Each year, I take my volunteers out for 1/2 priced apps after 9:30 pm and EVERY year, this particular Applebees shines in their customer service, food preparation, hosting, and drinks. I am never disappointed and each and every one of the employees that we encounter is pleasant and has a smile on their face. My wife and mother in law have a flight out of JFK tomorrow to Mexico so we ordered takeout. I ordered the ribs with fries and they both ordered the shrimp and Parmesan steak with loaded mash potatoes and broccoli. I orders the ribs with a side of fries. Both steaks were ordered medium and came perfectly cooked that way. They also included lots of butter, sour cream, cheese and bacon. The steaks were delicious and the ribs were sweet with a nice heat. I'm sorry I didn't get pictures of the steaks. We ordered take out because of a trip out of the country tomorrow and this was the fastest place for dinner tonight. They said 15-19 minutes and they were right even though they were packed. I placed a Carside To Go order which was supposed to be ready at 4:16pm. It was not a big order and the parking lot was not full. I arrived right around that time and waited almost 10 minutes before I went inside. I was asked my name and handed the bag after they supposedly double checked the order. I didn't open the bag until I got home and was missing the side mac n cheese which was an extra charge. I added a $5 tip as a courtesy but just got soggy fries and "crunchy" shrimp. What happened to Applebee's? Used to have good food, good employees and cared about customers. I decided to take Denise out for a pre and only Valentine's Day linner (lunch? dinner?) and arrived at about 3pm. I won't go into details about the food which had zero stars for us and one dish made us BOTH sick, did their survey which did NOT offer up a chance for them to contact us, I wonder why? They've heard it all before? The main issue I have is not just at this place. CELL PHONE ADDICTIVENESS. It is running and RUINING life as we know it. I had to clean the table we were at. It looked like a young woman was supposed to be cleaning as I seen her get up and grab a bottle and paper towels(?), then put it down and rush back to where she was sitting and play with her phone. In other words, PRIVATE USE while supposedly getting a paycheck to be WORKING for Applebee's. Noticed also she was eating too. More cringe-worthy? Seeing an employee coming in while we were leaving with a bag of food from Popeye's. If the employees can't bring a bag lunch or eat at the place they work, what does that say about the food there? YIKES... She got up again and quickly grabbed the bottle and towels and went to a table, I looked and saw her "clean" the table in about 5 seconds, then rushed back to where she was sitting and started playing with the phone again. Is that why my table was dirty? If Applebee's is going to pay for people doing personal stuff rather than work for them, WHY are they even working for Applebee's? Of course management was probably back in the office PLAYING ON THEIR CELL PHONES. People have to stop this NONSENSE! It is making unfriendly environments FOR CUSTOMERS who PAY THEIR WAGES. I always ask, what is so damned important you have to play with a cell phone constantly? We have ONE cell phone. We only use it when we go out. We use it to call a cab once in a while or see where a bus is and if it's close. That is it. NOTHING else do we use the phone for. We are NOT addicted to it, like most of America. When are the pyschobabble going to actually say it is the most addictive thing to hit human beings? They won't, they ARE ADDICTED to them too. I am sorry for this rant within a rant but it bugs the heck out of me that these youngsters put no value in WORK anymore. I am 60 and when I got hired I WORKED. Today, we don't want them to cry? Even though my friend and I came in an hour before they closed, they were nothing short of polite. I had the chicken quesadilla and the Sutter Home Cabernet while my friend had the Riblet Basket and Chardonnay. Our waiter was very attentive and gave us the late night price for the quesadilla we got to take out (normally they don't do that). Not a bad place to grab a late night snack. read more

