After seeing some stone work at a friends in Lamorinda we were referred to Steve and Avon and the work didn't disappoint. They were 100% on target with the style, their bid (when was the last time you didn't have to do a change order?!) and their layout and leveling recommendations. Also, and very importantly, the crew was always on time, patient with parking challenges, gracious and open to engage. The lead onsite took detailed notes, and the team was methodical and diligent. We have them coming back for two more projects and would refer them first for stone and masonry work. Project: front retaining wall customer cut around coast live oak roots. Back path with steps and landing in pavers, pergola patio leveled and filled with cross hatch brick, back patio in pavers with customer cut edging for grass, brick retaining wall and leveling for new sod, hothbub pad and walls customer cut to fit tub, planter box in pavers. They nailed the whole thing. So good.

Victor and his team really came to the rescue in our driveway project. We wanted to widen our…read moredriveway but there is a gas line and massive tree roots in the area that needed to be excavated. Due to the difficulty and risk involved for excavation, it was hard to find a contractor to take on the job but from my initial consult with Victor, him and his team noted their experience with these scenarios and he was confident they can do it in less than a day. On excavation day they brought the necessary equipment and tools and were very cautious about the gas pipe. They ended up finishing the job in less than a half day! To follow up, we realized we needed more excavation at the apron of the driveway and Victor again came to the rescue and excavated that for us a week later. I sincerely appreciate the time efficiency and skill that Victor and his team have in getting our excavation needs completed. I highly recommend Victor and his team and will always reach out to him first when we need more excavation for future projects. Thanks Victor!

I need to pump my brakes and tells me that oh by the way I owe him $500 still for the retaining wall that he forgot to do even though when I told him to do it, he says oh yeah I forgot about that and now I'm over here trying to do the irrigation and now I know why he ran off and didn't come back because he never connected the pipes and you can't even run the irrigation because all the pipes lead to nowhere. He also told me about his God experience and why I chose him is because of him being so close to God and then he does this to me now I understand why he ran off for three weeks and didn't come back to do the irrigation.

The natural grass was hard to maintain, since the sprinklers were not functioning properly, but the artificial lawn has vastly improved the curb appeal of our father's property. Without increasing estimated costs, Green Planet Landscaping surprised us with an additional amenity that actually rectified an issue raised by the local HOA. Thus, we are 110 percent satisfied with their service. Inasmuch as I live several hours away from Brentwood and Discovery Bay, I did not have the pleasure of meeting Alan in person. However, our communications were very effective and I am delighted to have completed this task as our father's Power-of-Attorney.

After living in our home for a year, it was time to redesign our backyard. I submitted a price quote request on Yelp and received a few responses to schedule a consultation. After meeting with other landscape companies, my choice was to go with Alan at Green Planet Landscape. It wasn't just about the price quote, but Alan's thoughtful ideas and recommendation made us trust him even more with the project. He would make sure our backyard would look amazing and presentable. He drew a sketch design for us to submit to the HOA. After we got an approval from the HOA for the project, Alan scheduled us within a few days. Alan first introduced me to Angel to have him do a walkthrough around the backyard. We had them install stone walls, pavers, artificial turf, and planter beds. The project lasted about 3 days and they did a fantastic job on transforming our backyard. My wife is so in love with plants and was very happy they planted her plants in the soil. Our dogs were so excited and love playing on the turf. I would highly recommend Green Planet Landscape. We finally are comfortable to contact them in the near future.
