I'm not one to recommend any business, but I will share my experience with Tropical Landscape. I'm one of those who have no idea what flowers go with what, how much sun, water??? Joana and Israel are the owners. They are both personal and professional. They went above and beyond. Joana gave me sketches of what she thought might work. I chose one, and before you know it, they were off and running. They trimmed the bushes that I had badly trimmed. They tilled a very small section of the 4 areas. They added soil, then put that black vinyl material to keep the weeds from growing & placed wire to keep the cats away. Some landscapers will use a line for the drip system; they have one for each plant individually. They added the mulch, and there we are. I'm so pleased. I gave them a blank sheet of paper, and what they gave me was a very pleasant, welcome to my home, landscape kind of feeling. They checked all the sprinklers, took me to show where the sprinkler heads were clearly ones that needed to be replaced. Isrqal showed me the sprinkler head; one was normal, and another, I could see why it had to be replaced. He could have used the "upsell" maneuver, but he didn't. Two of their employees were "worker bees" - I swear they didn't stop, and if they did, it wasn't for long, even in these 90-degree days. I made sure they had a case of water so they could grab a bottle at any time. When they were done, if I didn't know better, it was as if they weren't ever there; they even leveled a spot. Joana and Israel had a professional and personable approach. They made me feel as if I were the only account they had. I showed her my backyard. I told her, come Spring, after I save a few pennies, this is one challenge she can anticipate. AGAIN: I'm sharing my experience only! read more
