We came here for our honeymoon & it such a good trip! We went snowboarding both days (3 minute drive from the hotel) and after snowboarding we would go hot tubing at the hotel, super relaxing and all the guest there were really friendly. We ate at the restaurant both nights and the food was really good. They also had a pool table by the bar which was fun! The room was clean, had a fireplace, full kitchen & full living room. When we come back to brian head we will definitely stay here again! read more

Review is specifically for the restaurant in the hotel. Now I get it I get it.. there isn't much to eat here that's close by. I do get that! $62 for a steak as example.. $25 for a 12 inch pizza. List goes on and on. What I'm getting at here is.. get your wallet open for the restaurant. The reason for my low rating is specifically the quality of said food. If I'm spending $60 bucks for a meal, I would hope I would get better quality than something from Costco or Walmart. The staff I dealt with was okay, but seemed to be impatient. read more

This has become my husband and I happy spot. It is beautiful summer or winter. The staff are exceptionally nice and helpful. Plus they don't treat us any differently since I am disabled and have a service dog, infact they love him to pieces. The food is good. Well maintained and ideally located if you're in the area. Restaurant options are limited but the rooms are rather nice. Many of the amenities have odd functionality issues, like the sauna door you have to use your ninja fingernail grip to close since there isn't a handle. Apparently this has been the norm for the past five years, according to our spa friends. The jacuzzi on the northwest side works sporadically...sometimes turning the control nob works and sometimes it doesnt. I pointed this out to the front desk and they said "oh ya, it does that..we can't figure it out". All in all, this is a nice comfortable, clean place to get some rest. Front desk people were very helpful - especially when we arrived tired and stressed. Rooms very comfortable with everything we needed at hand. I took one star away because when we arrived there had been some flooding at the foyer(burst pipe due to extremely cold temperatures). The bus picked us up out front and took us to the ski lifts - very convenient! Lots of snow and skiing was great! Quickly forgot about the burst pipe!! read more

This is our family's second year at cedar breaks lodge. Great service, accommodations and ambiance. The family loves skiing and snowboarding and just being able to play in the snow. Love being able to bring our own food and cooking but also having the option of going to the restaurant on property. read more

The codo we are staying at is ok. It's very clean and well organized. They disn't mention in the ad that thwre are pans and a two burner electric stove so that was a nice surprise when we found it in the closet. But the bathtub's jets do not work, there is a fire extinguisher on the wall next to the tv, the blinds can't be raised, the kitchen ware is of very poor quality, no space to put you staple food. Small things like that adds up. My biggest disappointment was the restaurant. Not at all what the web site tells is about "world class cuisine". it even has a different name. Obviously they haven't bothered to update their web site. We had a great stay here a few years ago. will not come back. There are other nicer and less expensive places to stay here in Brian Head. read more

We wanted to go hiking 8/11 and wanted to get some grab and go options for lunch. We ordered 4 breakfast sandwiches and they heated them for us. When we took them out for lunch, we realized that all four sandwiches had past their shelf life. I should've paid attention when I received the items but unfortunately did not. read more

Will not be returning here. Ever. First of all, do not come here during any months when it gets hot during the day. We arrived around 10pm and when we entered the room it was about 85°. We called the desk and asked about AC, and they informed us that there is no AC. They claimed it was because they are "more of a winter resort." If they are unwilling to spend an extra buck for 3/4 months of the year they should simply not be open during those months. They mentioned there was a fan in the room and it was THE LOUDEST box fan I've ever heard. I slept maybe 2 hours the whole night. Make note that they charge a $20 resort fee each day. It was decently clean and the staff were nice enough, but I would not come back here. read more

We are for dinner and we are told by staff that they can not move tables so we are sitting 8 dinner guests at a 6-top table. What the hell is this? We asked for the manager and the bartender (20-something years old) showed up saying she is in charge tonight and said we can't move tables because the bottoms will fall off! Now we are being told you have a $32 cork charge when your wine is cheaper if we buy the bottle here. Stay tuned for more edits as I continue this experience. Edit***** The chicken salad was swimming in some vinegar dressing that made my lips pucker. The other salad had no dressing and was not finished eaten due to lack of. The staff was lost and just standing around which represents the management as it trickles downhill by example. No way am I coming back. 8 people crammed into a 6 top alone was enough. We even called to let your staff know we were coming with a party of 8. I really thought Brian Head was classier than this. I thought I was at a Denny's. read more

Fortunate to have found this cafe open at 7:30AM! I could not find anything else open. It's inside the lobby of the Cedar Breaks Lodge. I didn't catch her name but the young lady with blonde hair was nice and accommodating for my large coffee order. Will def come back when we visit again! read more

Got into Brian Head late and this was our only option. Me being gluten free didn't have many options. Went with the beef short ribs. For the price I was expecting beef ribs not rubbery tri-tips. Bar tender is extremely rude and lacks a personality. After I ordered and paid for my drinks he forgot to ring in my food, he then hands me a check for 52 dollars for a side of fries after I had already paid. I asked to have the check for the fries and he said that's the one. He then threw my cash onto the bar top at me and said here that makes it easy for you. Extremely rude and disrespectful. Cedar breaks is a great place to stay but they need a new bartender with a good attitude and who makes guest feel welcome and wanting to come back. read more

I never expected to find such fantastic coffee in Brian Head. The lounge is a small, intimate little cafe in the lodge, but it is the only place to get a decent cup of coffee in the area. They use freshly roasted beans from a microroaster in Salt Lake, and with the skill of a trained barista deliver only the best coffee and espresso. Even if you're not staying at the lodge hotel, do yourself a favor and stop by the lounge for your liquid caffeination. You won't regret it. It's small, but it's wonderful! Nothing like having a hot cup of delicious drip coffee in the morning and warming up next to the fireplace after a morning of skiing. read more

I love love this place! When we come to Brian head this is the first place we go to in the morning. Have oatmeal and a coffee and sit by the fire. Service is always friendly and coffee is hot and tasty. So glad there is a real coffee shop here!! Even during "mud" season! read more

Amazing little coffee shop nestled in the Cedar Breaks Lodge. Barista was super friendly and spot on with her drink game. Made us an off menu item too, so just ask if you can't find your favorite drink on the menu. Our group was so relieved and excited to find a *real* coffee shop on our trip to southern Utah. My mocha was delish with a super cute latte art to top it off. My friend enjoyed her dirty chai latte as well. Elodie is why this place gets 5 stars. She makes the best coffee, conversation and brings a smile to everyone she encounters. My only recommendation is longer hours; its only open from 7:30 - noon but I would like to see them open by 6:30-7am and perhaps have open hours in the afternoon (3-5pm?) as folks come back from skiing the mountain all day craving a hot coffee concoction made by the super talented Elodie. read more

Elodie is the most amazing barista ever. The drinks on the menu are great, but when I asked for a special drink, she made it to perfection! Our simple donut was served as a gourmet piece of art.
