We paid cash, up front for materials for the…read morereconstruction of our deck, but then Elevated Decks Inc took out a line of credit with the lumberyard for the materials (without our knowledge) and has never paid $28,014 they owe! The lumberyard now has a mechanics lien on our property and are threatening foreclosure on our house! There are two other claimants on the contractors bond for similar amounts- so a total of more than $75,000! Be aware of mechanics lien laws when dealing with contractors in general! Do NOT pay up front and make sure you get releases from suppliers for materials during the project! Unfortunately, we have learned the hard way that nice people are not always able to be trusted! They are still using pictures of our deck on this site but we do not authorize the use of those pictures for further marketing. (PLEASE REMOVE THEM IMMEDIATELY!) They have recently changed their company name, address and phone numbers since this happened so be careful when dealing with José or Jessica Cisneros under any company name. This is the second time I am posting since my previous negative review was removed, but I took it up with Yelp and was given permission to repost. Quoted costs to REPAIR work started at $5500 to a range for more complete repairs starting at $15900. 5) We withheld the last $5000 owed due to our costs to complete and repair work, but Elevated Deck dishonestly placed over an $18000 LIEN on our home. 6) Elevated decks bought their materials on credit, so now the lumber company has ALSO placed a LIEN on our home. 7) The bond for Elevated Decks is willing to reimburse some of our money, but since WE ARE NOT THE ONLY CLIENTS BEING RIPPED OFF, so we can only receive part of it.

Sprinklers were removed and the water lines capped. Some sprinklers were moved. Big project! Like most of the contractors in the area, Straightline Fences was booked for almost 2 months. After accepting the detailed quote, we put down a deposit and patiently waited. They started 1 day later than originally scheduled. They communicated in advance the delay. Work seemed to go slow, but there was just a lot that had to be done! The concrete pour was scheduled for a Saturday. There were 9-10 guys all day Saturday for the concrete pour. 3 truck loads of concrete, big project! Everything looks great! The large, 2 section gate for the side access for the 5th wheel was fabricated by Straightline Fence. All of hardware is great quality, no cheap stuff! Follow-up after the work was completed identified a few things needing changing or fixing. Changes and fixes were promptly completed. From beginning to end, Straighline Fences communicated, was professional, made suggestions and answered all of our questions. We felt that the price we paid was well worth the completed project! They don't do just fences. Got a project, give them the opportunity to quote it.
