After photo 2 - cleaner look at the walkway and lights.
    Andy R.

Oscar and his team did a fantastic job installing pavers (driveway, walkway and sidewalk) + lights and dry-scaping our front yard. Oscar and his team were always very respectful, communicative and helpful. Two additional important things to call out: 1. Oscar was really helpful in ideating and providing suggestions as our plan was not 100% locked in. 2. Oscar was open to changing some items even after work had started. Overall couldn't be more thrilled with how the project turned out.

Oscar, Victor and team, did a great job helping us finalize our backyard plans and brining the vision to life. Their suggestions and knowledge were invaluable in creating a beautiful end product. The team levelled out the yard, installed a small retaining wall, grass, irrigation, a small deck, and a stone walkway that worked perfectly within our space. Communication was great throughout the process and they were able to adjust work schedules to fit around the weather.

Oscar and his team did a phenomenal job with our front yard... it's absolutely beautiful! We cannot recommend his and his team enough! Oscar met with us early on to hear what we had in mind for the project and gave us great recommendations (how to stop the hillside erosion, how to creatively add boulders, which mulch to use, etc). He made us feel comfortable with the project and even offered options to help lower the project budget into our preferred range (which was refreshing for a business!). His team started quickly and finished quickly, but never sacrificed the quality of the work. His crew (shoutout to Chris!) were amazing at their craft and incredibly nice people too. Muneer picked out all the plants after listening to our ideas, getting a sense of our home decor/style, and checking out all our outside spaces. He nailed it! His vision was spot on and the final design was way better than anything that we had envisioned ourselves. The team also laid gopher wire, jute netting, mulch, and installed a full drip/irrigation system Oscar and his team also fixed a separate drainage problem we had on a different part of our house, which included cutting through concrete steps and re-piping the drainage/gutters; they repaired everything and re-poured the concrete steps as if nothing had ever happened. Again, they are amazing at their craft. Oscar stands behind his work, offering to come by and adjust the drip system if any plants are getting enough water or replacing plants that aren't doing well (within reason we're sure, but it's nice that he offered it up!). We will use Oscar and his team for all landscaping work that we need to do in the future. 5 stars all the way!!

I had a large section of my yard that was just dirt after I had an above ground pool removed. I told Oscar I wanted a park like setting and would love to attract butterflies and hummingbirds. He had his plant specialist come out and he did a wonderful job picking out the plants. Everyone who worked on my yard was amazing. This yard far exceeded my expectations. They also put in a new sprinkler timer and a drip system. I highly recommend them!

oscar and his team are top notch. from the first site visit to the end of the project, the team was professional and always gave great advice and direction. alex and pablo did a great job! they were on time, efficient and delivered everything promised. can't go wrong with these guys!

You won't regret working with this team. They're amazing. Fast, courtous, insightful, respectful, and really good at what they do. We got a recommendation from a friend who used Oscar and his team for a project last year after seeing the work they did on their yard. We had them do a bunch of things: level our yard, replace the irigation, redo a fence, put in a french drain, re-tier our yard, replace planter beds, put down flagstone, and handle a rogue morning glory pit. They did all of that in less than 3 weeks. They also really know how and when to scale their team up or down. When they were replacing the back fenceline (and putting in a french drain) they brought about 10 people and did it in 2 days. We've worked with contractors who, no matter how much work they do, never change the team size. We're so happy with the results and are excited to enjoy our new backyard this summer. Thanks Oscar, Muneer, Victor, Alex, and everyone else who made it possible.

We had an absolutely amazing time working with Oscar and his crew at Intuitive Landscaping. Starting with a blank slate (I.E. mud pit of a backyard), Oscar met with us to discuss our ideas/goals and give his professional insights and suggestions that really brought the vision of our backyard's potential to the next level. From start to finish, Oscar and team were super communicative and completed the project at a surprisingly quick clip. In the end they removed a bunch of excess dirt, leveled a paver patio area with retaining wall, added a French drain to protect our back office foundation, created a beautiful custom built bench/planter along the retaining wall, built a raised mulched play area for our new play structure (and built the structure), re-built the fence along one side of the yard, created a storage area behind our back office and built the storage structure we had purchased, set up and irrigation system, picked out and planted all plants for the yard, and added lighting. The transformation is WAY beyond our expectations and we are thrilled with the outcome! I would highly recommend Intuitive Landscaping to anyone looking for a professional team to take their space to the next level! Now we are just counting down until we can tackle the front yard with them...

Oscar and his crew did an incredible job helping us plan and execute a landscaping project in our backyard. This included new pavers, landscaping, artificial turf and a hot tub. Oscar planned and coordinated everything like a true pro, including electrical, plant selection, and lighting. His crew were incredibly efficient and professional. His input on design options along the way were instrumental in making for a result we're already loving. He stayed on time and budget throughout. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

Working with Oscar and the crew at Intuitive Landscape gave my fiancé and I a lot of confidence during our 7-day backyard project because not only were they reliable, communicative, clean, and on-time every day, but they were respectful of the vision we had for our backyard and offered guidance on how to phase out the build. We did excavation, yard removal, leveling, pavers, retaining wall, and drip irrigation. From a cost perspective, they were somewhere in the middle (we got 3 different contractor quotes) so while definitely not cheap--they weren't that expensive either. A benefit of working with Oscar is his excellent communication and A+ service that will make you feel comforted through out the entire process. We can't thank Oscar enough and look forward to working with them again in the future!

