I am beyond grateful to the SoCal Pool Boys team! We initially called them in August 2024. After negotiating, we finally decided to move forward in early September. I anticipated the pool would not be ready until the following year. However, I am astonished with how fast this entire process really was! We officially passed our final inspection on January 3rd 2025! The pool is absolutely gorgeous and I cannot wait to host friends and family this year! If you are looking for a pool company that knows what they're doing, give SoCal Pool Boys a call!

SoCal Pool Boys did a phenomenal job building the pool of our dreams! My husband and I looked at three different pool companies, but we are so glad to have chosen this family business! Their professionalism, communication and amazing craftsmanship has left us very satisfied customers! From signing the agreement to finally taking our first swim We have done some small remodeling in our home, but nothing to this magnitude. Let me tell you, our pool construction process was very smooth and organized! The city did throw us a curveball with the property line, but we were able to get everything resolved in a timely matter. Thank you to Robert, Santiago and the rest of the SoCal Pool Boys team! We are so excited for the pool parties coming this 2025!!

We have been using SoCalPoolBoys services for more than 15 years beginning with the Robert Rodriguez SNR and continuing with his son Robert Rodriguez JR. We have a salt water pool. They are both professional & highly competent. Unfortunately we are relocating to N CA and must say goodbye. They provide regular service and respond quickly when things go wrong between cycles ( as things will go wrong from time to time ). Each service included chemical testing , cleaning and salt solution %. A major filter cleaning was performed about each 6 months and we were always kept informed about any other wear & tear issues as , after all , a pool is run by mechanical equipment such as pool pumps etc and they do wear out from time to time. They are priced competitively and we highly recommend them . This is a family run business and they are extremely nice people .

If I can give 100 stars to SoCal Pool Boys I would. I have been shopping around for pool service for weeks and thank goodness, I finally came across their eye-catching postcard flyer in the mail. Robert, the son of the father and son duo came to the house and he could not have been nicer and respectful. Even my dog who came within 5 feet from him and who barks at EVERYONE didn't even snarl one single bit. I was shocked. Robert was absolutely professional and knowledgeable and explained exactly what he will be doing, what to expect and when he will finish. He cleaned my pool filter like no other and did a FANTASTIC job. You can see on the picture how filthy, gunky and green my filters were which I have neglected to do for over a year. He was so thorough and really cleaned those filters like it was his own system. I couldn't believe how he was able to restore them. Robert also disassembled my backwash valve and lubricated it simply because I mentioned to him that its handle has been getting more and more difficult to maneuver (push and pull) which was causing a leak. Now my backwash works perfectly - like new. Who does that for their customers? Not very many, that's for sure! My filter system is now functioning the best it's ever been! For this, I am absolutely grateful! If you are in the market for pool maintenance service, look no further! SoCal Pool Boys are your guys!

I have been a customer with SoCal Pool Boys for over three years and Ive always been quite content with their outstanding service. One Friday three weeks ago l awoke to my pool having a noticeable amount of water loss and discolouration just the weekend before l was to host a " pool party" so my anxiety went extremely high . I immediately called the SCPB office and expressed my frustration. Robert was able to come out on such short notice , did a full inspection until he defected a leak . He proceeded to fix it filled my pool and made it all beautiful again by that same evening. I cannot express my gratitude enough for his time and efficiency ! Prior to working with SoCal Pool Boys, we had some frustrating experiences with other pool maintainers that had left our pool in bad shape. When we contacted SoCal Pool Boys for a quote for resurfacing our pool, we were wary, but Robert came to assess the situation and immediately put us at ease. He was knowledgable, professional, and really kind and courteous. We were able to move forward quickly with the project. The resurfacing was completed in less than a week and turned out beautiful. Robert who I talked to was really nice and seemed to know my system really well (Salt Chlorine Generator). I have a Hayward and it was working great and my pool water was balanced when SoCal Pool Boys took over. Robert just said I needed a little more conditioner. The problems came when he had a guy assigned to my house who started pouring chlorine into my pool every week. He even did this once without checking the water first. I checked the water after the second time he poured the chlorine into my salt system pool and the chlorine was sky high. I talked to Robert about it and he said they don't pour chlorine into salt system pools unless it's very cold out. He assured me the guy assigned to my house wouldn't do it again. Well the next week the pool guy did it again. I then stopped services and hired another pool person who came in and confirmed that my chlorine levels were way too high. read more

We live in the Eaton Canyon Fire zone which caused debris from the ashes to contaminate our swimming pool. The pool water was turning green which had us worried about mosquitoes setting up home in our pool. My husband Ezequiel searched Google for pool replastering and found SoCal Pool Boys. He looked at their rating of 5 stars and gave them a call and was impressed by their professionalism. Ezequiel explained to Robert, who is the CEO of SoCal Pool Boys exactly what needed to be done. Our pool pump needed to be replaced, tile to be cleaned, and most of all to be replastered. It took a week for Pool Boys from start to finish to complete the restoration of our pool. We are more than pleased with the quality of the work they did to have our pool sparkling and crystal clear. Our pool light did not work. However, with their pool service experience the light is now working. We cannot say enough about how the restoration of our swimming pool is far better than several other pool companies we have used in the past. When we bought our house three years ago, we knew the pool needed to be redone. Unfortunately, because of other major repairs, we had to wait. Our house was a flip, and whoever patched up the pool before us did a quick, cosmetic job that started falling apart within months. The plaster came off in sheets, the 1960s tile was covered in decades of calcium buildup, the coping was old red brick with mortar literally crumbling out, and some jets and plumbing didn't even work. The pool was technically swimmable, but it was depressing to look at. This summer our weekly pool cleaner told us the plaster was about to fail completely, so we started calling around for estimates. Most of the big corporate companies gave us inflated quotes and made us feel like just another job number. A trusted friend recommended Oscar's, so we checked Yelp, saw all the great reviews, and gave him a call. Within a week of signing, his crew demoed the entire pool in just a few hours. We got to choose tile from several suppliers and ended up with a beautiful pebble mosaic that matched our house. At first, we thought we'd keep the old red brick coping, but at the last minute we switched to a modern dark gray brick. Best decision ever! It completely transformed the look of our backyard. As often happens with older homes, surprises came up: our original 1964 gas and electrical lines were corroded and had to be replaced. Oscar handled everything--brought in trusted contractors, coordinated the work, and saved us the headache of dealing with multiple companies. While we were at it, we upgraded our equipment to a top-of-the-line Jandy system with Wi-Fi controls, plus added a heater and automatic pool filler. Yes, the budget went up, but every upgrade was worth it. Watching the transformation was amazing. Once the new tile, coping, and plaster went in, it felt like we had a brand-new pool built from scratch. The white plaster makes the water sparkle, the equipment runs quietly and efficiently, and with the heater and lights, we can swim comfortably day or night, year-round. Beyond the work itself, what made the experience so special was Oscar and his family. He's personable, honest, hardworking, and clearly cares about his craft. His crew was professional, respectful, and fast. By the end, it felt like we weren't just hiring a contractor--we were working with people who truly cared about making our home better. We have struggled to find a reliable pool service for our area after the lockdown for COVID 19. I am glad we found SoCal Pool Boys because that search is over. We are thrilled to have hired SoCal Pool Boys for several reasons. Robert helped with the improving of our pool and making it look brand new -- it is over 20 years old. He walked us through the process and got us what we needed. They cleaned the tiles and brickwork with a chemical wash. Next we got our pool re-plastered and it is dark grey again. It is beautiful. All of these improvements happened very quickly. Their weekly service is great and they actually care about their work and want you to be happy. Consider hiring them for your pool needs.
