I drove all the way from Antioch to Concord with my two-month-old baby to meet him. Upon arriving at 9:30AM, I texted to let him know I was in the driveway of the corner lot home, as the front door is located on a different street. I received no response. After waiting 15 minutes, I tried calling him, but there was no answer. At 9:45 AM, I sent another text asking if he still intended to keep our appointment. Only then did he respond, saying he was in a meeting until 11:30 AM. This was extremely frustrating and a total disregard for my time. At the very least, Carlos could have informed me that he wasn't able to make it so I wouldn't have made the trip unnecessarily. Instead, I was left waiting without any communication. When I pointed this out and expressed my frustration, there was no apology or effort to make things right. This experience showed me how poorly this company values its customers' time. If this is how they handle scheduling for estimates, I can't imagine trusting them with a fencing project. I strongly recommend avoiding Q&Q Fencing and finding a company that is professional, respectful, and communicates effectively.

I apologize for this late review. I hired G&G summer of 2025 to build a 15x22 PVC deck to replace a…read more9x12 redwood deck that was built in 1995. They did a great job and we are very happy with the new deck. I was on a tight time schedule to get the new concrete patio and walkway, and then the deck, done before hosting a celebration of life for my best friend. Gary explained the challenges associated with such a tight schedule (so much so I had to ask if he was trying to talk himself out of a job) which I understood. However, he made an effort to include some weekend/OT work ahead of time to make it happen, and for that he is well respected. It has been a year and the product is holding up well and looks great. In hindsight I would have rather gone with darker, medium brown rather than the light color because of muddy dog prints, but it is still awesome. Gary insisted they will be available and responsive if I have any issues or small repairs going forward. This was a primary factor in hiring G&G so I will update the review when that time comes. I highly recommend G&G Decking and would work with them again.
