Thanks again Yelp! I am happy I found this family run business. Mike and Gina are very nice and reasonably priced. There were only a few things that resulted in the minus one star, but not a big deal. Mike and/or Gina showed up the first 2-3 days but were very busy to show up the rest of the days so we dealt with their daughter which didn't know too much about fixing some small things. She was busy installing the balusters as well. I wish Mike or Gina themselves were around to manage on the last day to close the job properly. When their daughter and one guy left, the plastic covers were still on my furniture. And not put back in place. There were some chips, touch ups that had to be done when they returned to install the last 3 (backordered) balusters. I was happy to have Mike do the touch ups since he knows his stuff. If I had another project like this again, I will definitely hire them. They are trustworthy. We were on vacation for the first 2 days and nothing horrible went wrong. They moved fast and was impressed how quickly our stairs looked only within 5 days. They got 99% done in time for our party. Overall, I highly recommend them! read more

As I've mentioned in some of my other reviews, I'm a jaded New Yorker who isn't shy about speaking his mind, both good and bad. That said - All Things Interior is as good as it gets. Mike and his team are true artisans, and their work is impeccable. My requirements were complex and not easy to execute, and Mike and his team did an absolutely amazing job. If there's anything better than amazing....then use that word to describe the work they did. Their follow up support is equally as good. There was one small issue that came up after the job was completed. I called Mike that Friday and they were out here the following Monday taking care of the issue. That kind of customer support is worth its weight in gold. Pros: Craftsmanship. Punctuality. Customer support. Clean work space. On-point, pleasant billing and scheduling customer service. I called All Things Interior to have them prep my stairs for carpet. Our stairs were built without a full tread piece where the old carpet laid down the middle of the staircase. Bob consulted with me on the project and explained what we really needed was a carpenter. I'm somewhat handy so he talked me through what I needed to do. After 4 days of work, I completed the work and our stairs are now ready for carpet. Couldn't have completed the work without Bob's insight. If we ever decide to do a full staircase remodel, I'll be calling them back. read more

We contacted Gina for an estimate and assistance in assessing whether it was best for us to reface our kitchen cabinets or pull them out and start from scratch. We first sent photos to Bob who gave us a rough estimate of refacing costs based on the photos alone. Very prompt and friendly in our text message communications. We then scheduled an on-site visit with Bob, which was made quickly and efficiently. Bob arrived on schedule (actually early, which was a plus) and spent a great deal of time with us, answering all of our questions and giving us his professional opinion on all of our options and potential obstacles. He clearly knew his business inside and out and extremely professional. He concluded by promising us a detailed estimate in a few days time and he delivered as promised. The costs were definitely reasonable and affordable. We definitely recommend All Things Interior for your stair project. They just finished putting new stair rails and iron balusters in our home, which included replacing what used to be an ugly half wall upstairs. Gina was very creative and patient with us as we are not easy clients and had some very unique requirements. We needed the rails stained to a custom color and the design to accommodate the automated stair lights that we just finished installing. The results are absolutely amazing. Gina was wonderful to work with. We were looking for some design ideas for our stair rail project and she was the only contractor we got a bid from that brought actual material samples to show us and provided suggestions rather than expecting us to already know what we wanted. She was able to match the stain of our railing perfectly to our wood floors which was impressive. Her carpenter was excellent and worked quickly but efficiently. Even though we made a request for a change to the railing mid-project they were more than accomodating and didn't try to talk us out of what we wanted. We liked their work so much that before the stair project was completed we had hired them to install crown moulding in our living room and hallway that we had been putting off doing ourselves. The moulding work and stair rail turned out great, we couldn't be happier with the results! Cost competitive, very quick completion (they actually show up every day and if not they make sure to let you know ahead of time), and quality workmanship. They made some mistakes, but these projects are complicated, so they're expected. But they own them and resolve, without drama, so it's a non-issue for us. 5 stars for this contractor who I'd recommend to friends and family. read more

I worked with all things interior on a complete staircase remodel. Everything was custom, the wood, the style, even the finish on the stairs and the balusters. They killed it (in a good way). John and David built the stairs and are top notch craftsmen that belong in the artist category. They have an amazing attention to detail and level of perfectionism that is really hard to find. The finishers took extra time and did research to make sure that the oil finish came out as good as possible (and it did). Extra thanks to Alex and Rodney for your precision work. Everyone that worked on this project had such a great level of professionalism. They all begin work by setting up an area that doesn't damage floors and minimizes dust and traffic and they clean up everyday when they are done. Love. Everyone that came through the door cared about the end result, took great pride in what they were doing, and used their heads to question and assess things rather than just blindly working. I had a challenging project that required a lot of care and they really came through. The end result was the absolute best I could imagine and I feel good about every dollar I spent. My stairs are architectural art. Gina managed my project and was incredible. She really spent a lot of time getting it perfect from hand selecting the wood all the way through to getting the right wax and technique on the iron.
