We've been customers at Juras on and off over the last 19 years. Unfortunately somewhere along the way the food took a drastic dive and is officially disgusting! The pizza used to be really good but tonight, hear me when I tell you, "DO NOT ATTEMPT IT!" Worst pizza I've ever had! The crust looked and tasted like it was frozen then left out to thaw on the counter. The edges of the dough were dried out or had freezer burn and should not been used. It was under cooked, paper thin crust that would shatter like stale crackers, hardly any sauce, cheese was damn near non existent and the meats where not cooked enough to even look as if they'd been in an oven. Really bad after taste as well! I'm so disappointed and will never return. Way over priced for a shitty pizza! Shame on the cook for thinking this was acceptable to serve. Shame on this place! Food is always good, the reason for the poor review is because we were there watching game 4 of the NBA finals. With 30 seconds left in the game the staff decided to shut off all the T.V.s in the dining area. We had just spent roughly $200 there with the party of 11 that attended. I could not believe it. Been coming here for years. What keeps me coming back is the wings. Not the fancy flavors, but the buffalo style hot is where it's at. The pizza is great too. It has the old school pizza parlor taste. Having the linguica on the all meat makes a nice smoky taste. read more

We had just cleaned out the garage and made a dump run and we were hungry. I was taking everyone to the Vietnamese fusion place in this plaza when we pulled in the driveway and my sister exclaimed "oh! Pizza" so in we went. We ordered the large veggie and the large chicken pizza for 4 of us. They came out in about 20 minutes and were pretty perfect pizzas. Even my non pizza loving wife had 4 slices. The staff was friendly without being intrusive and we really enjoyed the entire visit. This is definitely now at the top of our list when we want pizza in Turlock. read more

Staff was helpful and cordial, the cashier was very helpful navigating through their menu and explaining the current deals. We order a large pizza, 6 wings, fries and two drinks. Food was ok, not great, not bad just tolerable. The wings were a little on the dry side, fries were ok. The Pizza...well it was more like unseasoned bland crackers with toppings. We came here last night for my step sons 21st birthday to grab pizza and wings and a few beers . The wings well they are still delicious crispy and yummy!! Fries were good to. Now we got our usual pizza that has linguicia on it and half pepperoni on the other side ,this IS NOT WHAT IT USUALLY TASTE LIKE SO BLAN and the sauce was horrible. So so disappointing . My family and I stumbled upon Jura's Pizza Parlor after working at the Central Valley Brewfest this afternoon. It was the first thing that popped up when searching for pizza since it is close to the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds. When you arrive, you don't know what to expect as the windows are tinted. You get there and it seems like a chill place with many TV's, a full bar, and plenty of tables. It was packed which seemed like a great sign. The menu was simple and offered the staple items when you're looking to grub on a Saturday night. Then came the food - a large pizza, wings, and fries which rang out to be around $30.00. Now mind you, there was a discount on the pizza which was nice (Fri/Sat 1/2 off deal) but when it arrived, I will say we were greatly disappointed. The crust was dry and it felt as if you were eating crackers. Each bite left you with chips of hard dough on your plate. It wasn't the most flavorful and deceived us with the amount of toppings that were given. The fries were kind of hard and the wings barely had any sauce on them. We assumed that since it was busy they rushed our food but after looking at previous Yelp reviews, it seems to be a regular issue. This was called Jura's Pizza Parlor, not Chuckie Cheese, right? If you are a new customer and never been here before this place is not for you! Understand this is not a restaurant with a hostess this is a sports bar. So when you walk in you will see employees talking to each other and not acknowledging any customer who walks in. With no direction on how to order and get food as a sports bar should be the bar tender should see a customer and ask a server to attend them which will not happen in this establishment. I went to the bar side and waited for 15 min and no service. Bar tender is to busy talking and laughing with the regulars. Don't waste your time! read more

I went here in 2015 and it is different now, but it is much worse. The pizza crust was so dry and cracker-like that it would just fall off the bottom. It was incredibly dry. The cashier Kristen wasn't a pleasant person either. She didn't greet us at the register, just stared at us to let us know she was ready. No smiles, just extremely unhappy and not welcoming. The worst part of it all is her hair was down, extremely long, and she was constantly walking back and fourth into the kitchen. Major cleanliness concern there. Everyone working in the food industry should have their hair tied back! However, the owner was quite nice. He came out to help a lady's battery when her car died. read more

Visited this place on a Saturday night around 7pm. Upon entering a woman was screaming at the top of her lungs over her order. Ok, I'll ignore it because I'm starving. I order the 16 piece wings with fries and ask for 3 flavors ( I think they only have 3 maybe 4 flavors) and was told I can order two separate 8 piece meals and get 2 flavors each. I asked if I could order a larger size and get 3 flavors and this time I was told "No, the computer only has two flavor choices." Seriously? Ok. No problem, I order the 16 piece and sit down. Had I not been so hungry I would have left as the floors were filthy and so was practically everything else. Ok, maybe they were super busy today. I understand doing good business and getting a big rush of customers. I received my super soggy fries and what could only be described this time as freezer burnt frozen fried wings covered in sauce. The hot was not even close to hot and the amount of fat on the wings was just gross. So....not a fan and will not be returning. I hear people love this place for the wings not the pizza. My parents have been coming here since they were in college and I've been coming here since I was a kid. This place is a staple of the town. It's not your regular pizza parlor- it's a pizza you've never had before. With a cracker like crust and cheese that pulls away like an oddly satisfying video. And if you're there you have to get a side of fries and wings. It's a great place to take your soccer team after a game, sit and watch some football, or meet some friends at the bar. Diet soda to drink with a help-yourself fountain drink machine, inside, that had Diet Pepsi instead of Diet Coke; no hard feelings and I love Coke. They do serve beer here for any partakers. The food was served fresh and with enough time to enjoy the appetizers of the crispiest seasoned french fries and hot wings before the pizza was served. I could have made a meal on the crispy french fries alone; serving size was for more than the two of us. The pizza crust was so fresh, soft in some areas crispy in others and you could taste the yeast in it. Tastes like homemade to me. The cheese and pepperoni were plentiful; it was a really amazing pizza. Condiments! They served the meal with ketchup, hot wing sauce, a bottle of ranch dressing, parmesan cheese, and crushed red chile pepper flakes. First time I've seen ranch dressing in a bottle and we didn't have to request it; it was just served with the food; loved this. Serving sizes on all items were more than plentiful. You could take your masks off outdoors which was a surprise and actually pretty nice. The french fries were the best french fries I've yet to eat and I eat fries about once a year if that. They were perfectly salted and crispy but not hard or spongy. They were perfect. Service was great and Zach was our guy. We came on a recommendation of a friend who is a local. We came on a Wednesday afternoon (2pm), it wasn't very busy. The place has two entrances which was a bit confusing and so was the place to order. There was only the bartender helping guests and assisting with placing the orders, which again may be due to the time of day. They have open and ample seating which is nice. We ordered the Andy's special and 12 mild wings (no fries, they give the option). The food came out quick. The man who served the food was friendly. We were given a squeeze bottle with ranch and extra wing sauce which was awesome because some places are stingy with their sauces. The pizza was good and the toppings were phenomenal. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars was that the crust was too thin and a bit too crispy/burnt. It looks like a cool place to hang out with friends. read more
