Our project was a hogwire fence around the parameter of our front yard, which included a gate that bridge the gap between the new fence and the side of our house. He quoted me the same day he came out, and once the quote was signed, he had his team out here within a week. The workers were prompt, professional, friendly, and worked fast. I got the fence installed in 2022. Initially the quality looked ok but over time the fence has opened up. There are gaps now all over the fence and so many sections the woods is coming out as the nails come out as well. The quality of workmanship is absolutely nonexistent. Robert and his crew came out and replaced 22 4x4 posts from my original A&J fence built in 2008. All the posts were replaced with 4x6s. It was amazing to watch them work. There was very little disruption to my yard and to the neighbors. All the concrete was removed from the old holes and the posts were set deep in the ground. The fence didn't move. Old post out new post in. Over the years, I've had other companies replace posts with 4x4s. They didn't last, and they tore down the whole fence and rebuilt it which was unnecessary. Usually they didn't set the posts deep enough. I have great confidence that my fence will last another 15 years or more. Thanks again to Robert and the team. read more

A&J Fencing completed my job on 5-19-2025. They started 8:00 sharp and finished at 1:00...in 5 hours, 5 men demoed and hand dug 16 post holes and 26' of double gate. Outstanding and beautiful job, I used to build fences and custom decks when younger...still having hard time believing they completed entire job and demo cleanup and disposal in 5 hours...need more hard working men with this specific work ethic in today's workforce. I've had over 8 contractors and only one employee of any of them come close to same work ethic... I used A&J Fencing at my last house to build new fencing. I was immediately impressed with their communication, promptness, quality of work, and how they left my yard perfectly clean after they were done. Every time I called the office, they were professional, polite, helpful and answered my questions or directed me to the right department. Neighbors used them also and they felt exactly the same way. I eventually moved to a different house and got a bid from them to replace fencing and build a retaining wall. This was not as straight forward as the previous property as I was concerned with the risk of erosion, living above a creek. Scott took all my concerns into consideration and we came up with a plan that I felt secure and comfortable with. Again, I had an extremely positive experience for all the same reasons listed above. Next project was to replace a very large redwood deck at the new house with again the concern of future erosion. I got three bids and A&J Fencing came in the lowest. I trusted my gut based on their expertise with the previous projects, and proceeded. Luis ("Rambo") and the rest of the deck crew were amazing! They were so precise from the start which led to a flawless design. They were patient with my questions along the way. Scott stayed in communication with me throughout the entire project. The deck turned out absolutely beautiful! Wow! Next, I hired A&J to stain all the fencing and the deck. They worked with me on the timing of the staining to choose a time I felt comfortable with in terms of the wood being ready for staining and the weather forecast. Manny stained the deck and most of the fencing. He clearly takes pride in his work and did an excellent, careful job and left no mess behind. Everything here is done now and gorgeous!
