We had been here before, so we came back expecting another good experience. We chose Parowan Cafe…read moreto celebrate our 7-year-old's birthday because she was excited to have a special birthday breakfast. When we asked our waitress if they did anything for birthdays, she seemed dismissive and irritated, responding, "We don't do things for birthdays, sorry." I understand that not every restaurant offers birthday desserts or freebies, but what was disappointing was that there was no effort to acknowledge the birthday or even speak to my daughter. A simple "Happy Birthday" would have meant a lot. Unfortunately, the service continued to be disappointing. It took quite a while to place our order, we were never asked if we needed anything else or wanted refills, and when we were ready to leave, we tried multiple times to get our waitress's attention for to-go boxes and the check. She ignored us, and we eventually had to flag down another server for assistance. This experience left us feeling overlooked, especially on what was supposed to be a special morning for our daughter. We weren't expecting anything extravagant--even a little whipped cream on her pancakes and a sincere "Happy Birthday" would have made her feel celebrated. Based on this experience, we won't be returning.

The cinnamon roll was dry and stale. It wasn't just day-old, it tasted like it was several days old. Do not waste your time stopping at this Cafe. I'd give zero stars if I could.

There is indoor and outdoor seating but definitely try to eat outside. The view is so beautiful. The menu was pretty varied from tacos, sandwiches, burgers and meats. The drink menu was good too with lots of different draft beers and cocktails. We had the crispy Brussel sprouts -so good! The beer battered shrimp tacos on corn tortilla was really good and came with chips. Do try the "dirty soda"--vanilla root beer, coconut cream and lime. Loved it. The staff was super nice and even accommodated my request for no added salt. Definitely recommending this place!

I recently visited Camp Outpost and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, my burger was…read moreabsolutely delicious, and the fries were perfect--crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The fried pickles were also fantastic, especially with the great ranch dip. However, the Mission Salad was just ok. We actually had to reorder it because they initially forgot to add the roasted corn and black beans. If a server had been available, this could have been addressed immediately. Instead, I had to go up to the counter, wait for someone, and then let them know about the order issue. Even after it was remade, there was simply too much lettuce, and for the price, it really isn't worth it. Service-wise, I was frustrated by having to tip before even being served. Additionally, the staff never checked on us during our meal to see if everything was good or to refill our water. I'm torn between a 3-star and a 4-star review because service means everything, especially in this day and age where everything is outrageously expensive.

A Must-Stop on I-15! Do yourself a favor and stop at Arshel's Loaded Burgers in Beaver!…read more We ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and the bacon cheeseburger, and both were absolutely outstanding. The beef patties were juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. You can tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in what they serve. The French fries deserve their own shout-out. They're made from real potatoes, skins and all, and cooked to crispy, golden perfection. They were the perfect complement to the burgers. The staff was incredibly courteous, friendly, and helpful, making us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere captures Utah at its best--comfortable, unpretentious, and with just the right touch of country charm. It's easy to see why this place has such a loyal following. Whether you're a local or just traveling through Beaver, Arshel's is absolutely worth the stop. We'll definitely be back!
