They did major pool repairs post Eaton fire and handled our home with extreme care. The owner continues to respond to service calls and any questions (usually user error) timely and sweetly. Great experience. read more

Living Water provided the start-up services for my pool after it was replastered. They provided excellent service and communication. I received a text daily informing me of that day's scheduled service. Very friendly, polite, thorough. read more

These guys have been cleaning our pool weekly for years. They do a great job, the communication is excellent, and they're all really nice. Recommend. read more

Gilbert is amazing! His team maintained and fixed my community pool in LA. Anytime a small issue occurs, Gilbert and his team appear instantly and resolve it with accurate reports on what happened and what the fix was. They also have caught a few issues and have done some preventative maintenance or repairs for us! He is kind, easy to talk to, and cares for the community as if it's his own. I have even recommended him to my colleagues and they plan on reaching out solely because of how professional Gilbert is to work with. read more

Great company. Worked with Living Water for the last 25 years. Their clients always have nothing bad to say about them. Highly recommend. A classy outfit. read more

My pool looks great, but then it did when they began. Very expensive and as others have noted not always the same pool person. One even sits outside for 5 to 10 minutes before coming in.... I only notice because I now have a camera to the front....but that is OK as long as the pool is serviced. hard to judge when you have been taking care of it for decades... but no longer can. read more

I've been using Living Water to care for my pool since I bought my house 3 and a half years ago. They really are a wonderful company. I think so highly of them I've even referred them to friends who have started using them. But today they went above & beyond. I reached out to them because my pool filter was losing pressure over the weekend. In less than 90 mins they were out at house. Turns out it was an easy fix and they had my pool back up & running in no time. Thank you Caleb, Shaun, Daniel and everyone else at Living Water who constantly provide 5 star service. I can't recommend LW highly enough. Reach out to them for your pool care needs. You won't regret it. read more

This pool service is a hoax! First of all, there is NO CONSISTENCY with who is going to service your pool. They advertise that this is a family-owned business, but the pool service technicians they send out can change on a weekly basis, and the technicians do not know your pool or your equipment. They must be subcontracting new people or hiring new people constantly with a high turnover. None of them are really knowledgeable. My pool was full of algae and nobody had told me. Secondly, Caleb acts very stuck up as if he doesn't need the customer, and is not genuine or kind. There is Zero customer service. Thirdly, their pool service is very expensive for absolutely no reason! You would think that you're getting superb service, but the opposite is true. There are many better pool service companies in the area, who actually appreciate you and are better and less expensive. Stay away! read more

The BEST service and care. I can't even begin to explain how amazing they are!!!!! We use this business for our clients so it's a little more complicated as we are talking on behalf-of of our clients and couldn't be more happy with the communication/ service we have received so far. Definitely will be recommending them to more clients when and if they need pool services! read more

I have used LWP for about ten years now and am thrilled with the service they provide. In addition to weekly pool maintenance, they are always available when something goes wrong with the pool equipment. One call and they get someone knowledgeable out here to fix it (or point out user error!). Highly recommend Caleb and his crew. read more

I've lived at this apartment complex for years and each year our pool is green half the time. Not since John from Living Water Pool Service has been our Tech! It's crystal clear all the time! I've recommended this business to friends and family! Thanks for clean and clear waters! read more

Living Water Pool Service - Pool Cleaners Near Me - La Canada, California

Very professional company. Caleb the owner is always quick to respond. Emilio services the pool and is always thorough & friendly & professional. I had an issue with my filter pump not turning on a few days ago and then it started working so I didn't contact them & just mentioned it today in passing when Emilio was here servicing the pool. Caleb & Emilio spent extra time making sure the pump & all my pool equipment was programmed properly even though I had said it seemed to be working again. read more

Living Water Pool Service - Salt water pool - always clean with no issues! - Pool Cleaners Near Me - La Canada, California

We started using Living Water Pool Service last Summer. Our current service seemed to be pretty outdated and wasn't spending more than 5 minutes on the pool cleaning. I found LWPS online and Zach came over for a consultation and he was very nice and professional. We have been using their services since and are very happy with everything. They have also been accommodating when we have a had a couple of special requests. read more

