The person to whom I spoke with on the phone thought my question was funny and I told him you must be licensed to do the work you claim to do. He said, "bye bye." What horrid customer service. Outstanding work. We had Aqua come give us a quote for our leaky cocktail pool and spa that had been neglected for years when we bought our house. We just finished with the repair and we're beyond thrilled with how the work came out. They replaced the skim box and rebuilt the waterfall features for the spa. Our tile work was done in the 70s and over time some cracked off. Chris the owner of the company is very punctual during the leak detection. Chris appears to be very knowledgeable. Was able to detect the leak quickly. Not only is he good at what he does. He told us the project would take 3 days and he finished it in two. His price was super reasonable. I had a return line that was copper that was leaking but we ended up doing return and suction line since the suction line was also copper. Change the whole system to pvc which is better. Chris even recommended to move the pump back which gives more backyard space which we love the idea included in the price. I had a family emergency to take care of after the quote that needed my attention and he never pressured me with booking a date for the work. He asked me how long I needed to figure out what I needed which I told him and remind me when it was close to time to see of I was ready to get work done. I needed a pool company to come in and empty dirty water from a non operating back yard pool. I requested numerous requests for a quote and this company was the only one to respond. A company rep contacted me immediately and advised that they could send someone out the following morning to handle my pool issue. We agreed on a very affordable flat rate and made the appointment. The following morning, two company employees arrived at 1030 sharp as agreed and immediately went to work. It was a big and very dirty job but these employees completed the job in a timely manner on a very hot and extremely muggy day. I noticed that I was having to fill up my pool every 4 days, when I usually fill it up every 2 weeks. Immediately, a sense of dred set over me. My worst nightmare was coming true. I sent out a message through Yelp for someone to come and check it out. I received lots of responses, and most of them would come in 2 weeks and cost a lot more than I was willing to spend. Glad I found these guys because they were willing to discuss the solutions and keep the project as close to my budget. I called someone else before Chris and they tried to add more unnecessary stuffs to the job which would cost me a lot more than what I was supposed to spend. First, I bought this house last year but the pool plaster was cracked and it came with copper pipes. Also, there were leak holes in the skimmer. So, we decided to replace it with new PVC pipes and stripped down the old plaster. I didnt want to install new tiles so I told them to cut a line below it and redone with new plaster. Chris was being very helpful and honest about the costs and the problems they found. Overall, quality job and lets see how long it will hold up. I noticed my pool losing about 1/2 inch of water everyday during spring time when the weather was still cold. So obviously it wasn't from normal evaporation and there was a leak somewhere. They even gave me estimates for the costs of repairs from possible scenarios. I noticed my swimming pool was losing a lot of water and after I confirmed it wasn't due to evaporation I knew I had a dreaded pool leak. And of course I had family coming to town. He found the leak and gave me a really sound quote to do the work which consisted in replacing my skimmer and also the copper suction pipe leading from the skimmer to the pool pump (both had leaks).
