Never ended up doing business with Second Generation Landscaping as we never received an estimate. Carols completely forgot about our appointment and when his phone reminded him, he asked if we were still on for that day. He showed up, took measurements and listened to our ideas. He also offered suggestions. He told us he would have the estimate to us that day, but didn't. When I followed up, he once again told us he would have it over to us that day, but failed yet again. The team built over 230 feet of fence in about 2 days and it looks great. The team was professional and prompt in all communications. We contacted Carlos Martinez through the Thumbtack app. His was by far the fairest bid for landscaping the back and side yards of our new home, as well as pouring a sidewalk from our garage entry door to the driveway. He should change the name of his company to ABOVE AND BEYOND TO BLOW YOUR MIND! Carlos took my simple drawing, and turned it into an absolute masterpiece, adding drip irrigation everywhere we needed it aplenty, creating the cobblestone pad I had told him I would do myself, then using cobblestones to form the border between decomposed granite and our synthetic lawn. The crew acts like they are of one mind, each anticipating and helping the others to provide the best product possible.