We changed to this company. It was more expensive than most but we figured that with good quality it would be worth the price. This was for a rental home that we had and we relied on communication and honesty for pool service. Upon checking rental after years of service we found our pool in complete disarray. The filters hadn't been changed in years. See photos of what we found after years of service. Completely unacceptable and we know we were completely taken advantage of. I do not recommend this company. read more

So far so good. One of the best pool co in town. The water quality and pool Condition has been incredible since they took over. They do a great job and I highly recommend them. read more

We have been using Living Water for 4+ years now and they are FABULOUS! They are consistent, their team is knowledgeable and our pool is always sparkling clean! read more

So this is really disappointing. I was a long time customer of LWPS. They were always more expensive than their competitors, but the service was good. However, every-time a service was recommended the quotes had no detail. I'd ask for a breakout of parts and labor and amount of time required for the service. I just ended my service with LWPS, because Caleb was very annoyed with me when I asked about the hourly rates for labor. My curiosity was promoted by two quotes for the same work that had different prices. Which of course led me to doing some research about the service. Like everyone I expect a mark up on the parts. I did not expect a double mark up and I expected a standard rate for labor. He said all the services were flat rate. I asked for the rate card. He couldn't provide either. Then I did some math, based on the hours of work vs the quote and After reviewing previous invoices, it turns out that the pool techs are charged at anywhere from $156/hr to $210/hr. That's almost much as my attorney. Either way we called it quits. I highly suggest shopping around for quotes before you engage with their service. read more

These guys have been our pool service company for several years now. They are the fifth pool company that I've had in as many years of having a pool. I have to say I literally never think about my pool anymore! They take care of every little detail. They show up exactly when they say they are going to show up. They run my pool equipment to ensure that it works. And then, to top it all off?! My painter was here on a Saturday and accidentally dropped a bucket of paint in my pool!!! I called Caleb and before I knew, and without even realizing they'd come and gone, they completely handled the spilled paint! I love them. They are the epitome of professional. I wish I'd had them from the first day I had a pool they would've made everything so much easier. And cost???? 5 stars no question it's a bargain for the service and peace of mind read more

My condo HOA hired Living Water to take care of our pool when we got to the end of the rope with our old pool company. Our pool was always green and looked terrible. Ever since switching to Living Water our pool has been sparkling clean. Sean and his team are very responsive and their prices are reasonable. We would not hesitate to recommend Living Water to anyone looking for pool maintenance. read more

No way. I just got "let go" by this company. THIS after they tried to bill me halfway through the month with an increase... and then they volunteer to fix something and send me a bill for over $220. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES. Thanks a lot guys for sending me a letter while I was on vacation to let me know you aren't coming back. Where the heck is my key? JERKS. read more

We began using Living Water about 6 months ago. I was very impressed with them from the beginning and we remain very happy customers. My husband had been servicing our pool for the past 12 years. It was generally clean, but it was a daily pain, plus every now and then we would have algae problems - and he detested having to deal with that. But the biggest problem was that I couldn't swim in the pool. The chemicals were just too harsh and it really irritated my skin. I just figured I was hyper sensitive to chlorine. However, after only a few weeks of service from Caleb and Sami, I COULD SWIM IN MY OWN POOL AGAIN! They worked really hard at the outset to get the pool chemicals into balance. I have been extremely pleased with their attention to service. Caleb is great and Sami always comes with a smile on his face and is the sweetest gentleman! When we totaled the cost we were spending on chlorine and chemicals, it really was not that much more to have Living Water come and take care of everything. Now, my husband just scoops out the leaves once a day and our pool stays beautiful, clean and algae free. But the best part is that I can swim in it. I really didn't know how much the chemical balance effected the pool - and my skin. Thank you, Caleb and Sami - for such spectacular service! read more

Caleb and his team at Living Water are EXCELLENT. We recently moved to La Canada, and I'm a first time pool owner. Our pool is salt water. Caleb, Sergio, and Jake have been responsive, knowledgeable, communicative, and professional in their service of my pool. They show up when they say they will, they do a great job, charge fair prices, remain consistent, and have superior knowledge of the pool equipment and technology. I wish every business operated like Living Water and I would recommend them to anyone! read more