Oscar and his team at Intuitive Landscaping are true professionals, going above and beyond, completing the work on time and within budget. They are easy to communicate with and responsive to request and feedback. We are extremely happy with the project the Lu completed for us and will not only use them again for future projects, but we are happy to recommend them to friends and neighbors.

Our experience working with Oscar and the guys at Intuitive Landscaping was simply THE BEST. Some contractors are good (but expensive), some contractors are a nightmare to communicate and work with - Oscar was neither. The process was enjoyable, the project was good value, and my wife and I are thrilled with the final results. Oscar's team remodeled our back yard, which hadn't been kept up in many many years. They added a French drain along the back and side of the house to help protect our foundation, built a patio, leveled a grass tier, built a beautiful dry stacked rock wall to retain the top level for gardening, and planted the fruit trees and California native plants we selected. Oscar's crew went above and beyond with some pro-bono extras to make our yard nicer and more functional, like adding more retaining walls we didn't know we needed and re-mulching and cleaning up our front yard too. What we liked most about working with Oscar was his communication style and honesty. We felt like we were truly working together to collaboratively shape the vision for our space. He gave us options to choose from, shared his expertise, and was flexible throughout the project. His crew was hard working, paid attention to detail, and was easy to communicate with when they had a question or idea to run by us. We're thrilled with the outcome of this first phase of our project (we still need to remove an old carport and finish the last corner of the yard) and can't thank Oscar and his team enough for their hard work. I'd wholeheartedly recommend Intuitive Landscape to anyone looking for a professional (yet fairly priced) team to up-level your yard. (I'll update photos when the final phase is complete and polished up)

Oscar, Victor, and the rest of the crew at Intuitive landscaping did an incredible job! Oscar collaborated with us to come up with an amazing design that saved us a lot of money vs hiring a landscape designer. Oscar has also been very responsive with any questions I have and offers follow up care for the landscaping. Super happy with the final product and will absolutely use Intuitive Landscaping for any future landscaping projects!

We couldn't be happier with our landscaping project. Oscar and his team had creative ideas, communicated well, were flexible and extremely careful. Muneer has a great eye for color and plant design and the crew executed the project flawlessly. We recommend Intuitive Landscaping without reservation.

This is ONLY because we checked daily work and instructed them to fix mistakes and sloppy work. They spent a lot of their time redoing what should have been completed right the first time. Daily progress (or lack there of) showed us that the owner/project manager (Tevita/Mata) is not a good project manager nor that he gave his crew clear direction on this project. The process after contract signing was horrible...not at all professional. The project took much longer than Tevita initially quoted (over 2 months vs the 2 weeks he originally told us). This resulted in change orders and cost overruns. He also tried to charge me to fix their breakage/mistakes/errors (e.g., fixing the sidewalk his workers broke). His crew was not respectful of our property (we had to live with their mess...it's not a vacant lot). They did not regularly clean up the work site nor organize equipment and materials left onsite. Seeing their lunch garbage (cans, bottles, wrappers, etc.) at the end of their workday was common. This continued even after repeated complaints to Tevita and to his crew. No one on site could to provide straight answers as to that day's work or when specific project goals would be completed. Whenever I would spoke with him, Tevita made excuses, provided misinformation, denied deliverables he previously promised, and deflected from answering direct questions. He has a habit of talking over the customer when asked questions he doesn't like. On at least one occasion, he raised his voice and started yelling to avoid answering questions. If it was not in writing, he'd say it wasn't what we discussed. I have never had such issues when working with professional/reputable companies. Tevita and his crew failed to meet every single deliverable date he set. I found him very difficult to work with. I feel that he does not show proper respect to the customer. Instead he appears to think that the customer, the person paying him, should accept subpar work. I suspect that he may also not fully understand the processes involved with the work being performed. I feel that Tevita and Lamata Concrete are not professional. They didn't use professional equipment and they didn't manage the job site or their onsite work time professionally. Their workers typically started late morning and were gone by early afternoon. Lamata Concrete has major logistical problems. They couldn't get an adequately-sized crew or required materials to the job site at the start of any given day, typically interrupting workflow for hours to go fetch supplies. Had they staged materials and tools at the worksite (where there was ample area to store all materials needed for the entire project) and had his crew worked a full 8 hours per day at the job site, I believe they could have finished weeks ago. They are SLOW...3 weeks for a stamped concrete driveway and pathways. I definitely CANNOT recommend them for a cinder block wall. It took way too long (over 2 months) to complete. I feel like they have never built this type of wall. I regret hiring Lamata Concrete. I CANNOT recommend Lamata Concrete nor would I use them again. They were such a hassle to work with compared to the many other professional/reputable companies I have hired. My opinion...take their negative YELP reviews seriously and ask for references and talk to those references. Tevita's response is a great example of how he makes excuses, provides misinformation, denies promised deliverables, and deflects from addressing the real issue. I find it a bit childish and very unprofessional.
