Our fence was very old but still good. However, this one section was just too bad to keep propping up. Got a few bids and Bay Side Fencing sent Jose out. He did a great job explaining the situation, showing me what he would do. Before he left, he somehow managed to get me a very professional quote. Having some bids prior, he was inline with the rest. Told him let's do it! And his crew showed up 15 minutes early, got to work without me interjecting and finished and cleaned up. Very good experience. Very communicative. When we need more work done, I'll be back. Given the bid was inline with other companies of similar ratings, I would say the value was good for the money spent.
I can't say enough about the Bay Side fencing team! Jose came out and took measurements and gave me a bid that was better than all others because they used the Con Heart wood material where all others used Con Common, and would have charged even more to upgrade (it with Bay Side's bid) We had 152 ft with a slope on the shared fence side and 73 ft at the top. Jorge and his team came in removed the old fence and had it all installed in two days, which is remarkable because our ground is hard and full of rocks and the slope was very steep! I was amazed how they navigated up and down the hill carrying large loads on their shoulders. I would use them again and again if needed. Thanks Bay Side
Bay Side Fencing built a beautiful new gate for our home. Great quality and so far after 6 months it still looks great. All our neighbors have complemented us on the gate Jose and his team put up. Thank you!
Excellent work and communication. Timely work and would definitely recommend for your fence replacement.
I got quotes from five fencing companies, and these guys came in with the best price by far, and delivered a top-tier craftsmanship that I couldn't be happier with. In just four days, they built over 260 feet of beautiful fencing, including two walk gates and a custom RV gate. The quality of the work is outstanding: every post is plumb, the lines are clean, the gates swing perfectly, and the lattice detailing is flawless. But what really sets them apart is their service. After the job was done, I accidentally let the wind slam one of the RV gates shut and it cracked a board. I called to see if I could pay to have it fixed, and the owner told me they'd take care of it for free, no hesitation, no blame. That kind of pride and integrity is rare. This crew is skilled, fast, professional, and fair. I'd hire them again without a second thought and recommend them to anyone who wants a job done right.
My wife and I spent months developing ideas for custom wood and steel gates, with steel posts, until we finally came up with something we liked. We solicited bids from two highly rated companies for: 1) a double gate that was a rather complicated project, as one post would impact a wooden retaining wall; and 2) a pedestrian gate and fence section that had to match the appearance of the double gate. The company we didn't hire was prompt in their bid (faster than Bay SIde Fencing). Their proposal looked good and was a little cheaper than Bay Side. The unsuccessful bidder also seemed like an excellent company, and we were very impressed with their representative as well. So why Bay Side? While the other company proposed a 3"x3" steel post for the double gate (set in 24 inches of concrete) and regular fence boards, the Bay Side project manager proposed 5"x5" steel posts (in 36 inches of concrete, which seemed substantially stronger to us) and tongue-and-groove (rather than regular fence boards) which is both better looking and provides more privacy. We went with Bay Side and never looked back. The Bay Side crew was very experienced and worked as a well-coordinated team. They executed our custom design to perfection. Their work was absolutely beautiful and very sturdy. In fact, when I saw the Quikrete being delivered on a flatbed truck, there was such a large amount, I assumed that our project was one stop of many for the flatbed. Nope. All the material was for our project. I counted over 1,000 pounds of Quikrete that went into five posts to support the pedestrian gate and fence section. I don't even know how much they used for the double gate. A few hiccups occurred during the project that Bay Side fencing immediately resolved to our satisfaction. One such hiccup occured after we had already paid for the project in full; they still immediately resolved it to our complete satisfaction. Bay Side Fencing is highly ethical, their is crew highly competent, and their work is simply outstanding. My wife and I are very happy with how the project turned out. Their execution of our design exceeded our expectations, and the gates and fences look even better than we envisioned them.
Great experience with this company! #BaySideFencing was recommended by a friend in my same development (Lakeshore, DB). They actually answered the phone when I called and came out the next day to provide a quote for a fence replacement. Their cost was very competitive and after reviewing their bid with the list of materials, and considering their "7 Year Warranty on materials & labor", the decision to go with Bay Side Fencing was easy. They were able to schedule the work within a couple of days and completed the job in less than a day (70' of fencing with two gates). My neighbor and I are very pleased with the work they did (including cleaning the job site when they completed their work). I would recommend Bay Side Fencing for anyone looking for a quality fencing contractor.
Really happy with the finished product and the way the team that came to do the job listened to my requests and came through. Highly recommend Bayside Fencing and the price was comparable and slightly lower than other estimates. Be sure to detail exactly what you're looking for with the estimator as he does move pretty quickly.
They were the highest bid by $40 from the second closest high bid. Two others came in $500 cheaper. I went with Bay Side because of their estimators professionalism. His clean work estimators truck, again showing professionalism for the company. And his honesty. Basically he said I'm not the cheapest. So their crew on the install day showed up on time. Readdressing the quote to make sure their install job was in line with what I excepted. They went to work and destroyed and cleaned up my 35yr old destroyed fence and then prepared for the new install. Once again coming to me to determine what I excepted, Half way through the job, a supervisor came in to talk to me to see if I was pleased with the install and that I was receiving all that I expected. YES... Later, my appraiser showed up just to check that everything was going OK. Bottom line, they did Everything they promised. The fence looks awesome and is so secure for our Pittsburg Hills winds. As I mentioned, they were $40 higher but every bid came in with 24" set 4x4 posts where Bay Side was the only company that took into our consideration with high winds off our hillside to place the posts "36" deep. They understood their customers needs and went beyond.... Pics to follow

