The better part of our meal was my order of the Sesame Salmon Bowl. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the cilantro rice was delicious. The salad with its dressing was very good. Its acidic notes in its dressing balanced out the fish & rice. I don't really like avocado or cucumbers so I ordered it without that salsa. Don't think I missed out on anything. Only other thing I altered was to scrape off some the sesame crusting on the salmon because it did get saltier the further I ate. My Top-Shelf Long Island Ice Tea was really sour. I haven't had one in years so I'm not sure if that's typical or they were too light on the cola in it. My photo shows how pale it is which doesn't look anything like an "ice tea". Although my husband liked his Blue Aloha Mana Margarita (he had this the last time we were there) his Prime Rib Dipper was way too salty. And that was without dipping it in the au jus. He kept it to himself for most of the meal so it wouldn't spoil our anniversary but when the waitress came by with the standard "how's everything?" he finally shared it all. He's been kicking himself since then saying he should have just stopped and not tried to work through it. It will be awhile before he suggests we go to Applebees again. Since he had had enough by then and just wanted to leave, he missed out on their Triple Chocolate Meltdown which he had been eyeing since we sat down. read more

Everything was great. Attentive staff, good food, nice atmosphere and clean too. Highly recommend the Asian chicken salad. Lettuce, cabbage, carrots, toasted almonds, crunchy noodles too. The dressing was very light and sweet and so delicious with all the crunchiness of my salad. (I order my dressing on the side so I can control how much I use.) Hubby enjoyed his chicken Caesar salad too. For dessert we shared their little hot fudge sundae shot. Perfect! read more

We chose Applebee's because of its location and previous experience with this location for lunch on Valentines day this year. We both ordered the 24.00 Ribeye steak with broccoli and mashed potatoes. My steak was perfect. My husband's was nothing but grissel and fat. Suitable for dog food maybe. We complained to the waitress who sent the manager who was condescending and less than concerned about the quality of the meat they served that was not edible. He offer a dessert that we declined and nothing more to compensate for the very low quality inedible meat they served. We will no longer visit Applebee's read more

Came here on our way to kanarraville for our hike. We thought it would be a great location for a light meal before we started our trek. Honestly speaking, all food at every Applebee's taste the same since they are a franchise. What matters and would affect the review would be the service. Our time here wasn't that great. Our waitress went missing for some time, and it took us forever to get our food. People who got seated after us, ordered after us, but they still got their food before us. We sat at the bar, which we normally like to do. Service was fine, clearly had some regulars who they cater to. I don't blame them for that. My real issue was with the food and beer. I ordered the Mac & Cheese with boneless wings. The sauce on the Mac & Cheese was more like heavy cream. No flavor, and it did not stick to the pasta like cheese would. I love IPA's because they have good strong flavors. The only IPA they had was more like a light lager. Maybe Applebee's strategy for food and drink is that no one will complain if there is no flavor? read more

I'm not one to leave a review nor complain, but Everytime I come here the chicken wings are always cold. I ordered a chicken broccoli Alfredo and that was also cold. It is pretty busy but still I shouldn't be getting my food cold especially when I am paying for it. It never fails getting cold food. I have never received better customer service in my life. I ordered a meal that I was not a fan of. Nikki, my server immediately offered to help me find something else that I'd like to eat. Her manager also chatted with me and both of them were SO friendly and SO helpful. They gave me a new meal with no charge and even upgraded it since I was so workable. My friends and I just left Applebee's, two friends ordered the 2 for $25 Bacon Ranch Crispy Chicken Sandwiches, another friend ordered the Fiesta Chicken and I ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp with mashed potatoes and broccoli. My friends got 2 BaconCheese burgers instead of the Chicken Sandwiches and I got the Bourbon Street Chicken without a side of Broccoli (the early bird special only comes with mashed potatoes for $10.99) which isn't available on Saturday and I was charged the $16.49 for the full meal. We informed the waitress and it was blamed on new cooks in the kitchen and no adjustments were made. The Fiesta Chicken was the only dish that was correct. Very Disappointed , came here to eat with the family , ordered some Simple plates - 6oz sirloin , some four cheese Mac and Cheese, Cheeto wings were great and saved them from getting a one star. 6oz sirloin asked for it to be medium and I got it super well done :-( , Mac and Cheese was horrible , water down - no 4 cheese at all urghhh. This is where I have to admit that i ate at applebee's! In a small town not many options for dinner, I wasn't too excited about going to applebee's but the only place open that you can also get a beer. Me and my friend ate at the bar two nights! 1st time was with a blonde bartending and lady 1st time was with a blonde bartending lady. The 2nd was with a guy named James. I have to say they were both wonderful employees! They were both friendly they had great attitudes and made the evening extremely enjoyable.. Last night James had us laughing nonstop. The wait was ten minutes which is long when there was plenty of available seating. Some of the staff appear to live at or around the seating station. One in particular was leaning against the wall, leaning against the seating station and distracting the person assigned to that position. It must be nice to get paid to distract and be on their phone. I'm surprised that it is acceptable at this location for employees to be on their phone publicly. Definitely gives the wrong perception. The small waiting room is made smaller with multiple employees loitering. The food came very quickly. It was warm, that was a plus. I tried the Prime Rib dip, I am not a fan. The Au Jus was very bland and the meat was chewy. Definitely not a fan. Lesley was an excellent server. Update: I tried again a couple weeks later. Same horrible experience with attempting to get a seat. Dozen or so seats available. I think there is an issue at this location. My family ate here on Sunday night 04/28/24, my father and grandfather got the same burger. They hadn't eaten for more than 6 hours before eating their burgers for dinner. Also, my father was there visiting for the day, they don't live in the same city or state. By 9:30pm my father noticed his stomach was bothering him, said it was in knots and he could tell something was wrong. Soon after, my grandpa started to get very sick, very quickly. He spent the night throwing up and having diarrhea. He ended up being so sick, my grandma started to notice he was out of it so she took him to the ER where he was admitted to the hospital and is still in the hospital. My grandma called Applebees to let them know what has happened and the manager completely blew her off. So my dad called, because he was the other person to get sick and the manager blew him off as well saying they just got a good grading and everything. A good rating does not save you from the possibility of serving bad food by any means, I don't even understand how that was relevant. You can get sick from food at the nicest restaurant in the state soooo, how was that helpful? The lack of accountability is what really makes me mad. My grandpa is in his 80s so I think it hit him harder and took more of a toll on his body. But clearly there was something very wrong with those burgers! We obviously won't ever be returning here, particularly because the manager decided he would rather save his own rear then to just apologize and take accountability for the food that clearly made them both sick and quite literally sent my grandfather to the hospital. read more