When nothing but bad things happen to you and your first six months of being a widow you have to look for the good things, mine came in the form of Caleb Brown. Let me give you a little background: when the rain finally stopped I had to start putting water in my swimming pool! But every day for a week? My pool man J. said I had a leak! Just my luck! He called living water pool service in Lacanada and the owner Caleb Brown called me the same day! We made an appointment for his repair crew to come that week! The next day he called and asked me if I was going to be at home and could he come over and look at the pool equipment. That is when I met one of the nicest people ever! He even took the time to explain to me how the sonar worked! If it detected any leaks on the outside of the pool or if they didn't find anything they would put them on wetsuits and check the drains and lights in the pool and spa, so when they did they found not one but two leaks on the outside of the pool. Caleb called me right away to let me know that the main leak was in the skimmer and it had to be replaced. The second one was close to the pool equipment! Both required digging out the cement walkway and it was going to be expensive...It took the crew four days to repair plus before they even started all the plumbing to the equipment started pouring water out of it!!! So now they had to fix that too... when they were finished they gave me the bill and I noticed that the plumbing wasn't on it, they called the office and Caleb told them he wasn't charging me for it!!! This is the only way an 84-year-old can pay it forward, so please call Living water pool service and La Cañada, their kindness changed my life and now I know what my daughter meant when she said Caleb was paying it forward... We have had excellent service and excellent communication for our pool in Glendale. Questions are responded to within minutes. Billing is clear and electronic. My husband checks the chemical levels in the pool water before our little ones jump in and the chemical levels are good. We add a little chlorine into the pool half way through the week (Living Water provides the chemicals). read more

I'm not a huge Yelp reviewer but I felt compelled to write about these guys. I was renting a place in LA for two months not to long ago and these guys were awesome. When I first got to the place I was renting the pool was a mess; green water, 80s mechanical stuff all over the place, the patio was disgusting and covered with dirt and mold etc etc. So after calling the owners and complaining they had these guys come out to clean it up. When they were done it was a night and day difference. Clear water, patio was power washed and all the mechanical stuff was repaired. More importantly the guys that came out to do the work were very nice and professional. They didn't daudle and shockingly enough they were on time even with wild LA traffic. The whole process took these guys two visits but it was awesome to chill by the pool when they were done. If it was my pool area I would defiantly call theses guys. read more

Austin and Caleb were both very understanding and sensitive to my above ground spa situation. Though they could not personally get it fixed they both worked with me diligently to find who could and get it right. While I can not refer who fixed my spa out of distance because I'm out of his coverage area I can say that it was done professionally and on time. Thank you to both Austin and Caleb for your help. I'm a happy camper. read more

We recently bought our first home and we were looking for a trustworthy and dependable pool service. My husband and I are often away on business trips which can make scheduling in general, very tricky. Caleb was so accomodating and professional during our first phone conversation. He came out first thing the next morning to meet us and take a look at the pool. He was extremely knowledgeable and we both felt so comfortable with him. We signed up that day for pool maintenance. It's been a year now under care and we are highly satisfied. The pool technicians are quick to take care of any requests and pleaseant to talk with. We had an acid wash done a month ago and WOW! Looks like a brand new pool. Love these guys and we highly recommend them! read more

I don't like being surprised by extra fees on my bill. The last bill I received had an $85 fee for pool conditioning, on top of the $80 monthly pool service fee. I asked the pool guy two days later when he had conditioned my pool, and he said he had never conditioned it. NOT OK! Done with this pool service. You're not going to charge me for a service that has never been done! read more

This is the worst company ever! The pool guys left my water running in the pool twice. I came home to find my pool over flowing. DO NOT USE THEM. read more

Incredible service. Our pool is an older pool with older equipment and they take care of it perfectly. I would recommend them.

