Very much like DeDe's was in St. George. She and Kirk closed the cafe in St. George several years ago. We used to eat there every Saturday morning. We recently learned that they opened the new location and decided to give it a try. Menu much the same as the old place. A good selection of breakfast and lunch fare. We stopped by here a couple of years ago on our way to Flagstaff, AZ. From the outside, it looks huge. However, it's only a portion of the building. The building used to be a barn. The owners have done a great job creating a country-themed café with all their decor. Today we were driving back from St. George after watching our favorite musical, Les Miserable at Tuacahn. My mother-in-law is also huge fan of Sister Wives and showed her where Meri Brown's former Lizzie's Heritage Inn is located - I was egging her on to ring the doorbell to say hi! On our way back home, we decided to stop by Dede's for some snacks. We ordered a cinnamon roll, cherry pie, blueberry pie a la mode to eat at the restaurant and a pumpkin cheese muffin strudel to go. The cinnamon roll was served warm with cream cheese frosting and powdered sugar on top. I was disappointed with how dry outsides of the roll was. However the more you dig into the center, the more moist the center became. I wanted a softer center with more cinnamon flavor. The frosting was too sweet and needed more cream cheese flavor. My suggestion is to use heavy cream before they bake the rolls to give it that super soft roll. I really like this blueberry pie filling! It was crushed blueberries but had nice chunks of blueberries. The top and bottom of the crust was not great but not bad. If I could get the crusts from Vejo Pies with this filling, it would be phenomenal! I would definitely stop by next time to get a piece of this pie. I never grow to try the muffin because I already had too much sugar for the day. My daughter will let me know how this tastes. If you stop by Parowan, it is a really quaint city and since it's almost Halloween, the city has decorated Main Street with bales of Halloween themed bales. By far the worst dinner I have ever eaten Overcooked steaks Cold mash potatoes gravy And a house salad that was literally just lettuce and the smallest sprinkle of cheese. This Farmhouse Café was so adorable. I have never been to a restaurant or café that has cute decor in every direction that you look. Our meal was a good sized portion for a good price. The wait was not too long, but we arrived a little bit early and as it got later the restaurant got way more packed so there was a wait outside. I order their French toast combo and it had so much powdered sugar, but I loved every bite of it. I was also really impressed with their hot chocolate. It was a little bit of a wait to get our food. Overall, an amazing experience and the staff treated us with that kind Utah hospitality. read more

Date of visit: May 25, 2026 Our last stop as we made our way out of Utah and to Nevada, this came recommended by the staff at the Hilton resort we stayed at the night prior and overall they were right on the money! Staff was very folksy and friendly, even "moming" my husband into trying their famous strawberry rhubarb jelly (he's partial to grape jelly in that it's really the only jelly he will eat) and even more surprisingly, he actually liked it. Food was a bit of a mixed bag--the biscuit was great, and I loved the bacon, but my pineapple in my omelet was very sour and I ended up having to eat around it, sadly. The decor is as fun and folksy as the staff, and they sell much of the stuff on the walls (plus the jelly, take some home to your mom!), so you can snag a souvenir and a meal at the same time. read more

I am surprised there are not more reviews about how amazing their homemade breakfast sausage is. It's not overly seasoned and salted like the store bought brand. It's tender, juicy and delicious. It melts in your mouth. We also had the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and Peaches n Cream French Toast. Both were delicious but the sausage has ruined me for any other sausage. Love DeDe's cafe for breakfast! Saw this place driving to Brian Head and had to come back to have breakfast. Quaint space in a log cabin that is a perfect breakfast destination. Just enough room for a group if needed, but they can fill up quickly. Service is very personal and warm. Greeted with a smile and seated right away. Place quickly filled up and the service was still on point. The lady inside worked her butt off and did awesome taking care of us. Food was excellent. We got blueberry hotcakes, hot dang skillet, corned beef hash and their special of pumpkin caramel French toast. Hot dang skillet was so good! The country potatoes were crispy and tender at the same time with onion and pepper. On top was pepper jack and jalepenos. Came with 2 eggs and choice of meat. I got their homemade sausage. Very good. Also came with tortillas or toast. I got toast and tried their strawberry rhubarb jam. Yummy! Jam was so good. I really enjoyed and was stuffed after eating. Rest of my group thought their food was great as well. Hotcakes came with regular or boysenberry syrup. Boysenberry was awesome with the hotcakes. French toast special was devoured and received 2 thumbs up. The corned beef hash was superior to other places. It was a huge portion and perfect savory and salty combo. This place is as cute as its name!! I went with a friend who frequents here for all the right reasons-friendly staff, great food, quick service and their Strawberry/Rhubarb jam. I had the biscuits and gravy with 2 over medium eggs and crispy fried home style potatoes!! Can we talk about those for a minute? They were the best darn country potatoes I have had in a long while!! That's also why it gets its own photo!! The split biscuit was fluffy even with the yummy thick gravy on top. Stopped here for breakfast on the way home from Brian Head. It's super convenient and on the way home for us. We were seated promptly and greeted warmly. The aesthetic is farm house. They also sell seasonal items that are displayed throughout the store. I ordered a traditional two egg breakfast with ham. My daughter got the blueberry pancakes. They were both delicious. The server offered strawberry rhubarb syrup for her pancakes. It was delish. Our server was so nice and calm. We will absolutely be back when we are in town and highly recommend it if you're looking for a traditional breakfast spot. read more

A quick brush with butter, salt, pepper, and a slight dash of old bay and grilled would have been perfect. These were chopped to oblivion. The mixed greens were "romaine and romaine". I happen to like romaine, so I guess that was okay. There were 3 VERY thin slices of avocado. A nice helping of diced, flavor-less tomatoes, and shredded Swiss. Most boring entree salad I have ever eaten. Hubby ordered spaghetti and meatballs with garlic Texas toast. He ate the meatballs. Horrible dinner. Enough said. We have been stopping here on our trips from Las Vegas to Boise for a couple years now. It is so worth the stop off I-15 if you want amazing homemade food with such a cute and interesting decor! I usually get breakfast but this time got their Philly sandwich. OMG! What flavor! The beef practically melted in my mouth and the sautéed mushrooms must have been picked that day! Wow! It is family run with the mom, who had just canned their strawberry rhubarb jam that morning! We've bought couple other jams or jellies and all were delicious! We always stop in here on our way home from skiing at Brian Head. Service is always super friendly and efficient. We're never disappointed with the food. Kids love the options as do we. Don't pass this up! We were staying in Brian head and tried food at the resort and lodge and not only was it expensive but it was terrible. We've been driving down the mountain to get better food and this was by far our favorite! The place was packed but we were seated quickly and the service was 10/10. We felt right at home here! We were seated immediately and our server was a delightful. The length of time between ordering and receiving our meal was perfect. I ordered the pumpkin spice French Toast special...4 ginormous slices of perfectly prepared French Toast, scrambled eggs and the juiciest, most flavorful sausage patty I've ever eaten. I topped each slice with something different (the server brought boisenberry and maple syrup and their homemade strawberry rhubarb jam). Each bite was a little taste of heaven. My husband had an omelette (the bacon delight, I think...or something like that) which he enjoyed. The homemade biscuit was the star of his meal.
