Wonderful job removing my former railing and putting in new railings, paint and stain. This was a very professional company. First I connected with someone online and was given an approx quote. Then I had someone else from the company come in person and take a look. He explained how stairs are done and showed me different types of newel posts and railings. I picked my preferred look and we discussed photos I showed as inspiration. He provided a more exact quote. Next I had a carpenter come and basically custom make my stairs. Recently had All Things Interior refinish our kitchen cabinets and could not be happier with the process/results, simply fantastic. The quotation process was both seamless and easy. Worked with Gina in sales to get an initial estimate for the job (based on photographs supplied by me). Once I confirmed we wanted to go ahead with the job, Gina visited to inspect the job and firm up the quotation, the estimate and final quotation were exactly the same. Signing the contract, via DocuSign was very easy and straight forward. Sam and Israel completed the work over a 5 day period, cabinet doors and draws were finished off site. The guys were very pleasant to work with and did a great job cleaning up at the end of each day. The whole process went very smoothly, the finished job is spectacular to put it mildly, everything looks better than new! Gina was great to work with. Very responsive to my questions, great with follow through on doing measurements, obtaining color preferences, and getting sample wood. She was also very respectful in doing her evaluation of my staircase while I worked at home. She wore a mask the entire time. Her team was great, friendly, and professional. They put together a beautiful staircase and rails, completely upgrading the old look. They gave me a heads up when they plan to be loud via drilling, which allowed me to go to a different room to work. They made a slide mistake, using wood for one side of the project vs another. They owned up to mistake, obtained new wood, and addressed the issue. They cleaned up in the house daily when they finished their work. They were consistent in their work hours, getting different folks and their expertise to work on their part of the project as needed. Beyond disappointed, I called last Monday to get a quote and I spoke to a lady who took my info, I was referred by a neighbor and with the same layout but I shared that we would prep the work, that I wanted Iron, and I was told to expect a call and I would go more into detail with someone else. A week goes by, no call. I call back today (5 days later) and I was met with attitude. I expressed I called and hadn't heard back from anyone and the lady who answered said "we don't call back we email." I said ok I didn't get an email she says check your junk mail. Nothing. She resends the email with a quote that has nothing to do with what I requested. I expressed immediately in that moment that I didn't feel like I was being heard or that this was personalized service, she looks back at the notes from my call on Monday and says oooo yes its says here you want iron. I said what is the next step to understand what I want, she responds with "WELL DO YOU WANT TO MOVE FORWARD?" I was shocked that there was no ownership to the horrible service and just met with excuses. I said no thank you and hung up. Are ya'll that busy that giving bad service to a person who wants to do business with you is expectable? Email out fast quotes and hour after I called based on the email time stamp is personalized service? I was given a $13500 quote and I have no idea what it was for or what design since they don't take the time to get to know their potential customers. Warning. This company is not professional. They completed half our job and then sent us to collections. I repeatedly asked them to return to complete the job and they refused. It was pointed out to us, by another stair company, that the company underbid the job. When All Things Interior realized this, they dropped us. We settled with collections and then they started threatening to place a lien on our house. We had to file a complaint against them with the CSLB when they finally ended their shenanigans. I highly suggest you look elsewhere for a stair company. read more

My third paragraph did mention that the store paid half of the repainting. What I forgot to mention is the additional $2000 that we had to pay to fix the shelves and the back splash that is intended to cover the wires, etc. We only had two requests (adjust the shelves and the keyboard tray) so not sure why you said we asked for a million things. If your customers have to pay more than $10k on a project, wouldn't you want them to walk away satisfied with your deliverable? I don't think our requests were unreasonable. We paid extra for the keyboard tray and we would expect the keyboard and the mouse to fit in there. If you recalled, you dismissed the issue and asked that I take out the mouse and put some where after each use. If that's the case, why do I need to pay extra for something that is not functional. We wouldn't have an issue if the gap on the shelves was 1/8 inch but unfortunately it was more of 1/4 and some has bigger gap. Your store may be good at making stairs and repainting cabinet but definitely not good at building bookshelves or built-in office cabinets. read more

