Beware of this company! Pending litigation! We paid cash, up front for materials for the…read morereconstruction of our deck, but then Elevated Decks Inc took out a line of credit with the lumberyard for the materials (without our knowledge) and has never paid $28,014 they owe! The lumberyard now has a mechanics lien on our property and are threatening foreclosure on our house! There are two other claimants on the contractors bond for similar amounts- so a total of more than $75,000! Be aware of mechanics lien laws when dealing with contractors in general! Do NOT pay up front and make sure you get releases from suppliers for materials during the project! Unfortunately, we have learned the hard way that nice people are not always able to be trusted! They are still using pictures of our deck on this site but we do not authorize the use of those pictures for further marketing. (PLEASE REMOVE THEM IMMEDIATELY!) They have recently changed their company name, address and phone numbers since this happened so be careful when dealing with José or Jessica Cisneros under any company name. This is the second time I am posting since my previous negative review was removed, but I took it up with Yelp and was given permission to repost. Most weeks were total no shows. 2) Jessica is the actual contractor, but never once viewed the job. 3) No workman's comp for employees. 4) PRETTY BUT, poor and incomplete work. Quoted costs to REPAIR work started at $5500 to a range for more complete repairs starting at $15900. 5) We withheld the last $5000 owed due to our costs to complete and repair work, but Elevated Deck dishonestly placed over an $18000 LIEN on our home. 6) Elevated decks bought their materials on credit, so now the lumber company has ALSO placed a LIEN on our home. 7) The bond for Elevated Decks is willing to reimburse some of our money, but since WE ARE NOT THE ONLY CLIENTS BEING RIPPED OFF, so we can only receive part of it.

They were competitive with pricing, used grade A materials and the workers were the absolute best! They arrived on time each day and cleaned up after they left. They installed the fence for my backyard on both sides, along with a new door. They added post so that we could add solar caps and increased the height of the fence from 6 to 8 feet for added neighbor privacy. They took care of EVERYTHING PERFECTLY!!! They even came put a few weeks later just to check and see if all was well with the fence work. Our fence remains as gorgeous as it was when first installed and we have had absolutely no issues with craftsmanship, the fence or their work...at all! Our fence is still beautiful and has held up over the last two winter's "hurricane" like winds lol!!! I now want to install a privacy redwood trellis and have it attached to the top of the backyard brick wall and guess who just reached out to?!!!!! Yep, Straightline!!!!
