We hired Oscar to extend our current brick patio with new pavers. He was able to seamlessly blend the old and new pavers for a professional look. His crew was punctual and kept our space clean and tidy at the end of each day. Oscar was responsive to all our questions and concerns. The quality of the paver installation is top-notch. I would highly recommend. read more

Oscar Landscaping is fantastic! I interviewed a few landscaping companies before choosing Oscar, and from the very beginning, he stood out. He was quick to respond, his pricing was very reasonable, and he truly gives every project his all. Oscar is an excellent communicator and kept me informed about design decisions, materials, products, and scheduling throughout the entire process. What I appreciated most was how open he was to my ideas. He really listened to what I envisioned and worked with me to make it a reality rather than trying to steer me toward something else. I've had Oscar back several times since the original project, and he is always happy to help--even with the smaller jobs. He's reliable, hardworking, easy to work with, and takes pride in what he does. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Oscar Landscaping, and I'll definitely be calling him again for future projects! read more

This business is actually ran out of a single family home in a residential neighborhood. Waking me and my family(young children) up every morning at 6:30AM loading two super duty trucks full of their heavy equipment. Installing a porta potty for use by the workers every morning and night 10 feet from my kitchen for the last 12 weeks. Code enforcement and the city of Oakland are involved. Stear clear of these completely inconsiderate and irresponsible workers. If this is how they treat their neighbors, imagine how little regard they'll show for you. read more

Do not call this company. Oscar came out to give me an estimate after I saw his advertisement in the local mail in Belmont. He started yelling when I told him I only needed landscaping not hard scape for my yard Stated he drove 3 hrs to get here and his advertisement had a local phone number. He refused to leave my home and I finally had to just go inside my house. read more

Luxury Results With a Personal Touch 5 Stars We had such a wonderful experience working with Oscar Landscaping! Oscar and his team built our pool deck from high-end travertine, and the results are absolutely stunning. Every single detail -- from the layout and leveling to the finishing touches -- was done with such care and precision. After interviewing 8 or 9 landscaping companies, we chose Oscar. What really stood out to us was his professionalism, he gave us a detailed proposal a few hours after our meeting! His bid came in right in line with most of the contractors we interviewed and he included the services of a professional designer at no additional cost. He listened to what we wanted, offered great suggestions, and made sure everything was perfect. Oscar is very personable, kind and intelligent. Communications with him was excellent, he responds to texts within minutes. His crew was hardworking and respectful. Our backyard has been completely transformed -- the travertine looks beautiful and feels like a luxury resort. The custom lighting is spectacular! We've already received so many compliments from friends and family. I can't recommend Oscar Landscaping enough if you're looking for someone who truly takes pride in their work and delivers exceptional results. Update: A few months after the project completion Oscar and his team came back to fill in some sand between the travertine tiles that had been displaced. They were very responsive when we called. read more

I wanted to put in an outdoor kitchen area. I found Oscar in one of the mailers that I get weekly. He came over and gave me a very reasonable estimate to put pavers in for the kitchen. He and his team did a beautiful job. He was never late for any appointment. He was able to start my job a month earlier than he originally stated and got it done in the time he said he would. His team came and checked irrigation after the job was completed. I would highly recommend Oscar Landscaping. read more

We couldn't be happier with Oscar Landscaping's work on our backyard. Oscar listened to our priorities and put together a vision for the space. After a few adjustments, a plan was finalized. We were updated frequently throughout the project and given the opportunity to make small changes. The work was completed according to the proposed schedule. His crew was not reassigned to other projects once our project began. We were very satisfied with the completed remodel. Oscar even noticed a drainage problem on the side of our house that his crew fixed for no additional charge. Oscar's crew was courteous, professional and cleaned up well at the end of each day. They covered up windows during the demolition phase of the project. They came back and repaired any damaged stucco incurred during the demolition. 1/28/2026 read more

