It ended up being a decent size job, with a fair amount of digging for the drains and demo of the old stairs, took a couple weeks to complete the job. Nate was a pleasure to work with, responsive, had great ideas about how to tackle the job, and his pricing was totally fair. Most importantly, as you can see from the pictures, they did excellent work. Finally, they stood behind their work, a few cracks showed up maybe 6 months after the job (100% not their fault, we deal with a driveway that shifts a ton from the weight of a steep slope we are on) and they repaired the cracks no questions asked and free of charge. I know he does jobs much larger than this but he never made our job feel insignificant or unimportant, and followed through like a true pro. I'd use him or recommend him again, no question.

I had the same experience as a couple of other people who have left reviews. Greg is a nice guy,…read moreand I really like him personally, which is why I honestly didn't want to have to write this review. However, I feel like my job was relatively small and simply wasn't a high priority. I was originally told the job would take about 4-5 days, but it ended up taking closer to three months. Greg told me they would start on June 22, but that didn't happen. I believe they actually started the work around July 28 and finally finished on August 24. There were several times when the guys were supposed to show up in the morning, but they wouldn't arrive until the afternoon, would only work for part of the day, or wouldn't show up at all. Greg was always very nice and had an explanation, but the delays became frustrating. Unfortunately, after the job was completed and I had made the final payment, I noticed there was a gap underneath my gate where the turf did not cover the ground. I first contacted Greg about it on August 27, and a month later, I'm still trying to get it fixed. I've attached a picture so you can see the issue. Greg told me he doesn't have any extra turf left to fill the gap, but said he would come back and replace the bricks that were there previously. I'm still waiting to see if that happens. Overall, Greg is a nice person and I believe he means well, but based on my experience, I would recommend making sure you have a clear timeline before hiring them. If you have a larger project, you may have a different experience, but if you have a smaller job, I would personally consider getting another company to do it. I'll update this review if and when the gap is finally fixed. I guess all I had to do was post this review because Greg came by and fixed it today so I added a star to my review.

After deciding to remove our pool, we hired Aaron as the installer for our new landscape project, and we are so glad we did. For months, work was moving forward almost every day, from demolition prep and grading to hardscape, planting, irrigation, lighting, fencing, pergola installation, pebble work, and the finishing touches. The quality of the work was excellent throughout. The paver patio, carport, and front entry all turned out beautifully, and the plants, irrigation, and lighting were installed with great care. We were especially impressed by the rock and pebble work, particularly the dry creek and front mow strip. The mix of stone sizes gave everything a natural, detailed, and polished look that really elevated the final result. Aaron also has a strong eye for detail. He regularly caught things that needed adjustment, even when we had not noticed them ourselves, and he stayed focused on getting everything right. While there were some issues that delayed finishing the project, Aaron took responsibility and worked with us to make them right, which we truly appreciated. We had everything completely demoed in order to start from scratch. We wanted a more rustic, traditional looking garden with brick pathways and lots of plants. Having never done a project like this before, we hired a landscape designer: Cyn Coulouthros. She put together a design for us and recommended Aaron's team at Landscape Experts due to their experience with softscaping and hardscaping, especially their brick work. And they would be able to deliver the traditional look we were going for. I cannot say enough good things about Aaron and his team. They go above and beyond to make sure you get what you want! Aaron is so easy to work with and always responsive. The lead on our project was Raul who is amazing at what he does! He takes pride in his work and is incredibly talented. If you need any landscaping, I highly recommend Landscape Experts. Some things Aaron's team did for us: Laid a brick pathway, laid a flagstone patio, installed pathway lights, installed much needed drainage, installed a drip system and Rachio controller (to program the sprinklers from your phone), resurfaced an existing raised seating area for us as it was completely deformed (likely from earthquakes), placed mulch, planted all of the trees and plants, etc. An additional note, Aaron doesn't forget about you once the job is done. We had a light go out and he sent someone over immediately to fix it, as an example. If you're having any issues, he wants to help, even if it's unrelated to anything they've worked on. We met with Linda several times during the design process, and while the design is both professional and modern, it is clear that she incorporated our personal feedback in very thoughtful ways throughout the yard. Our back yard had existing walls and hardscape that would have been costly to demolish and landscape from scratch. We were impressed by Linda's ability to frame her design around the existing infrastructure in clever and resourceful ways. Using Linda's design, the contractor was able to repurpose masonry blocks and rock from unused parts of the yard to totally transform another part of the yard. Equally as impressive, Linda tailored her design to our budgetary constraints, and the contractor's estimate came in on-target. The plans Linda produced were accurate, easy to read, and beautifully artistic. The contractor had very few questions for us about the design, and Linda was on-site a few times during construction to check on the progress. We used a contractor recommended by Linda, and were impressed by their teamwork on the project. A couple months after completion, the plants are in full bloom and the yard has become our favorite part of the house, by far! The landscaping is low-maintenance, and since Linda used mostly drought tolerant plants, our water usage is surprisingly low given the vibrant growth.
