Even though I am a quite a bit further out from Woodbridge now, with several closer appliance stores, I will always shop here. The service and knowledge that is provided to us is second to none. Matt, our salesman, was so patient and really helped us figure out what we needed. It can be very overwhelming purchasing all our appliances again after a house fire but he was such a huge help. He didn't push us towards the higher end items, but he did tell us the +/- of each piece. If a lower priced one sounded like it was more in our needs, he told us that, and vice versa. The details in his knowledge he provided were priceless. He double checked to provide us with any manufacturer or distributor rebates and provided all the necessary information for such. This was an additional $600 we weren't expecting! One major thing I noticed was that not one employee was standing around on their phone! That is rare now a days. Everyone was very engaged in their tasks and in the customers. They really give you the attention you deserve. I can also comment on the service provided when something does go wrong. First, the delivery/install process and pricing was very easy. The installers showed up on time, great communication, were courteous, and cleaned up everything. Prior to the fire we had to replace our washer/dryer. When the install was happening, the installer told me that the dryer didn't sound right. It was working, but in his opinion, something wasn't right. We decided to have him take it back. Install guys don't always tell you if something doesn't sound right. This one did, and we were very grateful to not have to deal with it in 6 months, but we could deal with it now. I found myself here after a genius idea that I wanted to research the options and likelihood of replace the countertop grill that I currently have. I walked in and was greeted by Elijah. I brought him up to speed on my genius idea and he broke the bad news to me that the model have now has been discontinued. Most of the time we come to Yelp to share our great--and not so great--experiences with businesses. But this time I need to tattle on myself as a not-so-stellar customer to show how fantastic Appliance Connection really is. Our realtor strongly recommended Appliance Connection when we needed to buy a new washer and dryer. (Several of our friends in the area also echoed their great experiences.) I took some measurements for the laundry room, as I was concerned about how small it was, and I headed to the store to see what my options would be. They showed me a few of the smaller and stacking washers and dryers that they said would fit the existing space and printed out some quotes that I could show to my husband. However, my husband "re-measured" the room and told me my measurements were off. He insisted that we would be able to fit a full-sized washer and dryer side by side in the room. So off we went back to Appliance Connection to meet with Chris and pick out a washer and dryer set. Chris was really fantastic and super informative about our options. He helped us pick out a really nice front-loader set and we were very happy with the sales experience there. This is the point, dear readers, where I'm sure we became a thorn in Appliance Connection's side. Since neither my husband nor I would be home for the installation, my mother-in-law was there for what should have been a simple delivery. But--as I'm sure you've already guessed--the washer and dryer didn't fit based on the "new" measurements. Appliance Connection was still amazing. They took back that washer and dryer. They offered to set up an appointment to have the room measured for us, but my husband said he could do it and measured the room again. He returned to the store with the updated measurements to see what else he could find to fit the space. He worked with them to find a really nice top-loader set that wasn't as deep as the front-loaders. Appliance Connection refunded the difference between the sets, since the new one was less expensive, and set up a delivery date. But our comedy of errors was not over. I couldn't be there for the second delivery, but again, there wasn't enough depth in the room for the needed dryer hookup space. They brought the washer and dryer back to the facility until we could figure out what we wanted to do. Not about to try to order a third set, I called a contractor friend to come look at the room and I showed him the dimensions for the washer and dryer. He said we could take out part of the wall and molding to have enough space. He connected us with one of his friends who spent 14 hours reconstructing the room to be an exact fit for the washer and dryer. We settled on another appointment with Appliance Connection. I'm sure they were way beyond over us at this point, but they were always so friendly, helpful, and professional with every call. I was terrified that something would go wrong with the final delivery, but David did a great job getting everything installed with his coworker. They ran both of them through a cycle to be sure everything worked properly and made sure we had all the paperwork. If I ever need any appliances again, I will 100% go back to Appliance Connection. They went above and beyond every step of the way to make sure we could get our washer and dryer. (However, next time we need an appliance, I know not to trust ourselves to do the measurements!) read more

