Two horizontal, chrome grab bars installed in tub/shower. Perfect!

"No one expects to fall." So said my physical therapist after knee surgery. Since then, I've developed other problems that sap my strength. My wife and I are both in our 70s and have contemplated getting grab bars for years but finally contacted "Safe At Home," promptly had a free consult from them and, a week or so later, Jose -- same man who'd done the consult -- returned and installed grab bars for our upstairs tub/shower and our downstairs shower. He did a superb job! Perfectly located, perfectly level, perfectly secured! He couldn't have been nicer, more professional, or more efficient. Very experienced. From start to finish, it was obvious he knew exactly what he was doing and how to do the job without any damage to our very nice bathroom tiles. Cost was quite reasonable for materials & labor. We recommend this company's services without reservation. Bob & Judith

This is the new side bar in my mom's bathroom installed on 6/15/16. 5 star job.

On time, prepared, tidy with work space, knowledgeable. Had the necessary tools and equipment. Courteous and clean. We would hire again.

Well established in the Los Angeles area, people seeking assistance in the Easy Bay should reach out to 24Hr HomeCare for a dose of relief. From the first phone call, they are willing to listen to your needs and desires, and will actually take into account exactly what you are looking for. Whether it be a one-time deal to get to and from a doctor's appointment, or just inquiring about homecare and the types of services it can provide, these people will answer all questions and perform all duties with a smile to go along with it. Better yet, they actually take the time to give back to the community they serve, as well as meet all caregivers prior to have them working with a loved one. Highly recommend giving these guys a call, day, night, weekend, or holiday. I guarantee someone will always have the time to talk with you, and help you in anyway possible.

I had to make several scheduling changes due to my mother's changing care needs and the care coordinators were able to accommodate. There was one time that they could not find a caregiver and did provide phone. I would say that the majority of the caregivers that they sent out were competent and my mom really liked them. The rest did not interact with my mom and just sat in the chair, saying nothing. One caregiver watched TV the entire night she stayed with my mom. I let the agency know and I asked them not to send those caregivers again. I was glad that we had access to caregivers but I think I may try to use another caregiver company if the need arises.

My favorites: 1) Tricia, visiting nurse, was very pleasant. She was on PTO for the second week I used them, so different nurses showed up the next week. 2) Stacy, the physical therapist, was outstanding. She visited three times, paying attention to every detail of how I moved through the house (bending improperly can undo the delicate surgery and mandate revision surgery). She made numerous helpful suggestions, so that I heal properly. She even suggested that we insert lifters under our couch, so my joint would heal at the optimal angle. Good eye! She treated me like a friend. 3) Amanda, the occupational therapist, was also attentive and very helpful. I highly recommend this professional company.

After a stay in a skilled nursing facility, he still needed daily monitoring and support--but ongoing skilled nursing care was simply out of reach financially. That's when I found Home Helpers Home Care of Concord, and I can honestly say they were exactly what we needed. From the very first phone call, I felt completely at ease. I spoke directly with the owner, learned about their services, met the staff, and immediately sensed the professionalism and genuine compassion behind this company. What really blew me away was the level of personal attention. On the very first day of service, the owner showed up in person--and early--to introduce us to the caregiver and stay for a while to make sure everything went smoothly. That kind of warm, hands-on handoff is almost unheard of these days, and it made a huge difference for my godfather, who had always resisted outside help. The caregiver they matched us with was kind, patient, and incredibly attentive. My godfather felt comfortable right away, which honestly surprised me given his history of refusing care. Home Helpers provided a cost‑effective solution without sacrificing quality, and their leadership and staff consistently demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and heart. I'm truly grateful we found this company. If you're looking for trustworthy, affordable, and compassionate senior care, I highly recommend Home Helpers Home Care of Concord. I expected good things from a company named 'Best Ever Home Care'. While we had to cycle through a…read morefew caregivers until they found a regular one for my mom, we had the chance of Julia being my moms caregiver for up to 2 weeks. Julia provided excellent caregiving services for my mother; taking her to the ice cream shop, and to a local man made lake to feed the ducks, she was always engaging with my mom. We then got our regular caregiver, who I thought was a pretty good math for my mom, she truly engaged with her and my mom liked her. Over the course of her week working with my mother, she divulged information that we did not need to her (her boyfriend was in jail). One day she came in, and about mid-shift, she said she needed to take a phone call and went into the bathroom for like 15 minutes talking on the phone and "cleaning" our bathroom. She came out and I asked if everything was ok, she said yes. About 1/2 hour later, sitting on my couch, her phone rang, and she asked if she could take the all, I said of course. She went out into my garage, and proceeded to yell at the top of her lungs in my garage. I went out to the garage, and asked her to tone it down, and that if she needed to leave, then she should do so, which she did. I was a little nervous with her coming in on her next day of work, but she came in, I just so happened to be upstairs showering my mother from a bathroom accident. My husband texted me and told me, the caregiver told him that she had lost her sense of taste and smell. I asked her to come upstairs and told her that she was going to have to call her company and that they will most likely ask her to go home. She called her company while on speaker phone and I heard Julia chastise her and ask her questions, instead of telling her to leave immediately. Julia wanted me to make the decision to send her home, and I told her it was her companies integrity on the line and that she needed to make the call, that I too felt she needed to leave. LONG STORY short, the caregiver tested positive for COVED-19, and we were forced on a mandatory quarantine for 14 days. This Christmas is most likely my moms last and I tried to make it as special as possible for her (she loves Christmas), and now it was all jacked up, and her other son could not come down on Christmas as planned. All 3 of us in the house went and got tested and thankfully came out negative. The hardest part of all of this is that Julie ghosted us. She was not responding to texts or calls, and then she felt like she couldn't answer questions I was asking and had to bring in other "managers" on her staff. We eventually scheduled a zoom meeting to discuss moving forward. With some troubleshooting, we finally met, but EVERY TIME I went to talk, I was interrupted, first by the scheduler Toni, then by the "risk manager" Karin. I ended up ending the Zoom since they would not hear me out or listen to me, and kept making excuses. I would be VERY wary of hiring this company to provide any caregiving services to your loved ones. Their employees to not wear their masks properly (above the nose) and that included the companies owner Julia!! The employees do not know the companies policies (mask wearing, not showing up to work when you have cold/flu symptoms), Julia kept telling me that all of their employees know their policies. Apparently not, otherwise I would not have to write this review. Hell, the company never even offered to get us groceries or send a gift card to get groceries. Never even checked on us to see how we were doing. Instead I received ZERO communication (I even had to call to find out wat the test results were from the caregiver)... again GHOSTED. This is a BAD company that provided mediocre care for my mother at $31.00/hr. I expected more! Don't expect much from this company.
