Al and his team have been great. We were taking over an antiquated system and (of course) didn't want to build a new one from scratch when there were many elements of the old one that still worked. So, from the start, I knew that there would be problems from me trying to save money... and there were. And it took a few visits to iron things out. After 30 years, we determined that it was time to update our existing alarm system. Several of the contacts had worn off, and I was also very disappointed with the monitoring service. I found CSI Security here on Yelp. When I called them I was very pleasantly surprised. Al was patient, responsive, knowledgeable, and very reasonably priced. Within 48 hours of my initial call Al sent two technicians to my home who changed out my panel and both keypads. They also painstakingly went through the doors and windows where the original contacts had been installed and refreshed or repaired them. In addition to working on the software/hardware for the system I also transferred the monitoring to CSI. There are several advantages that I've noticed almost immediately, most notably that the system can be armed through my phone and sends me alerts in real time. Experience was not that great. The sales 'team' came out and tried to sell me stuff I really didn't need. I was told that the management came from ACS security. I found out later they went bankrupt to avoid debt collectors. A dear friend referred us to CSI security and we met with Michael, whom been with CSI for a long time. He walked-through our house and designed a system around our family and activity. He never tried to sell us anything just asked questions in order to come up with the right system for us. We had a different alarm company before and they were terrible at resolving problems and doing so in a timely manner. We switched over to CSI and it was the best thing we did. Amin came same day and resolved a problem the other company was taking 2 weeks to resolve and had the wrong assessment on what the problem was.