I don't want to post a negative review on social media but rather try to help everyone that is dealing with the delays and malfunction products right now. My finance and I ordered a dishwasher this first week of June for our new home and the dishwater did not arrive until the last week in July. We tried to be patient with this process due to the COVID crisis but when the dishwasher arrived it already had visible damage on the door. So not only had we been without a dishwasher for many weeks it arrived damaged and when we tried to contact support it took days to connect and order a replacement door which we still have not received confirmation of when this door will arrive. We used the dishwasher for a week and half and then it broke. Everyday since we have been calling customer service and waiting hours on hold, they connect us to a different third party company for repairs each time. These companies all have numbers that are not and service or disconnected. They scheduled a repair person that never showed and when we tried calling that number it is not in service. We have called around town to pay our own repair person but no one will work on the dishwasher because it is under warranty. As a customer we feel completely frustrated and not sure what else to do because we can't get anyone to come fix the dishwasher and we can't get through to GE. Please pass this on to the Leadership team to help them see how they might be able to improve this process for their customers. I came to Appliance Connection from the recommendation of numerous neighbors. I first needed a washer dryer combo unit. I replaced my old washer dryer combo unit, and had issues (on my end, not anything with Appliance Connection) because of my pipes being clogged. Rob, with AC, was super patient and even held my old unit in the warehouse. Once the pipe issue was resolved on my end, the washer dryer combo (LG unit) had an issue. I worked with Rob to resolve the issue - and AC was my advocate with LG. I purchased a second appliance (dishwasher) while all of that was going on. The install teams (two separate teams) were super nice people, efficient, and knew what they were doing. My experience with Appliance Connection April/May 2022. Order# 198809 We ordered an electric Frigidaire Range, a Frigidaire Microwave, and a Whirlpool French Door Refrigerator. Paid to have them delivered and installed. Even pre-ordered a new outlet for the Microwave. Range was delivered and installed. Microwave was installed, but outlet was not installed as delivery people were not informed. Refrigerator has major damage on the rear, including a severed water line. I reject it. I call (no anger) the store to notify them so another Refrigerator can be ordered. Salesperson quickly transfers us; We then get transferred about 3 more times. (it's very apparent they like selling, after sale support is painful for them). 2nd Refrigerator arrives 9 days later, and has damage on the front. I reject it. They install an outlet for our microwave. I call (no anger) to notify them that I rejected the refrigerator, and that another needs to be ordered. They tell me that Whirlpool tends to have more damaged units. I change my order to Maytag of similar quality/price. 9 Days later 3rd Refrigerator arrives - again with minor damage on the side. I accept it with minor aggravation that this has happened 3 times. The delivery person informs me that he can't hook up the water/ice line as mine is Pex/Plastic ad not braided steel. Another issue that Sales never mentioned. At this point I fully admit I blew my stack - at the poor Delivery/Install guys. After a lot of angry yelling they agree to install a braided steel line for me. They never asked for money although I assume they would never do it normally without charging $150 or more (just a guess). Before they agree to install the line, I call the store (this time very angry). The person I talked to claimed to be Sales Mgr. Listened to me explain the problem, puts me on hold. After 10 minutes on hold, I get hung up on. Do they call me right back? No. Do they call me back 30 minutes later? No At the end of 3 delivery attempts we finally have all 3 appliances, and they all work. I understand the damages are seemingly commonplace, which is pretty sad. Appliance Connection certainly showed themselves to be middlemen who only care about sales, and don't give a hoot about ensuring things go smoothly. I was more than patient with them and only lost my cool after 3 delivery attempts that were riddled with problems. Buyer Beware. I doubt they will ever do a follow-up call to see how things went. BUYER BEWARE!! I'm not sure where to start with this review but let me break it down via pros and cons. If I could give this negative stars, I would! I'm only writing this review on here as their website conveniently doesn't have a reviews section. Pros: the furniture is super stylish and adds a cool pop of color to any room. The price was absolutely great! Around $700 for a couch & chaise lounge. Cons: we ordered this furniture off this 3rd party site to get a deal which means we had to deal with them not the actual manufacture which was Ashley's Furniture. We order this furniture on September 28th and we just received it on Dec 5th. Not to mention, we paid $70 for Express Shipping services. We went back and forth with both this company and the shipping company and got the run around every time with no clear answer. No communication was given to us when it was apparent our furniture