TEERIBLE SERVICE! I will never go to this specific Applebee's ever again. The waitress who I believe said her mame was Mariela was rude, and did not have the customers best interest in mind. She took really long in coming to ask us how our food was or if we needed anything else which we did. She didn't write our order down to begin with, which is probably why she forgot half of my order and also got it wrong, then argued with me when I told her I had the wrong plate. So rude, never coming back. My husband who is very easy going was even surprised at how terrible the service was because we have gone to several other Applebee's restaurants and have had far better experiences. My best friend and I ordered an appetizer of ribs and sweet potato fries. While the food was delicious the portions were insanely small. We paid an outrageous amount for about twenty fries and three small small ribs that were mostly bone. We also did not receive the best service. I would not recommend this as a top choice-- maybe a last resort. read more

"It's Applebee's, so what did you really expect from a corporate owned establishment that's whole focus is all about maximizing shareholder profits" (just look at the stupid computers tablets on every table to eliminate wait staff jobs in "Your Neiborhood") It's been a while and the kids loved this place, so we went. Big Mistake! The good: 1. Waitress was friendly and attentive. 2. Top shelf margarita was delicious. The BAD: 1. A 15 minute wait for a half full restaurant...? 2. You'll get better microwaved mozzarella sticks in the frozen section at Safeway. 3. Now you only get two pretzel sticks instead of four and one dipping sauce in that appetizer. 4. The boneless chicken wings are just double battered chicken McNuggets slathered in sauce. 5. The half cremated chicken tenders are little chunks of anything but tender. 6. One of the smallest hamburger patties (quesadilla burger) I've ever seen. Looks NOTHING like the picture and tastes like NOTHING, because it's all lettuce. (Of course the lettuce is cheaper than the beef you ordered keeping the shareholders happy at your expense $$$) 7. Messed up my daughters order. 8. Brought somebody else's food to our table. Went to this location once. Horrible service! Myself and two others waited and waited to have our order taken. We even pressed the service button that is suppose to alert your waiter. Our waitress just kept walking by & started chatting with her coworkers , she saw us repeatedly and did nothing. I've come here before and I'm aware it is often a decent and inexpensive night out. I would like to add that going at 9:30 pm, it's terrible unless you plan on drinking at the bar. It took more then twenty minutes before deciding to walk out, let alone being the only small group of three there. Everyone else being served was at the bar. I've seen about three different girls to look over only to ignore us and play a game of 'not-it' to serve us like we should be. Pretty terrible and needs more people during the night. read more

Burned food! Horrible service! 1 star is generous. I wanted something quick and easy because I stayed in the hotel in the same parking lot. I ordered chicken strips and fries to go. The chicken strips looked like they had been sitting under a warmer for hours. There were burned spots, and they were dry. The fries were too salty. I called to tell them my chicken was burned They asked me if I wanted another order (hello!). When I came back there was no staff in sight for several minutes. Friendly staff, great bar selection, noisy, sports bar atmosphere so don't try to have an intimate meal with someone. I had the Bruschetta salad and while it was good it was not impressive. I had to order extra dressing because it was not dressed enough. Freshness was not there and there was 2 hard chunks of lettuce stalk in it. I actually like Applebee's in Windsor. Love those crispy wontons! For the most part the food is good and the staff very friendly and helpful! They definitely have a way to go on their outside delivery as the app really works. I had to go into the place, ordered The food, ran a quick errand and the food was brought to my car by a very nice staff person. However, when I got home the portion size of something I ordinarily order was half the size of a plate that I would've received if I heading inside. The small to go Caesar salad was huge! I usually pre-order and use the car side service, which works out great for me. Food is always ready on time and hot. Employees are cheery. I have dined in the restaurant a couple times. Each time, the service was good and food tastey. I always order the Weight Watchers meals and each is delicious. read more

I try and take the kids here regularly. My son loves the BBQ wings, and my daughter loves the fries. We always have very friendly and tolerant of children wait staff. Sometimes getting the wait staff to notice you after you've ordered can be difficult. They seem more concerned with other members of the staff, than with our table. read more

