There's been plenty of times i've had encounters with Amanda and with Mario specifically and They are plain rude. If you do NOT want to experience bad service do not come here. I went in just my husband and I per usual and they were yelling at man getting all up in his face and cussing at him in front of CUSTOMERS! to say the least! This is absolutely out of line! Absolutely the worst experience. We both ordered tthe all you can eat plate. Choice of rib keys, shrimp or boneless wings. They slow rolled us. When you pull up the person that has placed you on hold is outside serving curve side customers. When you walk in the location the phone is sitting on the table off the hook and two employees including a manger is standing there texting and having a conversation. Ordered food online through Applebee's website for delivery and was shorted on a big part of my over $100 order and neither door dash or Applebee's would bring me the food that was missing. I was told by Applebee's to contact door dash myself cus they wouldn't do it and I didn't even have a way to contact them. Once the driver got here they let me know that they weren't going back to get it and when I contacted Applebees about it I was told that I would get a credit back to my card for the missing items but so far nothing! This is by far the worst place or even Applebees ever, Applebees was my favorite since years and now it's falling out for me especially at the Turlock location definitely not how it should be anymore. Customer service is by far the worst here. I was told I would get charge for the sauce that comes with the wontons when I received it, the sauce wasn't even near half way full mind you it was even in those small black containers then I got told I won't end up being charged for it. Arrived as they were opening. 11:00AM We were first seated in a booth that had broken down seating. Absolutely no padding. We asked to be moved and were told many of the seats cushions were broken down. However the server did find us a booth that was better. Yesterday I had the pleasure of dining at Applebee's our server was Tara. I've worked in the restaurant industry for 3 years now and she by far is one of the best servers I've ever had. She's very friendly and accommodating. She was constantly checking on us making sure we had everything we need and was even the person who answered the phone when I called ahead earlier in the day. Ordered curbside here for the first time this year, and very satisfied with my he whole experience. Everything to the app and the pick up process was very easy and seamless. Ordered for whole family and easy to pick and choose what toppings or no toppings you want on each order. I drove up and called the restaurant and didn't have too. The lady immediately brought out my food. Pretty cool. Food was brought home, and was fresh and delicious. No issues. no wrong order, nothing. Everyone was satisfied. Will come here again soon. I've been to my fair share of Applebee's in my day, but I have to say that my meal at this particular one was almost inedible. I think a large part of the reason for my tasteless rubbery meal was striving to order something healthy on the menu. I scanned the menu hard trying to find a dish without dairy and too much meat. I opted for the Teriyaki Shrimp Pasta. Big mistake. The noodles were overcooked and cold. Most of them stuck together. The vegetables lacked taste and while the shrimp were tasty enough - I still had trouble digesting them. Tiny little pink things - hidden amongst the bleh of the rest of the dish. Pretty disappointed with our experience last night. We waited about 45 minutes to be seated because apparently our name got crossed off the list. When we finally seated I ordered a margarita with extra salt on the rim. When I got my glass there was salt on maybe a 1/4 of the rim. I asked our server if he could get more salt on it, he brought it back with salt all over the actual glass, not just the rim. Even our food wasn't the best. I had a big lettuce butt in my salad. I've dined here several times, and the food always seems a little lacking to me. Don't get me wrong the food is not horrible, it's just ok. Which is a shame because the service is usually pretty good, they have a full bar, and the place has a laid back comfortable feel. During my most recent visit here, I had the ribs, they were a little on the dry side and not as tender as I like. (My experience has been similar with thier steaks and burgers) Unless I'm only coming here for a couple of drinks and an appetizer, this place is on the list of restaurants I'll only go to if someone I'm dining with really wants to eat here. This Applebee's has all the same fair as the rest, no surprise. It is clean and the food is Ok. The reason for the three stars is it seems when I have been to other locations the same dishes are often better and the wait times to receive your food is much shorter. I myself work at two restaurants as a server and I know very well what good customer service is. I would even be happy with a 'decent' service but wow! To start this off, we were never greeted properly. Never heard a 'hello' from the waitress, all she said was "I'll be with you guys in just a second" while literally just walking by, meaning we barely heard her. Yes, she was busy. But all her tables had gotten their food so I couldn't understand what the chaos was all about. Second of all, two of our drinks were wrong, one of them being mine. I specifically asked for a mango margarita but was brought a lime margarita. Not to mention, the host (Ronnie, super friendly and great service) was the one who brought our drinks and the bartender (McKenzie) brought my drink which I said was the wrong one and she started giving me all these excuses, insisting that it was actually "mango" flavored. I went ahead and said it was lime and all I got as a response was an eye roll and she simply walked away. Long story short, I spoke with the manager and he said he'd have a talk with her, not sure if that even happened. Also, usually as a manager, if one of your tables has that much trouble because of your employees, you'd think to maybe comp an item, offer a desert, or try to at least make it up to them, but we also did not receive that courtesy. read more

We arrived early on a Saturday about 4:30 pm and plenty of tables available. Not very busy but the service was very slow. Our waitress was very nice but honestly very forgetful and slow. GABE was the ultimate bartender on Friday night. The bar was packed and everyone was so well taken care of. He took time to even have quick chats with all the customers that were seated beyond what they wanted to drink or order.