We hired All Things Interior on three separate projects and LOVE the work and craftsmanship they accomplished. Our first project was a full kitchen remodel where they modified our existing cabinets with all new drawers, new hardware,added slide outs and removed a cabinet to make way for a stand a lone stainless hood. I'm very particular and was concerned about how painting our existing honey oak cabinets would turn out. They painted them with 5 coats of paint using an air gun. It included 2 coats of primer and 3 coats of paint. They are stunning! It looks like a candy shell. I had 2 other neighbors call them out to paint their cabinets after seeing the amazing job they did. Very impressed! It looks factory direct or better. The second project they completed was a full staircase remodel. Tear out the old honey oak and install all new steps, wrought iron, posts, side skirts and hardware. It completely changed the look of our home and is a showpiece. Absolutely beautiful. We had a carpet runner installed on the steps and the carpet installers scratched the finish on our new stairs. All Things came out and did the touch up to bring it back to perfect. We LOVE the final product. The third project we had done was changing and upstairs built in cabinet from honey oak to a deep espresso color to match our stair railing. They also installed handles and quiet close hinges. It turned out amazing by using the dye coat over the honey oak. Looks very sharp. We plan to have them back out to do some more projects for us in the near future. You will not regret hiring them for your projects, especially if you know you are very particular and demand only the best. read more

All things interior transformed our entry way stairs into a beautiful flowing stairway that catches your eye the minuet you walk in. Once covered in new carpet that quickly turned old and tired it quickly changed with oak treads that match the new flooring that was placed in entry way. They further added a hand rail to a four stair unsafe stair way that transitioned the entry way to our family room. Gina and her team of professionals helped me to understand terms and gave me a new language like balusters and treads and risers. They clear, concise and patient with decision making process. WOWZA! We just had our old metal staircase hand railing removed & a custom staircase railing done through ALL THINGS INTERIOR. First, I have to say that Gina was wonderful to work with--she was easy with scheduling around our busy summer schedules and she was very personable and she is one of the owners--no middle people handling the design, it is her helping to create your vision on her laptop with her 16+ years of experience. Second, we had David at our house for 4 days making from scratch the banister and railings which house the iron, with his sanding and cutting the wood and measuring and being soo precise & soo Awesome! He is such a wonderful talented and friendly man! There was absolutely nothing that was created off site and brought to our home, everything was made specifically for our house. Nothing cookie butter about our staircase railing. David had cut his pencil in half on the lead top so that every measurement was precise and exact. Aamade came on the 5th and 6th day and he stained everything & he installed all the ironwork. Again, nothing was being rushed and everything was perfectly arranged and checked & then rechecked before it was glued into place. Honestly, I think ALL THINGS INTERIOR has a wonderful business model because they have such extremely talented employees working for them! Their employees are very happy at their jobs and they aren't reprimanded to work faster because the end result is what is most important for their clients. These men had both worked for other high-end home developers at Ruby Hills previously & their hard work ethics made them change companies because they wanted to be happy with the cabinets and railings that they made & not be on a time crunch to be off a measurement by 4 inches in order to get something hurried along in corporate companies. I personally find something very refreshing about a company keeping their employees happy and fulfilled and also with their quality being soo high-end. I contacted All Things Interior for an estimate on replacing our 90's golden oak, builder grade stair railing that I had previously painted. Bob came out to do an estimate and we talked through several options, and settled on a combination of a traditional stained oak, but with horizontal black rods for a modern touch. We scheduled the work about a month out, and they actually came a day early to begin work. David literally custom built this stair railing onsite. He is a true craftsman!!! He also took the time to cover everything before he started each day, and then cleaned up (including vacuuming) at the end of each day. A different crew came to stain and install the metal rods, but they also cleaned and vacuumed at the end of the day. Amazing work, great crew, HIGHLY recommend. Gina and Mike are amazing! They are with you on the job from start to finish. We had heard some horrible contractor stories and were a little apprehensive, but these guys exceeded our expectations. Gina explained everything during the initial consultation and Mike and Gina were both always available. Mike did most of the work on our project. We had a bit of a course correction in the middle of the project, and they happily accommodated the change even though it involved re-doing some of the work. One of the best things is that they really know how to customize the look and feel of what you're looking for. They are true craftsmen and women and know how to customize and create something on their own if it is unable to be ordered. The level of detail and time spent is superb and they do not rush to finish because of a deadline or another job they have to get to. They are humble people and do not sugar coat their services. Clearly there is no need to do so because their work and professionalism speaks for itself. I would highly recommend them and their business is probably one of the best. My decision to not work with All Things Interior had nothing to do with pricing. It was more to do with Lack of follow up and Professionalism of an employe. I started my review stating that I see many great reviews for Mike and Gina and I'm sorry that I didn't have the opportunity to work with Mike or Gina. I had one conversation about pricing of the glass railing option where I decided that it was too expensive and inquired more about alternatives. I called and emailed your representative several times with ideas/pictures that I had, I kept at her. I don't feel like I should have to constantly reach out to get quotes! All I wanted was my options and then what was your lead time on install.