Oscar Landscaping gave us our dream backyard! Oscar and his team were amazing to work with and incredibly responsive and accommodating from the first day to the final details. Oscar and his team came highly recommended by 2 neighbor friends and his estimate was extremely competitive... this made it very easy for us to choose them. Oscar Landscape remodeled our backyard, we had artificial turf, landscaping, a wall, electrical and outdoor kitchen and pavers added to the yard. The design process was easy with great and professional mock ups, plenty of great options to choose from and great design advice from his design expert. The crew was AMAZING, they were here everyday they said they would be here, they were never late and never left a mess behind, I can safely say I've never seen a more hard working crew. Oscar has great attention to detail, sometimes he remembered things I had asked for that I had forgotten about! He communicated with us every step of the way. We were never left guessing about any aspect of this renovation. And ALL of this for a very fair price! You will not regret calling Oscar Landscape they truly made our dream backyard a reality! We wanted our upper level large exposed aggregate concrete patio removed and replaced with pavers. We checked with several contractors for ideas and bids. Oscar landscaping provided the lowest bid along with a designer for the project. Speaking with Oscar was very easy, knowledgeable, and had great ideas. It was an easy decision to go with him! His crew did an outstanding job with the demolition and removal, of the old concrete, as well as the installation of the foundation prep and pavers. During this process they added a drainage system under the pavers due to the run off of rain water during the winter. He had an awesome crew who took pride in their work, and always cleaned up at the end of the day. So glad we found him and would not hesitate to use them again in the future. We highly recommend Oscar Landscaping! read more

All you people out there who are thinking about doing a hardscaping or landscaping project but are worried it will take too long, fear not, Oscar Landscaping to the rescue! I initially contacted Oscar on or around October 25, 2025 for what I would think was a considerable hardscaping/landscaping project primarily replacing my driveway and front walkway with pavers. I selected Oscar from about seven bidders. He wasn't necessarily the lowest bidder, but his attention to detail and personal interest in my project were the main factors which caused me to select him. His team started work the week before Thanksgiving and despite some rain was done on December 19th. That was far ahead of what I was expecting. Further, the results were magnificent. Better than I could have ever envisioned. All of my neighbors in my cul-de-sac have complimented me on my front yard and driveway's brand new look! I definitely recommend Oscar Landscaping for landscaping/hardscaping residential projects! read more

I had just recently bought my house and the yard was a disaster. I reviewed multiple offers from contractors who told me the project would need to be piecemeal or say they/I would need additional sub-contractors. I hired Oscar Landscaping because his team could tackle every aspect of the project and they came in with a reasonable estimate. Oscar and his team were timely, professional, and I trusted they could turn my project vision into reality. The goal was to demo the back+side+front yard, install underground solid drainage, replace a fence, and put in pavers (including steps and lights), then install an irrigation system in the backyard. I ended up also adding an outside electrical circuit, and got a professional reference from Oscar on who he recommends. I loved working with Oscar Landscaping. Oscar himself was accommodating and kept expectations clear throughout the project. The team was respectful and took great care of my property and did an excellent job executing every aspect of the job with a well-defined timeline. I definitely recommend. read more

I moved into a brand new home that only had dirt in the backyard. With 2 dogs, I knew I needed to get the yard done quickly. I received estimates from 4 different companies and from the moment I connected with Oscar, I knew he was the person I wanted to work with. His estimate was fair and I was able to do pavers rather than concrete for the same or even less money! His crew was always on time and respectful. The work was done in the time frame promised. My yard turned out amazing!! It's a beautiful place to relax and entertain. Highly recommend Oscar's Landscaping! read more

A quote for yard and lawn maintenance came in at 4x one quote, and 12x another quote. Didn't end up using his service.

We hired Oscar Landscaping for a major landscape installation at our residence in Concord. At every stage in the process, Oscar and his crew were professional, responsive and timely: The request for a first meeting, the estimate, final contract negotiation, and the actual project installation. We gave them very specific layout and irrigation plans and they built everything on the plans with a great attention to detail. The crew is very friendly, skilled and experienced. I appreciated that they took the time to update me, and contact me immediately throughout the project, whenever there was a situation or a question for me to review. They installed all of the following for us with great results: retaining wall, backyard paver patio, grading, roof drain burial, drainage trenches in front and back as permeable dry creek beds, ramped paver walkway to front entrance, gravel and steel edge for permeable surfaces in backyard, and an artificial turf area. Our neighbors and family members are always complementing us on the beautiful landscape we now have. I work in the landscape industry for a Bay Area design-build firm, so I had very high standards for the landscape contractor I wanted to hire. Oscar and his crew exceeded all my expectations - I am so glad we hired them for our project and I highly recommend this company. read more

