. I got one other quote when I noticed Costco was having an AC "sale" and it was WAY higher! Late April 2014 we decided we needed to get that AC in b/f he heatwave, so I called up Mike. He came back the next day and I showed him some other work that was suppose to be done by what turned out to be an incompetent swindling handyman (don't hire Yoshi Ando, he will take your money and disappear), and after pointing out what a terrible job the guy was doing, he offered to fix it for the cost of the materials! He also changed out my refrigerator water line and re-connected it to a cold water line (b/c it was hooked up to hot water). And he did it for a very reasonable price. It's late June now- the AC is working wonderfully! He seems like an honest guy who does good work for a competitive price- I would recommend him in a second! THANKS MIKE CRAYS! ps. Mike if you read this... you should put your picture up. read more

Crays Cooling is our go-to company for all things HVAC. We had 3 different people out to assess a venting issue before we came across Mike.