Thank Godness they brought their riblets back. The all you can eat riblets are even better. Only complaints are Applebee's should start provide a basket sized portion to start with instead of just a few and have a pot of ribs in the kitchen to replenish instantly instead of waiting 10 minutes. . Awful food. I ordered what I thought would be a delicious burger and fries and what I got was overdone oil soaked fries and a tasteless burger. Burger king burgs taste better. I wanted the "choose two" lunch but since I was ordering it "to go" they said I couldn't have it, hence the burger choice. No explanation as to why a to go order could not be lunch special. When I got there, parked in designated area, girl asked me if I wanted to place an order, when I had already given car make and model and time which I would arrive. I am a big fan out Applebee's I love the decor of the restaurants, and the family friendly atmosphere. The staff is typically upbeat and on top of things. I like the variety on the menu and the price ranges as well. the drinks are great too, and the parking is very convenient as is the location, right off the 101. If you like Applebees, then you should try this location. The food is equal or better than other Applebees locations. Our group had the steak, loaded mashed potatoes, fish, and dessert shots. The food was great. The curbside service was convenient, especially since it was raining heavily outside. Remember to ask about the dinner specials. The food that comes out now looks like something was just defrosted and thrown on a plate. My french onion soup bowl was only half full, no bread in it, just the merest hint of cheese and it was room temperature. We ordered fried green Beans and Ranch as appetizer, there were about 7 pieces of bean, not even full pieces, and they were cold. When we asked to speak to a manager, a lead server came out and actually argued with us about the food! I don't know how they stay in business. I'll never eat at this one again! Wish I could give them negative stars. By far the WORST service ever. It took 15 minutes after being seated for a server to show up. Took another 20-25 minutes after ordering to get drinks. 45 minutes after ordering we were informed they didn't have the 8 oz steak one of us ordered. An hour later, food had not arrived and the two small children in our group were crying because they were hungry. We asked for the manager 3 times, he never came to see us. I doubt there was even a manager onsite. We paid for our drinks and left. Found out on our way out the door, we were the 2nd group to walk out. I was visiting my cousin who lives in the nearby neighborhood and we decided to try out the happy hour menu. Since it was very close and we were going to be drinking we decided to walk to the restaurant. The staff was very nice, with our server Emily being great. However the manager decided to cut off our drinks after our 2nd round due to him not wanting us to drive home. We explained to the manager that we walked here and that we were ubering back home yet to no avail, he did not let us continue ordering drinks. We explained to the server that we walked here and were ubering back yet the manager still did not let us continue to order drinks. We were not belligerent or disturbing any other guests as we had only had two drinks so I can not see why the manager would care to stop us. This is my first experience at a restaurant where the manager has stopped a table from ordering drinks even though we explained none of us were driving. Over priced!! Ordered a ten dollar salad with shrimp and my friend ordered halibut fish and chips. The halibut was nice but small portions (three little nuggets) for thirteen dollars. Also The salad was the size of a McDonalds side salad and the shrimp was thrown on there with no seasoning... at least it wasn't still frozen. Then the food came out my mashed potatoes were so bland and cold tasted disgusting my steak was so burnt and small, I couldn't believe that they thought it was ok to serve, My boyfriend got the oriental chicken salad and they couldn't even do that right !! Barley any salad, chicken, or dressing.. I want to say that in all of these other reviews they are expecting so much more, it's Applebee's everyone! It's a nice little family restaraunt with a sports bar, so if you're expecting a fancy meal then you might want to head down to Healdsburg instead. Then again, if you're walking in expecting an Applebee's, it's one of the best I have been to. Genuine nice staff, always happy always smiling, very clean facility, food came out very quickly, amazing desserts, what more do you need? The service we received was HORRIBLE!!! At first everything seemed to be going good, our waitress took our drink orders.. didn't have some of the ingredients for some of the drinks that the kids ordered, but we took it in stride & rolled with it. After bringing our drinks, which took a little longer than usual, we ordered our meals... and waited & waited & waited. When our food started coming out we were just excited to eat, but we didn't have any utensils or napkins, so we flagged our waitress down & I asked for them... she brought me utensils & 1 napkin, even though there were 6 of us. We just grabbed beverage napkins from the bar, instead of waiting another 10 minutes for napkins. She never came back to ask us if we needed anything else, how our food was... nothing! All the while it was social hour with our waitress & another waitress & waiter near the booth we were sitting in, they were talking, laughing and having a good ole time all the while we needed more water to wash our dinner down. A couple hours after arriving, we did have to wave down our waitress again, so that we could pay. If you are looking for any type of service, don't go here, unless you want to do it yourself!!! We typically go to this restaurant once a month or so as a family outing. Applebee's is typical restaurant fare that is decent for a family get-together. The last two visits have been so bad that we won't go back to this location until we know they've shaped up. The service and food used to be good. The portions are smaller and prices larger, but the service these last two times was horrible. In September, the waitress was barely there and did not know what my parents' Golden Apple card was (a senior discount). She said thank you as if my mom was handing her a gift and then didn't apply the discount or return the card! When we inquired about it, she said, "Oh!" and reached into ANOTHER CUSTOMER'S CHECK wallet and took my mom's card out to return it! This time was worse. Our waiter didn't approach our table for quite a while and one of our party joked with him about it. He apologized and said he had been running all over the place.which we thought odd because we were the only customers in his section. It took too long to receive our drinks and one drink had lemon instead of a lime wedge in it. Not a big deal. The appetizers were on time. Then we waited and waited and waited for our food. When our server walked by our table to take care of new customers behind us, he made no eye contact at all. I observed him actually walking around the long way to avoid walking by our table, serving new customers their food while we still waited. Finally it arrived, and when one of our party complained we were met with a bland apology and excuse that everything had to be timed to come out at once. The two hot dishes were cold. I didn't want to have mine remade because I didn't want to wait even longer or risk having it messed with in the kitchen so I choked it down cold because I was hungry. A man came by with the rest of our food and commented that he had overheard our complaints but I'm not sure why he said that because he didn't apologize or do anything about it at all. He was dressed as management. There appears to have been a change in ownership or management. Wait staff are not trained and have no customer service skills at all. Customer satisfaction is what will keep a restaurant open, and this location just lost six plus whoever reads the recent reviews. read more
