I received APS as a provider from Hikvision as they provided me a list of their approved service vendors. I worked with Aaron first, he was responsive, on time, knew exactly what I needed, and his partner Jerry replaced a new Hikvision camera. Very solid service and company! read more

We had poor service from our alarm company and our system was over twenty years old and in need of updating. I had two companies come out and give us estimates and we are very happy we found APS. The owner Arron came out to look over our property and we were very impressed by his knowledge of the technical aspects of both our old system and the new systems available today. After he looked over everything he made some very practical and useful suggestions. (about both fire safety and alarms) He got back to us with an estimate and schedule of installation when he said he would. The price was very acceptable and included top grade equipment so we decided to go with APS. We have a large property with several buildings so the installation involved a lot of work. Throughout the process Arron kept his appointments with us and was always on time. When a delay came up he called to let me know before hand. They did a great job of sorting out and straightening up all of our old wiring. We were so happy with the results that we decided to have APS inspect and make some changes for another large property we have close by. We have switched all three properties to APS for service and 24 hour monitoring. The price is very competitive and we are saving money with APS! Arron is a very conscientious and organized and I highly recommend APS. read more

Outstanding customer service- from the very first phone call with Aaron to his visit of our home to give us a proposal, his responsiveness and willingness to tailor a home security system that's right for us, to the utter professionalism, patience, and thoroughness of the installation technician, Jerry, I am very impressed with APS and *highly* recommend it. So glad we chose APS among other proposals. Two thumbs up! read more

These guys are really great. Punctual and on time and no long term contract required. Thanks again!

APS is a well organized, dedicated service to protect my neighborhood, Cheviot Hills. Vernon, the owner, is aware of all that goes on in our neighborhood, and really cares. They will do anything that you ask of them. Michael, the patrolman for my area, knows all the residents and gives personal service that exceeds his job description. I recommend them highly. ...................................Gary O read more

I researched security systems and read nightmare scenarios of peoples experiences with other companies. And we too had spoken to other companies where the representatives sound like they are at the bottom of a well ,have absolutely no knowledge of how their system works, change their pricing with every conversation and have no support system whatsoever. Then I read the reviews of APS ! I gave them a call and was very impressed with Aaron (as was everyone online who has had dealings with him). He had Ryan come to our home . Having read all the comments on YELP for APS I was already aware of how terrific Ryan is . And yes he lived up to all expectations! Extremely competent, great interpersonal skills and very patient ( a must when teaching newbies how to use the system). APS is a great choice for a security system and with Aaron and Ryan you are in the very best of hands. read more

Simply Awesome!!! Great service! The one security system we check with that I actually knew what they were doing and could help us figure out the best way to secure home I highly recommend Ryan! read more

Let me add my kudos for APS Security. No hard sell, they are low key but highly professional. I had an old security system in my house that had been unused for around 10 years, Aaron came out and looked at what was there and determined that all the existing wired door and window sensors from the old system were still functional and didn't need to be replaced. They won't try to sell you anything you don't need. Ryan and his partner (Fidel?) did a great job on the installation. They took great care in explaining how to use the system and answered all of my questions both onsite and afterward by phone. I highly recommend them. read more

Could not have had a better experience in working with APS. Aaron is the consummate pro, incredibly patient and responsive, helping me choose through a myriad of options and guiding me to a terrific system for me and my family. His install team is also incredible. I worked with Ryan who walked me through everything in detail, was incredibly professional, polite and knowledgeable and efficient but without making me feel rushed. The system works exactly as they said it would, am able to manage through multiple devices and is quite user friendly. Thank you Aaron, Ryan and team for such a great job!! read more

My wife and I bought a new home last summer that did not have an alarm installed. We shopped around and after talking to a few company's decided to go with APS. When Aaron came out to the house he didn't try to sell us more than we needed. He was honest with his recommendations and we have been completely satisfied with the service. Since installation, I have called them a couple of times and they always answer the phone and they never hesitate to make sure that I am happy with the system. I highly recommend APS Security Systems. A+ read more

The guys who came to install my new system were right on time which is a rarity it seems these days with vendors. Only got better from there. They were efficient and very instructive with teaching me how to work the system. Highly recommend this company! read more

I meant to leave a review two months ago when we switched over to APS after 25 years of Edison/ADT. Aaron and his team were smart, informative, and made a competitive no-pressure bid. We had met and spoken with other companies, but as soon as we met Aaron we knew our search was over. It's a clean looking, easy to use system. Yesterday a motion detector went off by mistake, we called Aaron, and we have already had a technician come and move the detector to a more strategic spot this morning (Jerry, who knows his stuff!) If you're reading this, you must be shopping around - make the move and call APS. read more

I had my alarm installed with APS this week. Prices is very affordable and they did an excellent job. I highly recommend their service!!

