Worth the wait! 1 section of fence was replaced & fence extended & a new gate added, a pad for a 5th wheel was added with a gate, a new patio, and a walking path on the side of the house. Sprinklers were removed and the water lines capped. Some sprinklers were moved. Big project! Like most of the contractors in the area, Straightline Fences was booked for almost 2 months. After accepting the detailed quote, we put down a deposit and patiently waited. They started 1 day later than originally scheduled. They communicated in advance the delay. Work seemed to go slow, but there was just a lot that had to be done! The concrete pour was scheduled for a Saturday. There were 9-10 guys all day Saturday for the concrete pour. 3 truck loads of concrete, big project! Everything looks great! The large, 2 section gate for the side access for the 5th wheel was fabricated by Straightline Fence. All of hardware is great quality, no cheap stuff! Follow-up after the work was completed identified a few things needing changing or fixing. Changes and fixes were promptly completed. From beginning to end, Straighline Fences communicated, was professional, made suggestions and answered all of our questions. We felt that the price we paid was well worth the completed project! This review is long overdue! Guess better late than never lol! Anyway, Straightline is the place to go for all your fencing needs. We used their services about 2 years ago after we and our neighbor did an exhaustive search for fence installations. They were competitive with pricing, used grade A materials and the workers were the absolute best! They arrived on time each day and cleaned up after they left. They installed the fence for my backyard on both sides, along with a new door. They added post so that we could add solar caps and increased the height of the fence from 6 to 8 feet for added neighbor privacy. They took care of EVERYTHING PERFECTLY!!! They even came put a few weeks later just to check and see if all was well with the fence work. Our fence remains as gorgeous as it was when first installed and we have had absolutely no issues with craftsmanship, the fence or their work...at all! Our fence is still beautiful and has held up over the last two winter's "hurricane" like winds lol!!! I now want to install a privacy redwood trellis and have it attached to the top of the backyard brick wall and guess who just reached out to?!!!!! Yep, Straightline!!!! read more

Hired by neighbor for good neighbor fence - had them add another 3 sections just for me - wouldn't give me same square foot price - when asked why, they stated they weren't doing the work on same day but they did do all work on same day. Fence looks good -left some debris for me to clean I which should have been removed. The fence is straight but the gaps in between the boards is unacceptable. The gaps on my new fence in some cases are larger than my 10 year old fence. I asked for a nice gate as I saw what they did at my neighbors, it was nice. I guess I assumed I would get the same. I did not. I asked to have it stained they said sure but there was a Typo on the contract. Quoted price for stain was $470.00 new price was $510.00, no biggie just wanted it done. Never heard back from them. We had our side fence replaced last summer and also got quotes for retaining wall and fences for our neighbors. Their estimator was outstanding and worked with our neighbors and us to get everything done to our satisfaction. We needed to have a gate swing out that would normally swing in and our estimator consulted with more experienced installers to come up with a solution that we are very happy with. We did need to have them come back in December to make the gate a little narrower where the latch is located (the wood expanded with rain), but it is fine now. All of the work was good quality and they took care of moving gravel landscaping out of the way and back into place to get the fence done. The lead installer clearly took pride in his work and answered all of my questions and showed me what he planned. Removal of old fence and clean up after completion was excellent as well.