We met our daughter and her friend for my husband's birthday last night. Let me start by saying, the food was good and our steaks came cooked as ordered (medium rare). The condition of the restaurant is another story. When we walked in the door, we noticed a distinct funky musty odor that prevailed throughout the restaurant. Ordered through the app for pick-up. Order was ready by 8 p.m. and I arrived and notified inside. Sat in my car for 30 minutes before something told me to call and see what was up. I called and was told that door dash came and picked up my food. I never ordered through door dash and the girl who brought out the food to the car described my car. Heard her in background telling i guess manager or other worker that she asked if they were there for my order and the driver said yeah yeah. She didn't repeat the order to the person or even ask for ID when it says online to bring your ID to show. She gave my order to someone else. Then to make it worse the person i'm talking with on the phone kept emphasizing that the order was picked up. I had to keep saying it wasn't me and i want my food. It felt like she didn't care and didn't want to re-make my order. In the end I got my food but they need ti check ID's and proof of what these door dash and grub hub people are picking up. Went there for our nfl draft. Got little to no service from the wait staff. The food was decent but somewhat overpriced. It was so cold in the restaurant that were all nearly frozen. Might have been an off night for them , but there really wasnt alot of customers there. Youd think with a group of 10 spending around $200 youd get special attention. This Applebees is a notch above the rest and is far better than the Berkshire Mall location. Food was hot and the portions were large. Went after nine and got the half price appetizers. Chicken wonton tacos have a burst of flavor in every bite. Salsa Verde Brisket nachos were scrumptious. Even my daughters chicken tenders kids meal was delicious. Jesus was our server and although there were very busy he was attentive. We will definitely be back. read more

Took about an hour to get my wings and when they came out they were cold and they looked like my chihuahua pooped them out (they were tiny) and then smeared half of them in bbq sauce. We chose the Car side to go and we ordered online. (Super convenient) I sat in the parking lot maybe 10 minutes before someone came out. Which isn't very long in my opinion. My only complaint is that my BLT was waaaaaaaay too salty. I couldn't even finish it. But the French fries were good. My mom said that the onion rings were awesome. So that's a plus. We go to Applebee's on occasion and we always have a good time, great service and delicious food. Tonight was no exception. I believe our waiter was Robbie, he was very friendly and accommodating, checked up on us several times, even took care of a special request very quickly and without any issues. Even the manager had stopped by our table to ask how things were and he got us a to-go box, which just makes me think highly of him as a manager because he took it upon himself to do that, not just wait for our waiter to come (not that we were waiting long or anything, we had just finished.) I ordered a Red Apple Sangria, which I love. I enjoy Sangria's from other places, but I found Applebee's makes them the best, for my preference, anyway. I ordered the pretzels and beer cheese dip as an app and they were delish. It also came with honey mustard which was also very good. We got brave and tried them together (beer cheese AND honey mustard) and believe it or not, they were very good together too. I also ordered the Cedar Grilled Lemon Chicken and it was amazing! Strongly recommend. My husband got the Three Cheese Chicken Penne and that was very good too (we tasted each other's meals), but I liked my Lemon chicken better. We also got the little $1.50 dessert of small brownie and small scoop of ice cream. Neither of us were wanting a full dessert, but wanted that final sweet something to finish the meal. This is the best place to go and eat. The people are very nice and open the door for when you come in and when you leave. The wait staff is great and very friendly and the food is phenomenal and excellent. We have a waiter that is name Tanner and he is great he always knows what I want to drink and eat and he is very friendly and makes the place light up there is not better place then this Applebee's. read more

The food is okay... I mean depending in what you get it's either amazing or terrible. If mostly recommend the Asian salad i think it is, which is nothing short of perfection. A couple times that my family and i would go, the service was terrible, missed orders and a terrible waiter. However my mother, aunt, cousin and i went the waitress was super cool and fun to talk to. I used to enjoy Applebee's, but after my experience with Tanner as my server I do not think I will attend again. He dropped food all over the floor next to our table, accidents happen, but my problem was that he did not apologize. The only words that were spoken after the incident was "oh my god my night is so terrible" and he walked away. Food and sauces had been spilled on my brand new white shoes AND my pants. We always give them another try simply because the spinach and artichoke dip is just too good, but every time we go the drinks are ALWAYS watered down. The food is always undercooked and if we order steak it's always well done and we like it medium rare. The only good thing about this Applebee's is the service and the appetizers.