I contacted APS after reading the stellar reviews - needless to say they are entirely accurate. Aaron took my phone call and it was immediately obvious that he knows his stuff. We scheduled a walk around of my home a few days after and together we decided the best solution for my home. Installation was then scheduled for the next week which went through flawlessly. The quoted price during the inspection was exactly what I receieved on my final bill. I could not be happier with the service or my security system. Highly recommend Ryan for his detailed work installing the alarm system in my newly purchased home. Aaron and Ryan from APS Security Systems are great. Very professional and knowedgeable. Cost is comparable to ADP without being locked into a 2 year contract. The Honeywell system is user friendly and Ryan was very patient explaining everything. They will quote and install what you need. They didn't try to up-sell with more than needed to get the job done. Thanks! read more

We looked at a few different companies, but found that customer service or lack of it was a big issue. We decided to go with APS Security Systems because of their excellent customer service ranking. I moved into my new home in August and after dealing with a million other issues realized -- right before an out of town trip -- I had not set up any home security, despite having a built-in brand-new system that was not activated or hooked up to monitoring. I had lived for almost 20 years in an older home with a legacy ADT system, and had no idea how the new technology worked. I saw APS' reviews on Yelp and called the company; Aaron told me they had a 2 week back log, but when I said I needed help before I headed out of town, he kept in touch by email and was able to schedule Ryan to come for the following week. Ryan set-up and trouble-shot my system, figured out some kinks unique to the way it had been installed, patiently helped me through the app set-up and showed me how all the basics worked; Aaron then promptly followed up with a call to make sure all was good. Great, attentive and kind customer service, diligent efforts to help me out despite their busy schedule. If you need help with home security, this is a no-brainer -- unfortunately rare these days to deal with people who are professional, prompt, friendly and ultra-competent. read more

This is my first ever Yelp review and I was inspired to write it because Aaron and APS Security deserve every letter.... My wife Rachel and I had an incredibly smooth and positive experience with APS. After reading such positive reviews here, I contacted Aaron and within hours, he called me back to set up a walk through at our home. Aaron was on time to the initial appointment and quickly/efficiently analyzed our home and made suggestions for a system that would best suit our needs. Aaron is a true professional and carries a serious, yet laid back demeanor that immediately inspired confidence in him and his company. On installation day, Ben, one of APS in-house technicians installed our system with ease and educated me on how to use everything. We chose a cellular based Honeywell system that includes access/controls via iPhone apps. We love our system and feel very safe both inside and outside of the house. If you're looking for great service and top notch professionalism in a security company, look no further than APS. read more

After trying a couple of other companies who were very disappointing, we found APS. I am an electrical engineer and have put alarm systems in a number of houses over the years. We got a new rental property, and I didn't have the time or inclination to do the work myself. Called Aaron at APS, and I could tell right away he was a knowledgeable professional. We discussed some options over the phone, and within three days there was a state-of-the art working system in the house. He will definitely be doing our home soon. read more

I rarely write reviews other than my experiences in a restaurant but the service and product APS provided absolutely deserves a shout out. I'm a business owner and was constantly concerned about it when I was not on site. I met Aaron and he explained to me what he could do to give me peace of mind when not at my business. He and one of his associates showed up to scout the location and give me an estimate. The pricing very reasonable. After agreeing on a video monitoring system, they made it happen fast. I'm not a tech savvy person, but that was no problem. Aaron walked me through everything and made it user friendly. I can now monitor my business from my smart phone no matter where I am to check in and make sure everything is running smoothly. Anytime I have a question, APS is very reachable and quick in corresponding. Very happy I found them and highly recommend them for any type security needs. Thanks APS! read more