We are here visiting for a week and already tried a few restaurants in the area. This Applebees is great and the staff is awesome, today was the second time this week, first time we had Kaylee and today we had Matt, both are excellent bartenders and so attentive as well. Food is delicious, both times we ordered the "2 for" deal which includes an appetizer and two dishes. The appetizers were the boneless wings with spicy buffalo sauce, fiesta lime chicken and the salmon plate, which today Matt offered to split for us and we took home the lime chicken plates. read more

Arrived last night about 9:00 PM. Greeted as the doors opened by what seemed to be the hostess? It was myself, my husband & our daughter. First thing she says " is everyone in your party 21" my response was " does it look like it?".. Clearly, as we looked around there was NO ONE in the dining room, but patrons were in the bar. Confused as it was still somewhat early and no where does it state it turns into a "bar only" setting after 9:00 PM when their open until 11:00 PM! It looked to be only 3 staff members the hostess, the bartender & a manger on staff. We were sat in a corner booth in the upper dining room & shortly there after greeted by the bartender. About 5 minutes after we were seated: another family came in. A Mother, Father and two small children. I wonder if this hostess asked them the same thing?! She sat them directly behind us and when they sat down it pushed our backboard to our booth forward. Seats were old and not secured. These people couldn't sit still and made for an uncomfortable experience for us! With the bartender as our server- No complaints there and his service was good. A complement to the kitchen as well, for getting food out in a timely manner. The manger even brought out our food. Back to this hostess and another insult: my daughter needed a refill on her tea, in which the bartender noted but the hostess brought. My daughters empty was in front of her- yet she gave it to me?! I had a half of a beer yet to finish & she places it next to that. I said, "that's not for me, it's my daughters". Her response: "well, at least I got the gender right!" Wow, really?! So turned off & offended by her sarcasm! Meals: Had the double crunch bone in wings - standard. My daughter and I split the quesadilla burger and fries. Nice that they actually presented it on two separate plates. Again just average. My husband had the Club House sandwich and fries. Basic! The thing we didn't care for was the over seasoned fries. Could get through them with all that salt. Seems Applebee's and another well known chain are extremely heavy handed with sodium chloride; yet it doesn't add flavor to bland food it just makes your pulse rate go out of whack. It's unfortunate that this chain and the "other" set such low standards in good quality food & presentation, but you get what you pay for right?! Don't think we will be back anytime soon and seems a struggle to get a good crowd of customers unless your there to just drink & dine at the bar. read more

Came on Veterans Day and the food came out very quick and was good and our server was really nice!

Went in to eat on Friday 13th at around 2:30pm. It was not busy. We were seated fairly quickly. We then sat in our booth for 12 minutes and not one of the 4 servers around us came to even give us waters. My husband got up and asked the host if we could get served and was told yes. Waited another few minutes and not one of the servers ever came to approach our booth. We then got up, left and walked across the street to the Subway where the sandwiches were very good. read more

Well, I've been to many an Applebees. Almost always had good experiences. Usually order drinks from the bar at some point. This Applebees in Cedar is the worst I personally have been to. Only tried once, so it could have its better times, but I won't give it another try. Bartender has no clue how to make drinks. I know it's Utah, but come on. It' was so bad. And the server just says they will charge you for it anyway, whether you drink the sh*t concoction or not. read more

Traveling by and wanted a sit down dinner. Very friendly staff here. Clean and nice feel for a chain place. Had the 2 for $25 bourbon chicken with my wife. Cones with appetizer or salad choice. We had the salad. They were both very good with the exception of salad greens cut in 5" squares. Guess the prep cook wasn't in to chopping into bite size pieces. Chicken was super hot and sizzling on the plate. Shrimp and potatoes combination made for a very nice and very good flavor. Again the table staff was excellent! Noticed it wasn't just our server, but all tables around us the staff was great! Not sure why the low average rating here. On this occasion I would recommend this location to anyone. Food was cooked just right, clean surroundings and an awesome wait staff is pretty much a winner here. Place had about 70% of tables being used so if you can do this at a busy time like when we visited that's awesome! Our steaks were like leather, my hubby's onion rings were in the fryer far too long and the shrimp had so much pepper on them I could barely eat it. Not impressed at all! Food portions are small for the price & the packaging for the one breadstick was ridiculous. The Brownie bite is literally one bite for $1.99, not a slice like it shows online. Side salad, which consisted of mainly lettuce & not that much, will cost you $4.99! Chicken Alfredo $13.49, could have been good if it was given to us hot. Wonton tacos $7.99, were good. The meal cost $33 and not what I was hoping I would get! May give them another chance cuz we'll be in the area for a bit. Hoping it will be better next time! read more