Caleb is a fantastic business owner and here's why: his service guy screwed up. Our vinyl lining was compromised because of very high chlorine numbers over the past winter. We braced ourselves for a tough conversation with Caleb, one in which we hoped we wouldn't have to make demands and even get a little shouty. Caleb was understanding, immediately acknowledged the problem and responsibility for it -- then offered to pay to rectify the situation. Everyone screws up. Every business, every business owner, every employee. It happens. But few have the grace and integrity to own it. Caleb will always have our loyalty because we know, going forward, he will always deal with us with respect and accountability. I became particularly aware of how unique this trait is when we dealt with another company, Aqua Masters who were great on the front-end, i.e. the sale, but unfortunately lacking in follow through and courteousness. One week after the installation of a new pump, which was not installed entirely correctly, they threatened us with taking the outstanding bill to a collections agency. One week! Quite sure Caleb would never do the same, knowing that sort of unnecessary squeeze does not engender good feelings, let alone return customers. Caleb and Living Water do exactly what is needed: provide peace of mind, expertise and an approach to business in which the customer is heard. read more

We just moved to the area and we were having trouble calibrating our Salt Cell and the chlorine levels. Caleb came out and knew exactly how to correct the situation. He was on time, professional, courteous, thorough and extremely knowledgeable. I will highly recommend Living Water Pool Service to friends and family, so you know I am impressed. We will definitely use Caleb's services for our salt water pool. read more

I purchased a home with the ClearSwim pool system. ClearSwim is a new, sophisticated, healthy approach to pool maintenance. Living Water Pool Service had never worked with the system but they were so committed to helping me maintain my investment that the owner of LWPS called and met the creator of the new technology at my house to get a 1-on-1 lesson on the system. Do I need to say more? Service, quality, knowledge were all A+! I highly recommend this company. read more

I found these guys on Angies List. they don't service my area but they went out of their way to call around to find me someone. the person they found seems really good. Insured and bonded and lots of references. I don't know if they clean pools well but they were certainly helpful. Thanks Caleb! read more

I am going to have to agree with the last review. I gave them three stars because they are very nice and will do a great job cleaning your pool. However they are expensive and do charge you for pool conditioning, filter cleaning, extra chemicals in the Summer...it just seems like a lot. They tack on these extra charges two months ahead of time because of their billing cycle...not sure why they don't charge the fees when they actually do the extra work. If you don't care about money then they are great. read more

Worst service ever!!! I mailed them my checks multiple times, but they still claim that they never received a payment. My bank statements said otherwise. They cashed my check right after I mailed it out! A piece of advice, never use the service from this company!! read more

After several attempts to get our regular pool service to fix our broken pool light, in desperation I turned to Living Water. Caleb and co. were able to diagnose the issue and replace the light and enclosure reasonably quickly and at an acceptable price. Their price for regular maintenance is quite a bit higher than our current service, but we may end up switching to them eventually because, as they say, "you get what you pay for." In any event, whether we switch to them in the future or not, I will definitely be seeking out their expertise for any future pool problems. read more

After purchasing our home in April 2014, we hired Caleb and his team to fix the light in our pool, which had apparently died several years prior. Caleb was so professional, responsive, and easy to work with, that when it came to re-doing our entire pool this past June 2016, I gave Caleb a call again. Caleb's pricing was competitive with other offers I received, but I again hired Caleb and his team because I knew the quality of service and attention our project would receive. And I was not disappointed. Living Water partnered with San-Rock Pool Plastering to offer a complete solution and we now have a beautiful, energy efficient, much-loved pool. read more

As a woman with admittedly high expectations when it comes to service on my property, I have been absolutely THRILLED with the service of Living Water!!! My husband and I are willing to pay for great service, and Living Water Pool Service has been worth every penny! Our pool technician is incredibly efficient, knowledgeable, and trust worthy. He really goes above and beyond every time he is at our home. Whenever an issue arises with the functionality of our pool system, they are on top of it immediately. I swear these guys are chemists. Their knowledge of not only the water chemistry but of the equipment and systems of our pool (heaters etc.) is unmatched. The women in the office are so kind and efficient! Should I go on?? I can not say enough good things! read more

Living water pool service has been a fantastic find for me. Caleb is very friendly and attentive to the needs of his customers. I have a small aboveground pool that could be very finicky and he has always taken the time and patience to get it up to speed even though most companies would not give an above ground pool the time of day. My regular cleaner Jeremy is absolutely fantastic and always works around my schedule and any needs I may have. I would highly recommend living water pool service for anyone because they give you personalized attention and great customer service. read more
