They were always booked - which is a good sign - but that meant it was challenging to get them on the schedule. But when available, they did great work at reasonable rates. Eventually, the company was sold and the new owner changed the business model a bit. The initial bids were the same - basically truck roll fee + labor with materials to be billed after job completion. The big difference was they no longer provided itemized material costing and the materials markup was much higher than other irrigation vendors we've used. In addition, this change was not noticed before the job was completed and they refused to itemize despite multiple requests. Again, they've always done great work for us and if not concerned with paying a significant markup for materials, then possibly a good fit for you.

BDC Landscape came out and responded to my inquiry very quickly and were able to provide an estimate within 1 day. We did not have a design in place, however, the team was able to put together a simple, yet effective design of what my wife and I had envisioned. What was once just dirt, soon became a beautiful mix of pavers, artificial grass, lighting and retaining wall.  The team worked quickly and efficiently and made sure to go over every detail to ensure it was to our liking. Andy was very knowledgeable and made sure our plan came to life. We now have a large paver area and concrete pad which fit our firepit and backyard furniture. Our kids now have a large area to grow into and play in for years to come.  BDC Landscape was able to complete my backyard in such a quick turnaround that they were able to accomodate the front of the house as well. They added artifical grass, concrete steps and a concrete path for our trash bins. I am so happy with their work and how everything turned out, I can't say enough good things about BDC Landscape. They truly completed the final step of our forever home! I will definitely be reaching out for any future projects!

The natural grass was hard to maintain, since the sprinklers were not functioning properly, but the artificial lawn has vastly improved the curb appeal of our father's property. Without increasing estimated costs, Green Planet Landscaping surprised us with an additional amenity that actually rectified an issue raised by the local HOA. Thus, we are 110 percent satisfied with their service. Inasmuch as I live several hours away from Brentwood and Discovery Bay, I did not have the pleasure of meeting Alan in person. However, our communications were very effective and I am delighted to have completed this task as our father's Power-of-Attorney.

After living in our home for a year, it was time to redesign our backyard. I submitted a price quote request on Yelp and received a few responses to schedule a consultation. After meeting with other landscape companies, my choice was to go with Alan at Green Planet Landscape. It wasn't just about the price quote, but Alan's thoughtful ideas and recommendation made us trust him even more with the project. He would make sure our backyard would look amazing and presentable. He drew a sketch design for us to submit to the HOA. After we got an approval from the HOA for the project, Alan scheduled us within a few days. Alan first introduced me to Angel to have him do a walkthrough around the backyard. We had them install stone walls, pavers, artificial turf, and planter beds. The project lasted about 3 days and they did a fantastic job on transforming our backyard. My wife is so in love with plants and was very happy they planted her plants in the soil. Our dogs were so excited and love playing on the turf. I would highly recommend Green Planet Landscape. We finally are comfortable to contact them in the near future.

Our wall was starting to move so it was a matter of time before this had to be done so based on a recommendation we reached out to Javi and he came right over and provided an estimate within days. I wasn't keen to explore other bids so we signed the contract. Within 3 weeks the team took down the old wall and unearthed huge chunks of concrete rubble that was used for the fill this the poor drainage/ lack of drainage. They rebuilt the wall with a wider walkway that is gently curved and a cable railing to match our deck. He suggested leaving an area in front of the rail for planting. Brilliant idea! And while we were away, they relaid the pavers in a nice pattern. The drainage is unbelievable. The gravel, the drainage pipes were all expertly laid out to ensure that we will never have this problem again. His team starts on time each day and is tidy at the end of each day. We enjoyed providing them with extra water and snacks. The work is super labor intensive. Shoveling, digging, wheelbarrows of gravel, blocks, etc. I am humbled by the work ethic and quality of work.
