It might be because I went on a late afternoon on a Wednesday and the staff was bored or end of their shift, but I was not overwhelmed with the service. We looked for a new place to try on our way to Pine Lake Utah. We chose Park Place Eatery, because the menu looked good, parking was easy and had outdoor seating. What a lovely little spot. I loved walking inside here. Very inviting, very nice decor, lots of seating, clean restrooms, fresh water and cups to help yourself. Wonderful cookies and treats in the desert case. You have 3 options to order, meaning you can order your item as a sandwich, a salad or a crepe. My husband ordered the Pig in the park sandwich, I ordered the same, but as a salad. My mom ordered the grilled ham and cheese sandwich. Each item comes with a little bag of their own chips.my mom ordered 3 oatmeal chocolate chip walnut cookies to go. EVERYTHING was delicious. Especially my salad. If I would have had room for it, I would've ordered a strawberry crepe. I saw one just being finished and was plated, it was very very big, had strawberries and bananas in it and had strawberry purée drizzled on top of it. I will definitely be back and will try that delicious looking crepe. If you like salads, sandwiches and crêpes, you have got to try this place. What a gem. Don't miss this place, put it on your list. Came here with a wedding party luncheon. The Good. Pizza was fresh, hot and pretty good. Salad was great with a fresh made raspberry vinaigrette. They also served a Pasta Alfredo dish with sausage pieces. It was pretty good also. Servers were helpful and took care of getting over 100 people fed. The Bad. The Grooms parents rented the whole place for this dinner. Starting time 1:30. Food wasn't served till 1:50. Why? The whole purpose was to start at 1:30 & to have the lunch to start at 1:30. With this many people who had been at a wedding since 10:15 people were ready to eat. The pizza was slow to come out with 1-2 small pies coming out about 8-10 minutes apart. Again WHY???? There were 7 employees working. They were paid well for the lunch. It just put a poor effort for me. In the future I would think that things could be better handled by taking care of the small details. In all things went well. It should have been great for the newly married couple. I will start with this place is beautiful! The ambiance is spot on, along with the music. It feels cozy and inviting. Service is also friendly and informative. I feel like this place has so much more potential than it's offering with such a limited menu. They have only a simple pour over coffee which isn't tasty at all. We ordered two crepes, the flavor was there however they were cold. It would be much more tasty if they served the crepes right off the grill instead of waiting for the rest of the food for the group. The sandwich was tasty but also, lacking the heat from being fresh off the grill. We also ordered a cookie, the flavor potential is there but actually tasted if it was a few days old and was very stale and hard. I'd come back, but I think this place could absolutely soar with a coffee menu added and a few improvements. We will be back. read more

Was looking for a place to eat breakfast at on the way back to Vegas, found this and it was amazing. My fiance and I got the Roast Beast, Cheesecake Berry Crepes, and the Tomato Basil Gnnochi & Sausage Soup. The soup was so tasty, the staff also friendly and helpful for first timers. Although there was no coffee as I hoped for, after eating here I didn't crave coffee anymore. It's so filling. Also be careful if you order a crepe because it's gigantic (still good though). The atmosphere was cozy and pleasing. Would definitely come back if I take another trip to Utah. read more

I feel bad leaving a negative review but it was mediocre at best. We took our kids here for breakfast. We came in and there were plenty of seats. No real welcome from staff. Asked for menus which they didn't have. Just some items listed on the wall. We asked for water and it took 30 minutes to get water. We waited for food so far for thirty+ minutes so far in a fairly empty restaurant. We have watched people come in and leave because of the wait. The ambiance is really a cool stripped-down industrial look. Old brick, exposed beams, and cool windows. When we get our food I'll let you know if it was worth the wait. After 40+ minutes the food was just ehh... I ordered the Parker and it had cold cut ham, bacon, egg and cheese on sourdough with potato chips as a side. Something very easily made at home and pretty ordinary. The kids didn't love their breakfast sandwiches either. I personally would not come back. read more

This was among the most disappointing restaurant experiences I have had - premium prices for cold, mediocre food. We should have taken a clue by the fact that it was empty when all of the surrounding restaurants were busy. Here are the highlights: After waiting more than 20 minutes in an empty restaurant, the food arrived cold. What they call "crepes" are not. They are thin, cold pancakes. Berries were not sweet and the fruit sauce tasted like it came from a tin can. The ham in the Foster "crepe" tasted like processed lunch meat. The bacon was sparse, and the sandwich was lukewarm. Aside from taking our money and bringing food to the table, customer service was nonexistent; no greetings, no checking to see how everything was. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend. read more

No fresh coffee, no soup, no salads, and not much to offer in bakery selection. There was one option. That all being said, sandwiches were very good. Everything tasted fresh. Lots of seating. Great location! Clean restaurant with nice options. We stopped by for breakfast and ordered crepes. The filled crepes were very generous- had we known we would've split them! The folks in my group who ordered coffee reported it was good. I was hoping for some of the bakery items too, but they were either sold out or not ready at the time we visited. I saw park place through Yelp and decided to give it a shot based on the reviews. The service was pretty quick and it was helped immediately. They had an array of sandwiches to choose from, decided to go with the Turkey pesto panini. It came with a side of chips and the portions were great. Located at the edge of down town Cedar City this little cafe is great. The staff are friendly and eager to help. The menu is limited but they offer vegetarian options too. Their cookies are the best. We had sandwiches, which come with potato chips. I enjoyed the turkey club ( they ran out of bacon) on wheat bread. The turkey, bread and veggies were very fresh and a roast beef, grilled. We got two cookies - one lemon and one chocolate. The lemon was amazing . . I wish I'd ordered two. The chocolate was also excellent. Their cookies are soft, not crispy which I enjoyed. A MUST STOP when in or around Cedar City! The sandwiches are amazing! The Crepes are OUTSTANDING! We came into town and were excited that we would have the time to stop and eat here. We stopped in for a late breakfast around 10am. We split the breakfast sandwich with ham, cheese and egg. We also split a Berry and Cream Crepe. Then we came back for a late lunch around 2pm. We split a turkey sandwich on grilled sourdough. We also split a Berry and Cream Crepe which we added Nutella to, this time. Heaven on Earth! Didn't seem like they were ready since we were standing at the cash register for a couple minutes before someone even came from the back to greet us. Then while ordering I asked if there was any coffee/tea and there wasn't any ready. They named it a cafe so I was hoping for a caffeine drink in the morning. (-1 star) -.5 star is for only having one vegan option even though its advertised on yelp as a vegan restaurant. I like saurkraut so The Esther sandwich was yummy and full of delicious veggies. Stopped in for lunch on the way to Cedar Breaks and we shared a delicious crepe with turkey, avocado, spinach, pesto and cheese. It was served with extra crispy potato chips and was plenty for 2 adults. For dessert we couldn't resist the blueberry lemon scone.
