Arman was contracted to project manage the replacement of my skimmer and redoing the pool with MIDNIGHT BLUE pebble tec. From Day 1 he was disorganized. He held on to my $4500 deposit from April 7th until May 3rd when the work finally began. The pool sat in a demo state from May 3rd until May 15th when the plumbing work began. The pebble tec was completed on May 22nd. A 2 week process took 6 1/2 weeks. Arman refilled the pool and did not return to complete the required re-entry process. Oh ...and I have a GREEN pool that looks like a dirty lagoon instead of the midnight blue I ordered. Do with this information what you will. He talks a good game but does not deliver what he promises. UPDATE: 6/8/25 I received a call from the subcontractor who did the plumbing and tile work. When we moved in, there was algae (which Arman quickly eliminated) and a lot of staining (which he was able to mostly clear up, except for a couple particularly stubborn stains). He shows up every week, texts us when he is here, and keeps everything working smoothly. For the periodic filter cleanings, he sends us before and after pics. He also answers all the random questions we have and is generally super helpful. We had an air leak and the pump would not prime. Platinum Pools responded right away and came out the next day. He found a leak in one of the pipes as well as a problem with the check valve. He fixed both and explained to me how everything worked on our pool system. Our pool equipment is pretty old and I didn't have a clue which way the valve handles changed the water flow. We have been fighting water leaks in our pool for the last 3 years.  It seems our waterfall feature was too heavy for the wall below to support.  After finding that the leaks were all below this feature, we chose platinum pool to do the repairs and, so far, I'm glad we did.  The waterfall has been demolished and is being replaced by a tanning ledge, as a means of sealing and reinforcing the damaged wall.  They have done everything possible to accommodate our design ideas.  Though they are only halfway through the project, it's easy to see they have the people, knowledge and experience to see it through.  I look forward to placing another 5 stars on the review after completion.  I would highly recommend them to anyone doing renovations and repairs to their pool. read more

Our spa stopped working so I called Platinum Pools and Spa. They were able to come out and look at it right away, which was very helpful. They opened it up and found a pair of swim googles stuck inside. Once removed, the spa worked well again until I tried to refill it. Suddenly it wouldn't hold water at all! I was worried that it could have been broken when it was taken apart, so I called them again. They understood my concern and came right back out to make sure that the problem wasn't related to their work. My pool had a nasty infestation of black algae. I struggled for a couple of weeks shocking, brushing vigorously and hitting it with algaecide, but not much progress. I got in contact with Arman and he came out, drained the pool, pressure washed and hit all the algae with liquid chlorine wash, then balanced the chems, tuned my pump for optimum performance and got everything dialed in.
