Aquaman has surpassed that standard, and continues to do great work on any job I recommend him to. Rather than just finding leaks, he actually fixes minor leaks as he finds them. If it isn't something that can be fixed quickly, he always makes a point to explain the issue to the home owner, and refers specialized pool builders who can do a quality repair quickly and with the least amount of impact to the existing pool landscape. I have a relatively large in-ground spa that was losing about an inch of water per day. I called Aquaman on a Friday and they were able to schedule some time to inspect it, and perhaps repair it, on the following Monday. Kenton was the guy who was going to do the work, and he called around mid-morning to say he would be a little early if that worked for us. It did, and he arrived around 30 minutes ahead of the scheduled window. He did what appeared to be a thorough inspection, found the leak at the very bottom of the spa around the piece where water is pulled to supply the spa jets, and was able to fix it within the pre-agreed to price. Called them to detect a leak. They came out on time and tried to find the leak, however we have a 6" jet pipe that they were not aware about and didn't have the right plug for it but somehow managed to plug the pipe. They looked for the leak for 2 hours and no luck. They were apologetic and didn't charge for the service. read more

This is my first Yelp review. I've used Yelp for years and like it. However, I understand that some businesses recruit friends/realtives to write complimentary reviews. Instead I look mostly at the bad reviews.....people don't fake these. As of 8/24/14, Aquaman has only 5 star ratings. And I'm also going to rate them at 5 stars. Our swimming pool seemed to be leaking water. I did the "bucket test" (see Aquaman web site) and determined that the leak was 1/2"-3/4" per day. Kenton and Matty came over, spent several hours finding 3 leaks.....and fixed them. Afterwards I again did the bucket test (twice). Now it seems all leaks have stopped. AquaMan quoted us a price over the phone and said they would FIND THE LEAK and fix it however if there was a leak in the pipes that would require cutting into our brick decking it would be likely $1-2K - if that was the case they would recommend a couple of folks that we could get quotes from. They showed up on time, were so professional and explained all they were doing! They did a complete inspection including donning a wetsuit and getting into the spa and found 2 small leaks (on in the skimmer - where a majority of leaks are - good to know) and a hairline leak at one of the drains. Both fixed and done with in 1 1/2 hours! Our cost $400. We were quoted by another company $6-7K to fix a leak in our in-ground jacuzzi! The folks that gave the quote barely even looked at our spa and said that there were leaks in the pipes that would require them to cut into our brick decking to find it - LIES!! read more

This is the Best & Most Accurate Pool Leak Detection Company Ever!!! After experiencing a major leak for over a month at a rental property that I manage in orange, and having had the worst experience with "2" different leak detection companies who diagnosed the wrong area for the leak and destroyed my concrete in "2" several areas. I finally saw this company on yelp after a contractor highly recommended me to him. I called & scheduled an appt & also spoke directly w/the owner-Kenton who was super kind, honest, seemed to be super confident in his experience & expertise in leak detection and said he would make it out as soon as possible, especially being that the leak was severe & neither of the other companies had been successful. Kenton came out about 4days later, w/his his employee-John, & worked for over "2" hours to pinpoint the mysterious leak, until it was finally located. The leak happened to be underground, beneath concrete, in the completely opposite site of the yard then the other "2" companies had falsely diagnosed. I was soo thankful and relieved that the leak was finally pinpointed, these guys were the Absolute Best & I would NEVER use anyone else. So my pool seemed to be needing water way too often so I called Aquaman. I was told to take the bucket test which I did and then we set up an appointment. At the scheduled time the doorbell rang and when I opened the door, there stood two men in wetsuits and bare feet. I had to laugh. Kenton came out to service my pool for a minuscule quarter inch per day leak. He was very professional; hopped into the pool and inspected the entire perimeter at least twice looking for minute cracks. He removed the pool lamp and inspected the cavity and conduit exit. The skimmer and there bottom drain were thoroughly checked out along with the PVC water inlet pipe and surrounding surface. He was able to found 3 cracks along the top perimeter and epoxy sealed them plus several other preventative crack-like seams as a precaution.