was going to be delayed. It was 2 months late!! The tracking was never up to date from the shipping company and we even got the response "it should ship in 2-3 days" when we ended up having a month still to go! Fast forward, we received the furniture and it happened to not fit into the elevator in our apartment building, and me and my partner ended up having to carry our furniture ourselves up 4 flights of stairs or be charged over $200 for the actual delivery company to do it! You would have thought with what we went through on the delay and the extremely poor customer service, we would have been waived that fee, but nope! Fortunately for us, we are physically fit people. We unwrapped the furniture and low and behold it's damaged! The wood in the couch was actually broken and there was multiple fabric tears. That was the icing on the cake! I was overlooking the delay but this furniture showing up damaged was beyond excusable!! I will never order from this 3rd party site or Ashley's if they are allowing these sites to operate in this manner! I was told I would get a refund for the expedited shipping but nothing yet ‍ Either way, I guess it's my bad for trying to buy a "cheaper" option. You get what you pay for! Horrible service. Ordered new dishwasher, arrived timely, but installers did a sloppy job and the clips holding in place fell off in 3 weeks. I called the company and was first told it was not to be corrected because it was over 30 days since installation. Informed them it was NOT over 30 days and had to send them corroborating proof. Was then told that my cabinet opening was too high - cabinet was closed in immediately after installation - plus mounting clips are on the side! After multiple calls & emails I finally got on YouTube and fixed myself. I'm elderly and a recent widow, one of the worst parts was that I had tipped the installers because my late husband always tipped service people. 99% OF THESE REVIEWS ARE FOR A DIFFERENT STORE. Appliance Connection in Woodbridge is NOT the same as applianceconnection.com, the online seller who popped up with the same name fairly recently. The actual brick and mortar store is at applianceconnection.net. We got a fridge and dishwasher, and the delivery was on-time, with a very professional crew who all spoke English and were friendly and helpful, and the appliances are in perfect condition. We might need to return one because it doesn't fit, through a mistake we made, so I am glad we went to a local brick and mortar because I'm pretty sure they will work with us to get us something else. Update and change from 5 starts to 3: I'm updating my review because I was wrong, and the store was not willing to work with us on exchanging our dishwasher for one that fits better. We are now stuck with an integrated dishwasher that is too deep for standard counter depth, and has a big black hose sticking out of the bottom which prevents us from putting in a toekick that matches our cabinets without having it cut so that there is a big visible hole in the toekick. This is a pricey Kitchenaid - the most expensive model of panel-ready - and although we should have known that we needed to check the depth, we incorrectly assumed that all integrated dishwashers would be designed to fit within a standard counter depth. But this one doesn't. And although it is a known problem with the dishwasher, the salesman recommended it without mentioning this and they claim they didn't know (but shouldn't they, though?). It actually sticks out over 26 inches deep. We had to remove the insulation in order to reduce the size, and it is still too deep. So it looks like a dishwasher with a panel stuck on it instead of part of the cabinetry, and the black hose that sticks out the front is very noticeable (and it wasn't shown in the picture they showed us of the washer before we bought it). So I guess it's our fault for not knowing what we didn't know, but that's why we decided to buy from a local brick and mortar in the first place. But we got bad advice. So beware - it might be local, but you can't bring stuff back or exchange it and you can't really trust their knowledge of the products they sell. read more

Price was right. Significantly cheaper than Lowes/HomeDepot/BestBuy. Everything else was HORRIBLE. Said item was available to be delivered within 2 days. It took 35 days. Sent tens of emails and help tickets. Got responses on maybe 15% of them. This company literally takes your order, swipes your card, and then outsources everything else. The delivery folks (separate company) are in NJ so it's a nightmare dealing with them when they don't have voicemail but they call you at 4:45PM and then close at 5PM. And don't work on weekends. And like I said, don't accept voicemails or have email addresses. But they are who will be delivering (after first no-call-no-showing you on the first "install date") and eventually installing your item. Then when said item doesn't work, they have you call Apps Conn who has you call someone OTHER company to come out and troubleshoot. All around nightmare. The men who delivered my refrigerator were excellent in their work ethic and manners. They went the extra mile to ensure that everything worked. They demonstrated the product for my education and policed up the cardboard and foam waste. Note, I had a tight hallway, but they contacted their other delivery personnel who had more experience and were close by servicing another customer.