Just had our fence and gates replaced. This young company was very good. Everything from quick to get out and bid job, and return a reasonable quote very quickly. The communication between office and customer was a five star rating. Even the field foreman, once he was on site he checked in with us and let us know their plan of attack. Asked if we had any questions or concerns. I know fencing contractors do move fast but this crew didn't mis a step. They completed fence and gates under two days. We did have a small amount of quality control I brought to their attention. Jose the PM showed up at our house immediately. He went over and beyond to make things right. Only one recommendation. Maybe turn the music down a notch. Although we got no complaints from neighbors, the wife works from home and it did bother her a bit. All in all I give this company 4.5 starts out of 5. Thanks Bay Side Fence. read more

We had an excellent experience with Bay Side Fencing Company! From start to finish, everything was handled efficiently and professionally. The team completed our fence in just 3 days, which was impressive given the quality of the build and materials. Pricing was very fair and they were transparent the whole way through. We also got personal help from the owner Luis to collaborate ideas for our gate locking mechanism. What stood out most was their attention to detail--not only in the craftsmanship but also in making sure everything stayed within city guidelines, which saved us time and potential headaches down the road. If you're looking for a fence that's well-built, reasonably priced, and handled by true professionals, we highly recommend Bayside Fencing Company. Once the wood is all settled we can't wait for their help to finish the look with a coat of stain. read more

I needed 17 foot 30 year old section of redwood fence replaced with new, and I got more than one bid for the job. These guys were quick to provide an estimate, quick to schedule, and once scheduled, amazingly fast at completing the work. I would highly recommend them as this section of fence is now the best looking section of fence in my yard. I highly recommend them. read more

10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND BAYSIDE FENCING!!! SEARCH NO MORE BAYSIDE FENCING IS THE BEST!!! They went above and beyond what I had imagined for just my side gate not even my entire fence around the yard! Shoutout to Jose for helping me with the process of choosing materials and pricing out an estimate, another big shoutout to Ricardo and his crew for coming out and getting the job done! Everyone was so professional, easy to talk to, if I had any questions they had every answer. Ricardo and his crew did such a great job on site with the building and even clean up after. I cannot thank them enough for such a great job!!! read more

Working with this company was a truly outstanding experience, they were professional, easy to work with, expedient, and I ended up with a fence that is sturdy AND a work of art. The price I was quoted was not the absolute lowest, but I did feel it was reasonable. And I doubt I would have gotten such quality. I can't tell you how many of my neighbors have complimented us on how we have beautified the neighborhood! The style I had picked out was unusual and the crew told me they had never done anything like it before. I also wanted a rolling-style gate and they said this was also new for them. All executed perfectly. They stayed late on the third day to get the job done within the projected time frame, and cleared out all debris. Very pleased, highly recommend. read more

Easily the best choice in the bay area. After getting 6 quotes the owner Luis won us over. He was competitive on price, the easiest to communicate with, and friendliest! We had a few corrections at the very end of the job that we should have mentioned sooner, so with an attitude of "we aren't done until you're happy," he sent his guys back and fixed our issue. We tipped out his guys after as they were working on a weekend, it was 105, and were friendly as can be. In summary: Great owner, fair competitive price, and friendly workers. You can't go wrong with this team. Highly recommend! read more