We have had so many compliments from neighbors and strangers just stopping by to take pictures. Our fence contractor used our front yard picture to promote his fencing company on the cover of Home & Garden insert in the Brentwood Press. When we inquired landscape companies to come out called 5 companies, 2 didn't show up, 2 didn't measure a threw out an obscene number and you came and spent the time measuring on a Saturday morning, we received a realistic quote that evening which we accepted, picked out rocks on that following Tuesday and started on Thursday. I can't believe how organized, on time everyday and how the team cleaned up everyday...it was very refreshing to get this from a contractor. My most important critique with any contractor is communication which I give you 5 plus stars on that. You touched base with me everyday by phone or text to let me know how things were going or if there was any issue. I wish we had more work for you as I now know the quality of work you provide. Thank you so much for making our home so beautiful. Warm regards, Ron & Julie Arguello Brentwood, CA read more

Oscar Landscaping Inc was referred to us by an old friend who was quite satisfied with the extensive work he had done in his backyard. We have now used his services twice. Once to replace a portion of our lawn with a variety of drought resistant flowering plants and shrubs. It also included some rocks, drip system and stepping stones. The work was completed on time, highly professionally, and looks beautiful. Oscar has a great eye for design and his crew is excellent at making it happen. The second job Oscar did for us was to replace another section of grass with artificial turf. Again the work was done with the highest quality workmanship and the new turf is of the highest quality and beauty. Both jobs were professionally quoted and it's clear with Oscar you get what you pay for. read more

Oscar and his team did a fantastic job on our back yard. This was a complete rebuild involving demolition, grading to correct water flow issues, installation of a French drain, adding a river rock bed, installing a new paver patio and pergola. He also installed new gardens featuring drought tolerant plants. The new gardens immediately caught the attention of pollinators, including hummingbirds, butterflies and honey bees. We couldn't be more pleased with the end results. Oscar did a great job of keeping us informed as the work progressed and responding to any of our questions as they came up. His advice on landscape design modifications was great, and resulted in a beautiful, inviting back yard. His team worked incredibly fast - the project took about half the time we expected it to. And they left the yard as neat and tidy as possible at the end of each day. 5 stars! read more

We contacted a couple of landscapers and Oscar gave us the most complete vision for our backyard. Our project required removing a large amount of soil and leveling out the entire 4000 sqft yard. His team only took 4 days to complete the job. Removing soil, leveling the yard, installing a brick patio roughly 20' x 20', and filling in the rest if the yard with mulch. Everything was done well, but it was missing a piece of the pathway. We asked Oscar to fix it and it was fixed during the 4th day of work. Overall, good communication, good quality work, and fast service, both planning and installation. read more

Oscar Landscaping recently completed our long-awaited front yard project, and we can't recommend him and his team highly enough. From start to finish, Oscar and his team were fantastic to work with. Even though we had a design plan completed in advance that we were excited about, Oscar worked with us on changes we requested along the way as well as provided his expertise and input to ensure the delivery of a beautiful, even better project than what we had envisioned. All communication was timely and frequent throughout, and his team's attention to detail was just excellent. Oscar has a team that specializes in all elements of a landscape project including planting, irrigation, lighting and hardscape - all of which were included in our project - and we were very impressed with the crew's expertise and creativity in all these areas. Oscar genuinely cared about delivering a project that both he and us were proud of, and I hope that we have the opportunity to work with him on another project in the future. Contacted Oscar to have an estimate done for some landscaping and landscape design work. He came and immediately provided some good ideas. That is where the good ended. He emailed an estimate for $14,500 to install trees, flowers, plants, mulch, put in a drip system and get rid of an invasive weed taking over our junipers. He was not going to put in weed barrier nor put the standard 2 to 3" of mulch. All in all about 500 sq. ft. job site. He came in 3x what a previous contractor quoted and 2x what a diamond certified landscaper quoted. read more
