Mr Han and his crew were up to the task. The shade has served us well all these years and continues to do so. Recently, the shade became stuck in the open position. Fearing a motor failure or other structural issue, I called Acme in a panic. The owner, Mr Han himself, made a prompt service call. Fortunately, it was only the remote down button which after much wear and tear needed more pressure to activate. After replacing and programing the remote, Mr. Han spent extra time explaining how the system works, what to expect in the future, and answering my many questions. Both the initial installation experience and the excellent support 13 yrs later were very impressive. It's a grear company.

Well my 95 pound German shepherd crashed through one screen once but that is not Phantom Screen's fault. So today I added 2 more. I got so tired of one traditional screen door that had to be repaired frequently which involved borrowing a truck and dropping it off several miles away. Then borrowing the truck again to pick it up. Finally I realized I had two doors that could use a Phantom Screen and Screens of Northern California was still at the same address so I sent out an e mail. And everything moved quickly. The design is different but the company's responsiveness and quality of work remains stellar. I will miss the push/pull to release the magnets of the original screen door. It is a pretty effective bad guy deterrent at the door to my garage along with another big German Shepherd sleeping at the inside enjoying the breeze! But the new doors' release is welcome at the new locations. And the installer threw in a can of silicone spray. I'd say the only drawback is the screen door seems to be a magnet for dog hair. JK.
